Way too cool, Mace! Great job, looking forward to seeing you up in Milwaukee again!
Any "how do you feel starting out today" type comments from the lead groups (heck, anyone there) would be great to start out! Curious from the players involved how the approach of someone in the lead would differ from someone who is chasing and has to make up ground (i.e. would Schweb feel that he has to take chances, would Barry take a 'play it safe' approach).

A very cursory and unscientific look at the Round 3 hole scores looks as if hole 14 has the lowest scoring spread. There seems to be more white there than color. Interestingly, even with the scorching rounds of the top 14 players all parred it with only Timo Pursio taking a birdie 2. I conclude that the best players took the least risk and played it safe. Smart.

In Round 3 in a 4 hole stretch from 11-14 Nick Rutten does a double Jekyll and Hyde taking +4 (8), -1 (4), +8 (13), -1 (2)
[His birdie on #14 was the only birdie on the hole among the bottom 67 players.]

While it's quiet on here now that everyone has gone home from "work"...
More Jekyll and Hyde:
o 2005. In Round 1 Avery Jenkins was -10 on holes 1-10! and then +6 on holes 11-18 to end at -4
o 2005. In Round 1 Jason Johnson eagled the 901 ft. hole 12 with a 3 then took a 10 (+5) on the redesigned hole 13 (888 ft.)

Here's my question: can you give a quick description of how the "dots" scoring is being done? Is the position of each shot being called in, or is someone following the group with a laptop that is connected to the internet? And how do they position the dots and update the web page?

Very cool to be able to see this tourney with my own eyes. Went down to play the Par 3 shoot-out and went over to check out the USDGC. Very cool.
Gotta pretty cool Barry story:
After hole four some 15 yr old kid runs up to Barry and asks him to sign his disc. I don't know what I was expecting, but Barry took the disc, signed it, and gave it back the the kid with a smile.
I am thinking he may tell this kid to buzz off until after the round, but he didn't. I don't know what his reputation as a player is, but I was impressed with the way he handled the situation.
Congrats to Barry, Sweb, and all the top finishers
