Well I have won a couple Live Oak summer Open was my biggest win, but a win is only good for that day :D

Actually, for enquiring minds, I've been playing almost 4 1/2 years, seriously (meaning alot :D) for slightly less than that.

Its true that my rating has taken a nosedive over the last year (more like a free fall), but I'm now playing better than ever. I may deserve all the schmacking I get over my new rating (expected after Witchita Falls), but its all up from here.

As for Mr. RecKibbin, y'all cut him some slack. I know what its like to replace quality game with smack. Of course both my game and my smack are far superior to his (the former being a fairly sad indictment of his skill), but he's doing the best that he can. Its not very good, obviously, but trying hard is important.

Let's see, Team Toofless did very well in Open, talking 2nd and 3rd. Good for them they didn't have to compete against any of our Open players, huh?

We had a 2nd place in Pro Masters and a dam fine 3rd place Pro Women, with Danielle finishing strong and beating her two main competitors who normally play FW1 with her. Very nice. Billy had a bit of a setback in MA1, falling 4 spots behind Vargas, but that's not a worry. That's still a pretty evenly matched pair of golfers. Mr. Bender seems to have simply taken a day off to rest and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Circle R. Who can blame him. :)

As for me, hell if a 65 on the hill is all it took to put Bam Bam in 2nd in OMB (congrats, btw), then I definitely shoulda been there. None of us can hang with the bagger supreme Larry Thompson too often, but I feel I'd have been in it below that and certainly would've handed Booby a spanking. :)

Ran through the layout again Sunday. Birdied hole 1, lost a disc on hole 2. Decided on most holes, the rope will only be on one side of the hole (at a time, but often changing sides on the same hole).

Will probably only be installing rope on a few holes for the 27th unless there are a lot of helpers.

Alright, well I'm not gonna speak for my teammates, all of whom are more skilled than I, but I'm gonna puss out on Vinnie's bet. :(

Main reason being, with events to talk about of my own and minis to post and promote, I can't afford not to be able to post for a month. On the chance that V-man did beat me by 5 strokes a round, I simply can't afford to take the chance. Sorry.

I will however make a prediction of my own. All Team Evolution members will be in the cash this weekend and in the top 25% of their respective divisions and will register at least 2 wins. Vinnie however will finish in last place cash.

Thank you Mark Atwood for a great tournament! I had a wonderful time this weekend and played really well (only 4 bogey's for the weekend [5 if you count my dog] ) Everyone was touched by the presentations before the tournament and I hope that this tourney grows and grows.

I stayed and played Burnet the next day and that little course is a pretty cool course (with teeth)-9
ps. Mark Vargas and Troy Soules wish you were there to witness how I am going to treat you soon!!!!!!

And yes it is very redneck of me to be so torn up about lossing a dog. but this dog was different, the only thing in life he wanted was to hang with me.
The story is this way 2 dogs enter my land(60lb shepard and a 50 lb healer)
I heard the dog fight just never thought it envolved Cooter.
Cooter killed the shepard, then crawled 100 yards to find me, he bleed to death on our front porch.
After digging his grave, I spoke with the neighbor who owned the healer and warned him to keep his dog out my yard......5 minutes later that healer found out how good a shot I am.
This has really torn up my family and it meant, means allot to us that Cooter was liked by so many people.

Sorry to hear about your buddy, Cooter. I just lost my choc. lab Sadie to bladder cancer a couple of months ago. She was well known on Virginia golf courses because she knew how to behave and wouldn't chase discs. All she wanted to do was hang with me while I played disc golf.

She is buried within sight of one of the baskets on my private course.

So Looky looky, after spotting Apewood 12 strokes for my lateness saturday morning, I came back and beat him by 7 strokes for the tourny. It was night and day for me, +29 sat. +4 on sunday.

Well I will tell you why. I bought my plane ticket and was all set. than the TD was going through some family issues and moved to Austin and told me he was not running the tourney. So there went my place to stay. so since he was not running it I was not going to play so I sold my airfare to Jerry P. Than the TD changed his mind. But since I already sold my airfare and did not want to hassel with getting another ticket and trying to figure out where I was going to stay, how to get my cart to Lubbock I am going to go to the TEXAS 10 instead.

The original plans called for 2 rounds. I was always thinking sometime around 10 a.m. to start (that's what I consider not early, Sir).

I've been in computer hell for the last week and I'm on the slow and sometimes "un-connectable" Temple office computer (monkeys are allowed to make up words if rednecks are allowed to create their own spellings), so its been hard for me to stay in touch. Also, there's a new cell # - 254-624-5366. I'd like to hear from all Team Members (the real one, not the fake one) today so that we can wrap up all these plans. (If any of you have a Sprint phone, use that since its free. :) )

If we have to and everyone agrees, I suppose we could make it one round, since that's all we'll need to beat the fakers.

If there's a total strokes tie afterwards (in the event we only play 1 round) I'd like to propose a 9-hole Match Play tiebreaker, between the representatives of each team (one each), who had the best scores in the previous round, using the back 9. If we play two rounds, same two players would play a sudden death playoff. (I'm sure Sir Miller would prefer the Match Play format, since the last time he went sudden death with a monkey, it didn't work out well for him.)
