Played this course yesterday...

A nice mix of Rivery and OSP, and plenty of folks playing.

How accurate are those distances? I nearly aced #10. Yeah it's downhill, but 382' is a good chunk for me.

do you have all the course info you need!! maps , scorecards etc. the rec center has some great scorecards with a color aerial map on the back!!!

Is the rec center close by? Will we see it clearly? We dont have any of that.

it is on trails end , which is the next street past O'conner (HEB). take a right and it's about 1/2 mile down on the right.You can't miss it!! they are very friendly and will give you as many as you want!! :D

Thanks Cat Hollow for a great Saturday. TEN women came together to play. 5 LOLO's and 5 LOCO's :D. The course is awesome and has a great mixture of shots. Nothing too hard, nothing too easy. Laura Karshis, Jenn Morales, Steph McWhirter, Jaimee Sisson, Laura Coffey, KT Stockham (sp?), Keela Mattson, Laura Hovey, Tara (local) and myself all enjoyed two rain free rounds. The first round was singles and then we played all girl dubs. For some this was there first doubles experience. KT sweeps the day and wins both the singles and doubles with her partner Laura Karshis. Nice shooting KT. The LOLO's and Laura Coffey donated CTP prizes. I won the Sidewinder and I think Jenn won the breast cancer awareness towel.

none really, the closest thing to Cat Hollow that I can think of would be either Bear Creek,Z-Boaz,McKinney, or maybe the new Cedar Hill course. Everything else up there is pretty much open, Cat Hollow is mediocre technical but not quite as technical as Rivery park in Georgetown.

I did look for the directions to the course, but I cant find them. I know the course directory has the map to the zip code but can someone familar please post the directions for the not so familiar? Out of staters are asking too, so please make them as easy as possible for us women drivers. :D

I-35 north if coming from SA to 620 take a left back over I-35 and go to O'connor (i think) you will see the HEB on right. take a right at that light go to 1st stop sign take another right course is on right just pass the privacy big open field on your left. from north take I-35 south and take 620 to your right and than same directions.

Last year we did $5 + $5 ace pot, ctp for half the ace if no ace was hit. This year $5 + $2 ace pot with ace carried untill hit. Not sure if the ace will be open to all or have a system of being vested in order to win. This usually isn't a problem because it rarely carried for more than 3 weeks last year so for the time being you don't have to be vested to win, this is subj. to change. :D Hope to see a big turnout on Thur. to help get this mini kicked off.
