I know what you mean about the bottom dwellers. I found a friend of mine's disc on Ebay about a year ago.The disc even had his phone number as well as his name. I actually bought the disc and gave it back to my bud. The crazty thing about it, was when I got it back, we had the guy's name and address. Kinda of bogus when your selling other people's plastic. Best thing is to when you find out who it is, just ban him from playing with your group.

That isn't the best seller. I recently got 2 japan rocs from him and one of them had a flaky hotstamp and a big part of it had flaked off by the I got it. he said the rest of the one like the ones I got were the same way so I couldn't trade. He did promptly give me a refund. then a couple of days later he listed another one and didn't say anything about the flaky hotstamps! I contacted him about the Teebird in the auction, and he said that its probably not a proto ce and he still has it listed as that!!! kinda lame

Yeah...and what about those people too lazy to retrieve their own plastic from the pond---especially knowing it's in there. "Ooh, it's so icky and yucky in that nasty water..." If you're not willing to go into a water hazard after your plastic, tough titty--you'll probably never see it again. Now, I do agree that misrepresenting a disc's model or run in an auction/sale is completely reprehensible.

We have several people in the area here who fish for discs. But everyone pays them for finding lost discs. What a novel idea. Charge a finder's fee to those people not willing to take the splash, but will pay the cash.

Are you serious? This guy went swimming in a lake for a disc your buddy didn't care that much about or he could have just as well swam for it, and do you really expect it to be returned? More power to him for finding it. At best he should charge your buddy $20 for the effort of fishing it out, then you'll see if it's worth it. Personally if I give up on a disc I have either looked way too long, or didn't care, I gave up on it, more power to whoever finds it. Just my feelings about lost (gave up on) discs. Nothing is ever "lost" just hiding somewhere and if you spend enough time and effort you'll find it. If you don't want to spend that time and effort then you waive all rights to the disc.

i would not say that is the case with Destroyer, because your discs are custom dyes that people either go crazy about or don't. On the other hand these destroyer sales have been falsely driven up by a few buyers will to pay anything to get these disc, why I'm not sure. I think the masses are willin to pay a little extra but not $200 :confused:

It's pretty much one guy, he has bid some up to $200, and is also the sole bidder on a few with $199 start price. All the star stamp ones. You can bet he will bid on the others that are lower priced once the auction is almost over. He seems to want them all.

It is the same difference.

Anyway it's 3 main guys. olow, kobe and some griffin guy when they first came out. They were going nutz on those destroyers.

There is a logical reason why I'm bidding on certain disc's.

I'm not hoarding them either. Some will be used for our Club , prizes , etc. Others are being bought for a specific reason.

I'll try to explain if necessary , but not at this time.

And just so everyone knows, we are aware of people with muliple message board accounts. Keep in mind however that user probations and suspensions apply to a person, not just one account. If a user commits multiple offenses which warrant suspension, no matter which account is used ALL accounts for that person will be locked.

Second being the 2001 USDGC CE Valkyrie. These were not 1st runs. They were a combination of both 2nd and 3rd runs. It's been stated numerous times before that CE Valk 1st runs were either red or blueberry. All of the USDGC dyed discs were almost all white with a few yellow.

how is a picture going to help? wouldn't you know from the hotstamp? are you saying that the 2001 BG Open hotstamped CE valks had more than one run?

i've got one of the '01 ce valks from the usdgc. i'm pretty sure it's not a blueberry. looks and feels like one of the later, clearer runs. rather light, but it's blue!

Has anyone else experienced delays in shipping times because of the holiday season? A buyer is waiting for an item I sent two weeks ago. Another buyer mailed me a payment which I have yet to receive, at least a week and a half.

Not really. How did you send it? If you send First Class then yeah it can take awhile. That is why I always ship priority mail w/ confirmation.

I have noticed that it has taken a little longer than normal for my discs to arrive. I figure it has to do with the holidays.

I've found for some reason a business that receives mail on saturday from USPS, but is not open for business at that time, does not get the courtesy of a monday delivery like the rest of the year... they just mark it refused and send it back... what a flippin CROCK OF CRAP USPS! :mad:
