One of our fellow members had an unfortunate accident this week. Jason Stamm PDGA# 20614 was injured in the eye. From what we know he was assembling an entertainment center; he went to hit the a screw with a hammer to get it started. Once he did that the screw flipped back and stuck into his eye just above his Iris. Obviously a freak accident and a painful one at that.

He has to get his Iris reattached and he is completely blind beside light in his left eye right now. He has cataract surgery on Tuesday. Please include him in your prayers and hope all the best. I also need to mention that he was between jobs and does not have insurance so we are trying to raise any amount of money to help him out.

Once he did that the screw flipped back and stuck into his eye just above his Iris. Obviously a freak accident and a painful one at that.

I won an auction for some NFL football tickets a few months ago, and moved residences since then. I have since changed and confirmed my address in both eBay and PayPal. The guy who is selling me the tickets is insisting that he must "send all tickets to the confirmed address you sent with your paypal payment."

I'm worried that if he sends them to my prior address, it will not get forwarded to the new one. Or not in time before the game.

Anyone else get there auctions for discs removed because you had frisbee in the listing??? Wham-O removed 3 of my auctions that said frisbee in it. What a shame. I had it listed as USDGC Roc disc golf frisbee. Oh well. That sucks.

take them to court. Whamo is still doing this since they technically still hold the patent on the word Frisbee, the only reason they still hold it is that they have never been to court over it. Frisbee has fallen in as a common term and there claim to the word will be void as soon as someone takes them to court and challenges it.

Can you immagine showing a picture of two people playing catch on the beach with a non whamo disc asking 25 people what they are doing? 25 of them will say playing with a frisbee, case closed gavel gavel e-bay here we go... They know there claim is no good a few years ago they sent cease and desist letters to several online retailers using frisbee in there website. Some of them shut up shop but most did nothing and Whamo will not pursue it becuase they know they have no leg to stand on.

Hello again!

Just wanted to post that we have opened up an Ebay Store (http://stores.ebay.com/OZDGC) for the OZaukee Disc Golf Club - we are looking to sell our Brew City plastic and a few other odds and ends. All profits from merchandise sold will immediately help with the funding of concrete tee pads and hardware for multiple pin placements along with whatever is necessary for the improvement of the Tendick Nature Park Disc Golf Course.

We are hoping that with the sales from the store that we should have enough money to have at least the short Tee pads in before the Mayhem in May of 2007 - If everything goes as planned we should have all 36 teepads in before the mayhem.
