That would be correct. However I believe the silver division in the past has paid out a combo of plastic and ca$h, so that sounds real lucrative to me. Remember your big Bulldog win? Good luck desperado.

Dr. Ethel is complaining that since the payout is a combo of ca$h and plastic in the silver division at the Seneca tourney this weekend that it shouldn't count as an event in his total. I've agreed to let him sissy out with regards to counting this as an event due to those conditions. Therefore let's all hope he does well, win$ some ca$h, and then watch him whine when he can't count it towards his season total.

Jeff,
An interesting proposition, but if I allowed him to do that, he would probably just start playing Advanced (or Intermediate when his rating dips below 915) and start racking up a collection of DX Aviars. Also I'm sure he would want to declare the value at retail price, and not the TD tourney cost. Never underestimate the actions of a truly desperate gambler.

T minus seven days until Dr. Evil's best chance at redemption this year. Next Sunday is the Loriella Challenge which was the highlight of his PDGA season last year. I've graciously agreed to attend to give him a shot at making up some ground. Of course this will likely be the final blow (http://www.corpsesforsale.com/GRAPHICS/fevamp5.jpg), and the rest of the season will just be an ongoing string of failed efforts on his part. Perhaps Rich should seek some professional help. (http://www.weeklyuniverse.com/2003/Kolchak%20poster%202.jpg)

hawkgammon
Feb 27 2006, 09:38 AM
I was basing it on the amount of PDGA points you earned as I figured that most accurately reflected the size of the field vs. your performance. You've already proven that your player rating is an empty house of cards. Payout$ tend to be a little subjective, but points awarded is a rigid formula. Also shouldn't you be able to do well on your home course? Well besides last months Ice Bowl that is. I do understand though your desire to diminish expectations at this point. Perhaps you'd be more comfortable with a bold claim along the lines of:
I, Rich Myers, vow to play all 36 holes.
If you crush his spirit this early, who will be foolish enough to bet with you next year?

The true questions here Lord Hysell are:

2. Do you truly believe that this disc will help me do so?
3. How badly do you and your sponsor want to have some of their product in Your Disc Golf Hero's bag?
I'm sure Rich will have sufficient ca$h on hand pre tourney tomorrow to purchase one or more of these discs for me if they are deemed beneficial to the cause.

the REAL season is upon us
The season ended today for Dr. Evil as he announced his withdrawl (http://www.nalsofmichigan.org/images/Happy%20Retirement.jpg) from out of state PDGA events after today's showdown.
if you think i'm just going to give up you are seriously mistaken.
Did I mention that he announced his intention (http://www.chem.arizona.edu/gallery/albums/Judys-Retirement-Party-042705/P4270002.jpg) not to play any more PDGA tourneys outside of Maryland?
hawk is in hiding until then....
After grciously agreeing to accompany Dr. Load down to Loriella today in violation of my preannounced season schedule, the only thing hiding today was Ethels smack to back up his talk.
Off we went.
Round one from the shorts saw me playing with Jimmy Stanley and Tony the math teaching Am who elected to play with the pros today. After an array of 2, 3 and 4's I end up dead even at with Jimmy three behind me, and The Load two behind Jimmy.
Scores after round one:
<font color="red">Your Disc Golf Hero </font>-54 ;)
<font color="green">Dr. Empty </font>-59
I find myself tied for seventh out of 22 or so Masters, and Rich is ahead of the Am. Rich is sweating it out at lunch realizing that he dragged me down to this event, and a decent ca$hing here would close this deal down.
Round two finds more of the same as once again Rich is four behind me, and two behind his good friend Mr. Stanley.
Round two scores:
Hawk-71 (125) :D
Rich-75 (134)
Unfortunately my disasterous string of 5-5-5 took me out of the money letting Evil off the hook, but nevertheless he suffered a devestating psychological and morale destroying blow.
On the plus side for Rich the school teachers presence enabled the good doctor/bad player from finishing DFL.
The drive home in the roller skate was amusing as Rich interviewed me regarding the principles behind the pyramid philosophy of my mold set-up. He was copiously taking notes as he will now frantically prepare for our next non-sanctioned tussle next Sunday at the Swamp.
The otherall bet figures currently stand at:
Hawk: Events-6, Total Winnings-$65, Average Winnings-$10.83
Rich: Events-6, Total Winnings-$12.50, Average Winnings-$2.08.
I think we should start calling Rich two bucks. :)

Sorry for the disappointment fan. The neck was there for the snapping, but I let it slip away. Unfortunately no ca$h is won as I, as usual, am the first guy not paid by I believe two strokes. Scores went:
Round One:
<font color="red">Your Disc Golf Hero </font>-51 :(
<font color="green">Dr. Load </font>-52 :o
This was an accomplishment of biblical greatness as I was forced to play the first round with not one, but two stoller pushing parents with the occassional outburst of under five year old crying. Meanwhile Rich strolled leisurely through the park. Fortunately my time spent touring with Rich has conditioned me to those kind of situations.
Round Two:
Hawkgammon-55 (106) ;)
Ethel-56 (108)
In round two Rich suffered both the indignity and destiny of playing with the bottom recreational player on his "card."
Another meaningless victory in the head to head battle which was a favorite stat of Rich's early on, but he doesn't mention it now. Just for the curious I believe it now stands at:
Hawk-6
Rich-1
Ummm...that would be six in a row for me. :D
Bet standings as of now:
Hawk: Events-7, Total Winnings-$65, Average Winnings-$9.29
Rich: Events-7, Total Winnings-$12.50, Average Winnings-$1.79.
Rich falls below the dreaded Mendoza line. :D
Since Rich goaded me into going to Loriella against my previously announced 2006 tour schedule, I am now returning the challenge (which I believe must in good conscience be accepted by him) and calling Rich out to attend Bluemont with me the first weekend of April. After that we'll be even on that score at least. :p

First off, James turned 4 in January and Abby will be 2 in May... NOW:
What your "Disc Golf Hero" neglected to mention was that one of the stroller pushing parents [being me] got him by a stroke on the first round, while the second stroller pushing parent [my Wife], out drove him [and well me too] on a number of holes - without the kids interaction. [Is the beginning of the end for the Hawk-meister? Out driven by my stroller-pushing wife, who has play 4 dozen-or-so times???] AND, being the other stroller pushing parent with a rating well under the so-called hero, we tied for the day. And I DID have a stroller with an under two year old for the second round Your excuse? [If Only I were 4 years old Id LOVE to get into this bet!]

leaving me hanging around could prove a mistake later.
Not if you balance that against the incredible entertainment value you're providing so many right now.

Dr. Evil shown to have overly inflated rating, once again demonstrating how he is nnothing but a house of cards.
Rich is bowing out of taking a beating this weekend, but next weekend it's back to back Saturday and Sunday tourneys. There's something for your sports fans to look forward to. Think of it not so much as a final four, but more like a final failure for Rick.
Also if anyone has an address for Tom Acklin, Richie would like to send him a thank you card.

you talk a big game for someone who has only won 50$ more than me. it's early. you are grasping at anything obviously since you are now posting results where YOU DIDN"T EVEN CASH!!!
as a matter of fact, in the last month or more i don't think you have put any cash in your pocket, thus leaving me lurking in your rearview. i think your lack of ability to close the deal and overconfidence will be your downfall.

Wow you actually used advantage and yourself in the same sentence. Do you have a fever or something? Say Rich here's a novel idea. Since this bet will be officially over by the last Monthly at the Swamp in December (I believe it's unofficially over now) why don't we make the last hurrah interesting? What I'm proposing is in line with your claim that you could show up with four discs and beat me coupled with my claim that I could beat you using your discs. Here's my suggestion: We each play with three DX discs. The catch is that we provide each other with the discs we have to use. Think of it as RIPT to the extreme. So I purchase for you (I don't trust you with my actual plastic for obvious reasons) one DX driver, one DX midrange, and one DX putter, and you do the same for me. We get to pick which molds the other has to use, and we present them to one another the morning of the tourney to limit practice. Are you man enought to accept this challenge? :D
Dick
Mar 27 2006, 02:53 PM
i'd be down with the mid and the putter, but i can think of some really crappy drivers i want no part of, ESPECIALLY in dx. i think we just need to switch bags.

I think i heard on the weather channel the forcast for saturday was an evil win chilling out hawk's oversized ego and below average control game, with cash going into evil's pocket and narrowing the small gap in the race. and then a repeat beating for hawk on sunday.
Here's who is in for Saturday:
Masters
Hawk Corrick 911
Chris Hysell 974
Mark Jackson 944
John Manzione 909
Rich Myers 921
Mark Sherwood 940
Jimmy Stanley 911
Now to ca$h on Saturday you'll need to make the final four and then finish in the top three. You can't beat Hysell. It doesn't look like you can beat Jackson. You have about a 10% chance of beating Mr. Sherwood. You haven't beaten me since the second week of January (and had your worse loss of the season last time out) and you lost to Stanley at Loriella. Just to make it an even sweep I'm saying Manzione is a 60-40 favorite to beat you.
As for going back to back with a win on Sunday everyone knows you have no endurance or stamina. Your wife confirms this.

<font color="green"> Could Dr. Evil Repeat His 12 Stroke Domination of Your Disc Golf Hero at Bluemont, and Also Get Some Much Needed Ca$h? </font>
<font color="red"> Or Does Your Disc Golf Hero Continue To Humiliate Rich With A Seventh Consecutive Victory, and Possible Ca$h? </font>
After procuring some breakfast (http://www.honeydewdonuts.com/nutrition/BostonCream.jpg) for the evil one, we met at the house that evil built and headed for Bluemont under skies thick with the threat of rain. Upon arriving at the course Rich begins a complete reshuffling of his bag abandoning the brilliance of the pyramid philosophy in favor of some other concept involving Beasts, Stingrays, Cobras, JK Aviars, the Mojo and so forth. There will be a complete briefing by Rich of his current bag set-up at 2300 hours and an updating of such in his profile. Tell your friends. :DAfter signing in we head out to warm-up by throwing some holes. On his first throw from a tee with no practice putts Rich aces the 9th hole with his funky dyed Beast! :cool:Could this be a sign of things to come? ;) After the draw I'm teamed up with the glamour card of Gangloff, Kim, Turner, and Liddel, while Rich is playing with some other people. At the completion of the first round Tom "Dub" Kim has set a new course record shooting a 39! :cool:Rich and I end up tied with 48's. A vast improvement from my performance last year.
In round two Rich and I are carded with local legend Mark Jackson, The Glove, and international sex symbol Chris Hysell. The pairing of Hysell and myself causes quite a stir, and the present media gather around and we set off among an explosion of light bulbs. Rich and I are essentially playing for the last spot in the final four with a hope of finishing third in the group and getting some money. Behind us by one stroke are Rich's personal nemesis Mr. Stanley, and four strokes back is Mr. Sherwood. Rich eases out to a three stroke lead over the first nine holes as expected as the favorite. On our 12th hole I find myself well short with a long 200' turnover approach to the island pin which is surrounded by OB creek. Taking the disc (http://www.innovadiscs.com/discs/championCoyote.html) that Rich hates the most I announce I am going for the hail mary (http://www2.jsonline.com/packer/arc/image/811/hail811.jpg) and land 5' from the pin! :cool:Rich loses a stroke. On the next tee I drive far up the hill, and a clearly rattled Rich hits an early OB tree and falls into the OB creek. :DHe takes a circle six to my four, and we're tied. ;) On the next hole we both go OB left, but my superior recovery shot gives me a circle four to Rich's circle five. :D The collapse is on. From there Rich melts like a stick of butter on a beautiful woman, and the final damage is:
Your Disc Golf Hero-110 :)
Dr. Empty-114 :(
It appears that I am on my way into the final nine where I will be trying to make up seven strokes in nine holes in a seemingly futile attempt at ca$h when word comes that Mr. Sherwood playing with the Am's has caught fire and passes me to finish at 109! :o
Bet standings as of now:
Hawk: Events-8, Total Winnings-$65, Average Winnings-$8.13

or did i actually plan on teaching you a disc golf lesson?
Calvert Monthly:
i wasn't in hawk's group, so i won't bother with an extensive write up, as i have no head to head adventures. first round i played ok, only 1 under on the back nine, but working to 4 under on the back and 5 under overall which left em tied for the lead. i watched our disc golf loser miss the mando on 17 and he limped in with a 60 for an 11 stroke lead by the master of evil!
for lunch we had my regular chipolte carnitas( lunch is important to us evil doers!) and headed back to the course. hawk insisted that i had no chance of beating el prex who i was tied for the lead with, that my best hope was to hold on for 2nd or 3rd place cash. i told him i was going to win.
second round i was hanging stroke for stroke with boyce-a -matic, even grabbing a lead on a bad putt on 10, until i missed the mando on hole 11 almost hitting longtime legend ragnar in the head. oops, circle 5 to boyce's 3, and now i'm a stroke behind. meanwhile hawk is signaling to me that george is 6 down and smoking me like a cigar. yeah, good luck with that. re-focusing on my game plan, i am dealt another blow when boyce parks 13 and i can only manage a 3. i focus again and bid for a duece on 16. got it! 17 i barely miss another. on 18 a couple is picnicing in the right fairway, so i try a roller. griplocked it right into the ground, but it had alot on it and it rolls a good way down and curls back into the fairway. mark goes around the tree and hits the root of anither making his way all the way over to 11's tee! then he slips on his disc leaving him short and he approaches and gets up and down from there. i approach and leave it 30 short or so, but can the putt to make up a stroke. for a one stroke lead. we match our way the rest of the way through 5 with me unable to can a couple bird putts to put him away and mark doing his best to avoid looking dangerous. mac was languishing well behind with a hurt back. on 6 mark hits the mando tree and wa salyig pretty much on the mando line. tie to the player, but he is in a bad way and takes a 4. again i fail to can a 20 footer to leave the door open, but do stretch the lead to 2. on our last hole, 7, i go wide and safe right to the gap with a nice throw. mark goes for broke with a roller and almost gets it there, but a tree nick slows it down leaving him with a 40+ for duece. he barely misses, while i easily get up and down for the even round and the win.
hawk slinks away tied for last, but nt quite dfl, as i have convinced him, dfl means you are the lone ranger of last. tied for last isn't quite as bad as dfl.
Bet standings as of now:
Rich: Events-9, Total Winnings-$72.50, Average Winnings-$8.05
Hawk: Events-9, Total Winnings-$65, Average Winnings-$7.22
game on!.

Naturally The Load left out the most important part...that he won $60 dragging his sorry game back into the bet.
Lesson learned today-If the stars all magically line up Rich can win:
I have a disaster (http://www.andrew.cmu.edu/user/mpj/Titanic.jpg) round of epic proportions spotting him 11 strokes.
El Fold fails to put him away.
Mac (who has been consistently solid all season) shows up with a bad back.
My designated assassin George, who got to five down to put some pressure on Evil, closes with 4-4-2-4 and then has a little difficulty (http://growabrain.typepad.com/growabrain/images/plane_crash.jpg) on his 18th hole.
Rich also failed to mention that we shot the same 54 in the second round once again proving that I won't go away. The fans wanted this to be a competition again so here we are. It only took him three months to get back to where we started on January 1st.

I understand Dr. Evil will be hosting a session in the chatroom this evening at 2300 hours east coast time to discuss his latest bag line-up. He bought some new Star Valkyries yesterday, and was mumbling about old CE ones in the line at Chipoltes. There could be breaking bag news. I was busy scoping out the staff.

In a brilliant tactical move Dr. Evil opts not to play at today's Patapsco Punisher which lived up to it's name, and simply performed his TD duties. I, as usual, was first not paid. This tournament saw 22% of the first round participants drop out prior to, or during the second round which might be a PDGA record. Needless to say the combination of rain, wind and Patapsco (coupled with the fortitude of your typical disc golfer) caused this amazing attrition rate.

somehow, i firmly believe that this latest message bored crash is attributable to hawk attempting to destroy record of his impending defeat.
The weather is nice in Oregon, so I assume it's also nice in Maryland. With the disc golf season nigh on full swing, it begs the question: How goes the grand challenge? all i can say is that i finished. and i beat hawk. our scores were awful, but the basics are, i took a 5 stroke lead in round 1, gave back four in long to c second round , picked up 1 while falling to the mullet group and gave hawk a personal pounding the last round, even though i kept giving him glimmers of hope with my poor play.
hawk found a LOVELY way to pay the bet off, so i am tempted to not count it against the total for bet purposes... <font color="red"> </font>

i have another funny camera guy story...
first shot round 3 on #9 i griplock my disc straight into the trees on the left but miraculously it hits a tree and pops back out to the fairway 40-50 feet in front of the tee! so the camera guy is way down on the right pin high. i state that i hope i don't hit him as i plan on going that way. a chorus of snickers from my group followed. i proceed to snap off the perfect forehand roller zooming down the fairway. i again yell to the guy to watch out. he proceeds to run right into the path of the disc and somehow manages to jump over it, camera and all, while my dissc curls around deep right behind that tree and nestles up to the pin for the easy 3! lucky that guy can jump! :D

This was the event on the schedule that I feared you had the biggest potential to do damage in. Letting the Course Pro come back to tie you, coupled with you collapsing and tying (hi there ;)) for second worse round shot after halftime is an obvious failure on your part at your home course. Whipping out the 'ole TD excuse is also soft as you apparently didn't let it bother you last season when you came in third beating your favorite (http://www.pdga.com/tournament/playerstats.php?PDGANum=1288&year=2006) disc golfer who happened to win the event this season. Hmmmm....
I didn't use the DX Coyote yesterday. Maybe I'll whip it out on you today. I suspect that after you gorge yourself at Chipolte during halftime on my dime, that you'll likely fall asleep on one of the benches about halfway through the second round.
So whats the next event on the schedule men ?

<font color="green"> The Load Tries To Go 2 For 2 This Weekend @ The Swamp </font>
<font color="red"> What's A Disc Golf Hero To Do? </font>
A sparser gathering than usual greeted YDGH and Dr. Evil at
Calvert (http://mamadudes.com/Quickstart/ImageLib/swamp.jpg) this morning as many of the locals were exhausted from yesterday's Rockburn effort or in West Virginia (http://dobhran.nbci.com/images/westvirginia.jpg) for a fashion show. (http://www.lsrc.info/lsrc/albums/Cross-Dressing-Social-05/Cross_dressing_social_039.jpg) Arriving earlier than The Load  I opted to dress for a fight (http://www.imperialweapons.com/oriental/uniforms/ninja.jpg) as did Rich. (http://militarysurplusstore.com/catalog/city-camo-bdu-pants.jpg) Please note Rich's outfit was approximately twice the size represented here.
Warming up I continued to perfect my new putting stroke while Rich was having a late breakfast. (http://harroldelem.k12.sd.us/elementary/caitlyn/homer%20eating%20donut.gif) We also warmed up with Rich working (http://masturbating-man.testforfree.com/masturbating%20man.png) his Goblin while I tossed (http://www.coolpoolguy.com/domes/assets/Tossing_salad640_small.jpg) around my DX Coyote.
Round one found me teamed up with TD SilverWolf and GM Honn on the coveted #1 tee. Membership (http://www.raptapes.net/images/DJ_Kay_Slay-Celebrity_Status-2005.jpg?osCsid=6fe587e7cfc6403423a6bbf0d287c724) has privileges. ;) Rich was off somewhere else. A series of good putts and botched putts found me at 54 (http://www.gayvideodad.com/images/2.boxes/9852.even.steven.jpg) at the end of the first round while Rich came in with a 53. (http://www.br2811.demon.co.uk/EmsCh/MinusOne.jpg) We're three and four respectively behind Shannon (http://www.pdga.com/tournament/playerstats.php?PDGANum=21288) who returned to me a blue Leopard prior to the round which he recovered on #8 Rockburn yesterday which I lost way deep and right sometime last year. Thanks Big Guy! :) Five players in the Masters field means that three of us will be paid. In fourth is fellow Country Club pro George (http://www.pdga.com/tournament/playerstats.php?PDGANum=11288) and some other guy. In essence Rich and I are trying to:
1. Catch Shannon
2. Hold off George
3. Humiliate one another
After a brief side trip to Moe's for lunch, and Rich misidentifying my lunchtime medication (http://www.uky.edu/Pharmacy/faculty/kuhn/formulary/group8/aleve.jpg) as Viagra (hmmm... /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif) we head off with Shannon to settle the day's debate. Can YDGH pull it out again? :D
Rich moves up to a three stroke lead or so over the first nine holes or so as I putz around. Shannon moves ahead of us mocking us with his drives with his pink Wraith as he deuces #7  with a park job. Things begin to turn for the Fisherman (http://www.springvalleytroutfarm.com/fisherman.jpg) on #11 when Dr. Spaz takes a four while the new putting stroke enables me to make a nice long save for the three. On #13 The Load yanks right while I park the pin for a deuce for a two stroke swing. A series of birdies for each of us ensue until...#17!!!! Rich whispers to me about fearing the mando as this is where I botched it last month. Rich steps up and drives right into the mando tree and kicks right. He's still safe, but not in a happy place. (http://fleece4you.com/images/Happy_people_2_-205x193.jpg) I tee off with the Champion Coyote and curl lovingly towards the basket. Rich steps up and apparently attempting a putter roller slams his Omega SuperSoft (hmmm...is this the root of the Viagra confusion) into the mando tree where it spurts forward missing the mando! :oWho misses the mando on their second shot? :D Trudging back to the tee Rich drives and lands his fourth stroke well short and then ups and in for his circle six. :mad:Meanwhile I convert my deuce putt for a four stroke swing on one hole. :cool:With three holes to go I'm up three for the tourney. My strategy is to just play it safe and make him beat me figuring I have at least the tie locked down. On #18 I play it overly safe, and combo a mediocre drive with a bad approach ending in a four to Rich's three. :( Rich bombs his drive on #1 and converts the deuce while I take the safe three. On the final hole we both bomb the basket, and my longer deuce putt hits right side chains (that's supposed to go in right?) but tumbles out  while Rich makes another deuce to salvage some respect with a tie. We each walk away with $22.50.
Current bet standings:
The Load: Events-12, Total Winnings-$107.50, Average Winnings-$8.96
Your Disc Golf Hero: Events-13, Total Winnings-$87.50, Average Winnings-$6.73

No worries fan. We're not even at the halfway point, and the heavily (pun intended) favored Dr. Load is still within sight. Think of me as a cat playing with a stunned mouse. Admittedly a bloated mouse, okay maybe more like a rat. Okay perhaps a beaver.

i think hawk was just laughing so hard at my play on hole 17 he couldn't get his breath back for the last 3 holes! :D
Clearly that would be the only way he would falter so poorly.
Not your fault Hawk. I am sure anyone else watching Dr. Loads debacle was having a difficult time containg themselves as well.
Keep up with the plan of not doing anything, and wait for Dr. Load to blow up late in the tournament.

Thanks fan. If Dr. Load comes up to Codorus on Saturday I'm anticipating a frenzied hacking on the new cross country holes which could reach a new level of disc golf entertainment.

and if you thought my debacle on 17 was funny, the look on hawk's face when he missed his birdie putt on 2(our last hole) was priceless.

Those baskets are clearly defective. I'm not sure you can describe what happened as a miss since I hit the chains rather squarely. It was more like a mechanical failure.

<font color="purple">It Was The Best Of Times, It Was The Worse Of Times </font>
I ended up chauffering Shannon up to Codorus on Saturday as The Load ended up working until 0200 Saturday morning. It's tough when you have to spend so much time keeping your employees (http://www.streetsofatlanta.com/soa1/050.jpg) in line.
Having practiced at Codorus three times this year in preparation for this event I ended up throwing (and rolling) some of my best tourney shots ever including the much talked about field par from 200+ feet out on a blind shot on cross country #9. Also the new putting stroke is very successful. Unfortunately there were some fours and fives to go with the semi standard circle six on red #15 and my CTP deuce which Dean edged me out for by three inches on cross country #5. The first round ended with me in a three way tie for fifth at 70 behind the lead card on which the last place person had a five stroke lead on the three of us.
Round two mission:
1. Win card
2. Hope Mr. 65 falls apart and shoots six strokes worse than me.
Starting off on the x-holes I appear to have claimed another CTP on x hole #6 which actually stood up for the rest of the day netting me a big bag of assorted coffee! Of couse I don't drink coffee but some of my staff (http://www.sleepingteen.com/image/samples/sexy_secretary_002.jpg) at work does, so they should be happy. Of course this was followed up with the standard fours and fives and a spectacular double circle seven on blue #1. My drive hyzers into the left side road OB, but nicely down the fairway distance wise. Okay a circle five. As we are walking up Clint goes:
I've seen so many people go OB twice on this hole.
I scoff and explain that I intend to throw far right, and let the ThunderBird fade left for a long approach and putt for my circle five. I wind up and hyzer left over the left hand road for my second OB. I managed to string together some deuces during this second round debacle en route to my round worse 72 which left me tied for last with Carl. Everyone else shot in the mid 60's and the lead foursome stayed the lead foursome and took home the $.
Post tourney conversation with TD Jay:
J: Thanks for coming as always my Disc Golf Hero.
H: #$*&$! you. #$*&$! your courses.
J: I'm glad you had a good time.
H: You suck. Your courses suck.
J: Your shot on #9 cross country is the talk of the tourney.
H: I hope wildfires sweep through here.
J: See you next time.
H: Die.
Current bet standing:
The Load: Events-12, Total Winnings-$107.50, Average Winnings-$8.96
Your Disc Golf Hero: Events-14, Total Winnings-$87.50, Average Winnings-$6.25

I can barely see what is in the pic because of the glare off somebody's legs....it's blinding. Nice "daisy-dukes".

Now is it my fault that I'm not spending three hours a week in a tanning bed like my bench mates here? Think of it as an advertisement for sunscreen. Also note the chiseled musculature of my calfs compared to Mr. Scrawny. If you had pistons like these you wouldn't be wearing NBA shorts either.

Ha! Tanning bed my arse. That is the result of 10 very expensive and beautiful days on the beach in Kiawah the week before and a trip to Arizona earlier in spring. Well okay, maybe a little bit of a tanning bed to keep it up :D, but I think well worth it. I mean com'n without it I'd be looking like you ;)
