anyone have an idea what a 9x KC Eagle is worth brand new?

Luke, The 9X was originaly made with the ring stamp (like a 9X Roc). It is worth at least $25 but KC plastic is still going up. The Yellow ones are real pretty with a rainbow stamp. I'm thinking at least $30 for those.

The last 9X Eagles had a bar type stamp like a 10X Eagle and 10X Roc. They will go between 20 and 25. Only seen white in the bar stamp.

Bdog, congrats on the ace. Don't retire it. It's your fav disc and you know just what it does. When you get a pile of retired discs, you'll be ready to throw them and half of them will be out of style.

In the condition you describe, this is not a collector disc. I bet you can get about $50 for it on eBay, which is not a bad deal anyway...

A while back Discraft did a test run of Rubber Rattlers. The discs were promotional and used at some discraft video shoots. Now I just love the old school feel of the Rattler, but find the "D" plastic a bit too stiff, so I'm trying to track one of these Rubber Rattlers down to see if it is softer in the hand. I have written Discraft, Scott Poppa, and Mark Ellis with no luck yet. Although Scott did think Mark has a few hidden in his garage that he won't get rid off. Here's where I need the help. I am not a PDGA member so I can't post on their forums and was hoping one of you who posts on those boards could post on my behalf. I'm hoping for a little national exposure to my preceived need. Hook, The SP was going pretty high ( $50 and up ) just a few years ago. Somewhere around 2002-2003 they were run again in a very sweet plastic with some original stamps. I think you can still get those for about $10. I said all that to say, The price went down when availability went up. I have seen some originals go for $30 recently.

I have a couple of 1st run Crushes but they are not green. I also have a couple of 1st run Teerexs. Set me up with some styling plastic and I might trade. Mucho Champion Edition ROCs, Leopards, Eagles, ETC going up for auction tonight including a PRIME/MINT 177 2001 ROC, 2003 Graffitti ROC, 2003 Chicken ROC, and a BATTLE ROC. I've accumulated many used CE Leopards and will most likely NEVER have a use for the three MINT ones I have. I have three MINT CE Leopards, all second and third run... two are the 2nd Run CE Roc Yellow color one with a Gold hot stamp, one with a rainbow hot stamp. Both 175. I have a 3rd run bright orange with a green hotstamp @175. All three discs are bagged and ready to go. I have been stockpiling these for a long time, and with 6 used ones, I don't need them all that much. I've also picked up a bunch of the star leopards... but they're DEFINITELY NOT the same.

what do you guys think a pair of nightshift Teebirds would go for?

The only nightshift I have ever heard of was done with some orcs.

Supposedly the mistake is what we now know as special blend.

the ones I have are dark blue with a gold champ stamp and opaque and much grippier than champ

I understand but the term nightshift was associated with a run of Orcs, that were done on the nighshift. They became very desired but I have never heard of anything other than an Orc being a nightshift. ;)

the proto star has the champ stamp. I thought they called those nightshift as well

Most of the "Proto" Star Teebirds were black'ish and came with a gold or silver foil champion stamp on them. They are considered star plastic though...not night shift. And you might be lucky to get $20-$25 out of them.

All the 150g SOLF are white... you may find a 160g yellow. The Millennium OLFs are only down to 160g for now, and there may be a yellow, but not for sure... you may have to dye them to get yellows. Good luck!
