I started to organize a few people that had been scammed by Jeff a couple of weeks ago. I was in for over $100 for a basket and some other stuff...

I recieved an email from Jeff last week that said I needed to call the UPS Store in TX, and that I needed to pay for the shipment. It wasn't our initial agreement, but oh well. I got a box, but pieces are missing.

I'm filing mail fraud charges as soon as I get things settled with UPS.

The best way to get ahold of Jeff is to email him, text message his phone number (look at his website - search Google for Drop Zone Disc Golf), or have someone knock on his head....I mean door.

He's a real piece of crap, and a liar. He's given me tons of excuses, and all have been out and out lies. He apparently has some connections with Gateway, and also with Millienium. I'd start barking up those trees if I had connections there...

I hope everyone gets their stuff - this guy overextended himself, got a quick reputation of being a good seller, and then burned everyone who's check was in the mail.

Interesting! I was supposed to get three midnight buzzes as well! Unfortunately, it appears I am not the only one who hasn't received merchandise. Actually, in yesterday's mail I recieved a USPS inquiry response notice that shows a "Jeff Neal" cashed my USPS money order in Mansfield Texas on the 17th of March. On the 23rd, he responded to an email saying it hadn't got there yet and that's the last I heard from him!!!

Considering I am one of the other persons he promised the midnight buzzes to, I am inclined to agree with dickybird. It also does not explain why he cashed my postal money order on 3/17 and then emailed me on 3/23 to tell me it had not arrived yet. I have kept a record of all our email correspondence as well as documentation from the postal service.

Jeff, if you want make it right by me, just send me back a USPS money order in the exact same amount that I sent to you; $26. I'm not interested in the merchandise anymore, but if you make good on my $26, I will then consider our issue resolved in a satisfactory manner.

I emailed him on Monday (5/1) and have received ZERO response. No wonder he stated he wasn't coming back to the thread, it is easier to ignore us individually! AND he doesn't have to operate in an open forum for everyone to see! It has become apparent that Jeff Neal has NO intention of rectifying the situation. Despite one or two people getting their merchandise (channelz & EZ_DISC, apparently), the fact that Jeff sold the same items to two or three different people implies that he intended to deceive from the get go. He certainly is doing NOTHING to indicate otherwise.

Russ3523, just to let you know, later today I plan on filling out a Mail Fraud Complaint Form as you referred to in a previous post. I hope EVERYONE who got shafted by Mr. Neal follows suit...

He didn't say he'd reply to confirm hearing from us (although he should). He didn't say he'd confirm that we are on the refund list (although he should). He DID say that, "I will get you a refund sent this next week".

I'm not sure if "this next week" means 1st-5th or 8th-12th. However, with 3 days delivery, max (unlike the 5 days it took my MO to get 200 miles there), I should have my refund in hand by 5-15-06.

I'm sorry, I actually believe him again.

He appears to be tapped, and I've yet to see any evidence of him spending ANY of the money that we paid him to correct this situation. If 1 person get's satisfied with a refund, then there is reason to hold out hope. But until then...

I just bought a pair of Bite sandals and they are a little too big for me. I thought they would be ok and wore them for a round of disc golf but they are indeed too big. So I'm stuck with them now. Took the suggestion posted in this thread to wait until the 15th of this month; I still haven't seen or heard a darn thing from our rip-off artist. I've been way too busy with the end of school and grading final exams to pursue further. Soon as I get a chance, I will fill out the mail fraud form. Has anybody else taken action yet?

Just submitted the following on the USPS Mail Fraud form:

I paid $26.00 USD to Jeff Neal for three disc golf discs (including shipping). He cashed my postal money order on March 17th, 2006 according to the results of my PS Form 6401 Money Order Inquiry. He subsequently lied (via email) about receiving the money order (on March 23rd) and has failed to deliver the purchased merchandise or refund my money. Since that time, Jeff Neal has ignored repeated attempts to contact him. According to internet message boards at www.pdga.com (http://www.pdga.com), there are at least 3-4 other people who have had a similar poor experiences with Jeff Neal and/or Drop Zone Disc Golf. If necessary, I can produce my receipt for the postal money order, the results of my PS Form 6401 Money Order Inquiry, and my entire email correspondence with this individual.

Thank you for you time and consideration.

Here's what I just submitted....

"This occured on the Professional Disc Golf Association website within the discusion board (http://www.pdga.com/msgboard). Jeff Neal (user name Drop_Zone_Disc_Golf) offered a bunch of golf discs for sale on 03/13/2006. I contacted him immediately and agreed to buy 3 of the discs, each costing $7 plus $5 for shipping ($26 total). I mailed him a postal money order (09454388321) on 03/14/2006. He acknowledged receipt of the payment and claims to have sent the merchandise. I never received anything. Based on dialogues within the disccusion board, it appears that Mr. Neal sold the same merchandise to several different people, most of whom have received nothing. This pattern was just not limited to the 3 discs that I and others thought they bought; he sold other items using the same deceptive tactics. I do not know how much money is involved, but it is in the hundreds of dollars and perhaps more. Mr. Neal has acknowledged that he was at fault and promised to refund peoples money. I have received not received a refund. I seriously doubt I will, and I believe that Mr. Neal purposely committed fraud."

Jeff had approached me about running an event in Cedar Hill, Texas. Originally I had agreed to it but right from the start, we were having issues. I advised him a couple of months ago that this tournament is not approved to be held in Cedar Hill. He may still be having this event somewhere (The location was not mentioned in Titledisc), but it is certainly not going to be in Cedar Hill.

JEFF NEAL is a SCAM artist. he finally agreed to send me my money of course it took some early morning of the hours calls, and quess what he sent me was some certificates for 20% off merchandise from a disc golf co. he also sent me some certificates that were to be used for sponsoring a tourney he was supposed to be running in TEXAS and the comapany will not honor them. so im still out my $90. First of all I�m going to explain everything here. You can take it or leave it�

At one time I was really into disc golf. It was all I wanted to do! So, I decided to build my own golf course on my land. Someone stole half of my brand new baskets. I was out almost 2 grand. I did everything that I could to get those baskets back to no avail. Then Innova wouldn�t take the other baskets back that I bought from them. I spent my entire savings of $4000 on this course, and pretty much lost everything. I tried to set up a local tournament to help my with my loss because everything that I had was gone. I thought since the disc golf community was so great that they would all be there for me. Boy was I #$*&$! wrong, especially since one or more of you people stole my life savings! I was also selling gear online. I made over 75 deals on this board that went very well.

Very fast I had the mindset that I was going to get my money back no matter what I had to do to get it! So, then came the last sale that I had. I sold some of the stuff to 2 different people without paying attention to what I was doing. When people started sending me email telling me that they never received what they paid for, I really didn�t care. I thought that they could take the loss just like I did. That was very wrong on my part, and I apologize! The money that I did make went to my attorney to try to get the money back from the guys that I expected. It went nowhere, and I lost more money! So then I decided that I wasn�t paying anyone back for anything! Once again, that was a bad mistake on my part!

Since this has all happened I have had to put my house up for sale and move into an apartment in Arlington. This is absolute BS. Disc Golf has #$*&$! my life up!

I�m not telling you guys any of this to make you feel sorry for me, because I really couldn�t care less! I could have ran for the hills and not paid anyone back! There would have been nothing that any of you could have done about it! I have been in the same situation with a bunch of people filing fraud charges against someone that ripped us off. Yeah, they will file the claims, but that�s all!

This has been bothering me for a while now. You guys didn�t do anything to me, even though I blamed you all because you are part of the disc golf community that ripped me off. This was very wrong of me, and I�m going to pay each and every one of you back!

I don't see where anyone made you lose your house. From your explination, you are the only one responsible for the bad decisions that you made. Eventually paying everyone back is the right step to take. Starting over is hard but sometimes the best thing in the long run.

UPS knows the whole story, but I'll give it to you also.

There was a hole in the side of the box upon arrival. One of the two poles for the DB-5 was missing. The manager at theTX UPS Store opened up the box, with my permission, before sending it off to me. I asked him to do this, because I wasn't sure if you were actually sending my stuff to me, or if it was a pile of bricks smeared with dog poo. He told me what was inside, and noted 2 poles. I've contacted Lightning, and have a replacement pole already. The problem is, that pole needs to be paid for. That's why I filed the claim with UPS. They've already been at my house, picked up the old packaging for inspection.

I sent the guy at the TX UPS Store an invoice yesterday. Also spoke with him over the phone.

Its like the Minor League to the UFC. Its where everyone starts out, and then hopes to be seen by people from the UFC�

I fought 10 matches. I stopped after my last fight because a guy named Frank Trigg broke my jaw. I had to have a pin put in over a year ago. The last step was to have my wisdom tooth pulled and the molar next to it. This happened a few months ago. That�s when I became addicted to the Loratab.

For anyone that lives in Texas, there is a big MMA thing going on at the Frisco Stars Center on the 24th of this month.

I have a clear flat top z buzz Mocasin Open Trophy Disc. This sucka is so flat the flight plate looks almost collapsed. Its not 1st run it says buzz on the inside rim. Need to find more in case I lose my baby. I've held it up to 1st run and midnight buzzez and its flatter. I'm thinking I got a freak disc but hopefully not. Who's got some to sell/trade? :cool:

I have a 179g-180g '01 Roc that I am looking to sell.

I bought it used and have used it some myself. It is still overstable/stable. It has my name and the name of the previous owner marked out(the guy I bought it from was the previous owner). It is still in great condition and it has Ken Climo's signature still visible on the disc.

I don't want to part with this disc, but I need some funds for my honeymoon that I will be going on in a few weeks.

I already have an offer of $100 from a local. I just want to see what I can get for it on here.

Does anyone have a new or used Skill Shot that they are wanting to trade/sell? I recently taught a disc golf class at a 4H camp in West Virginia and one of the campers loved the game. That camper also happens to be my nephew (age 12) and he wants to play more. The problems are there is no course near his hometown and he has a very small yard . My wife and I are trying to find one for him at a reasonable price that maybe we can get for him. He has said he really likes throwing his disc and wants to play more. He also said that playing makes him happy so I want to try and help him out. If anyone has one that they are not using or want to get rid of, let me know what you want for it and what conditions it is in. Thanks fellow golfers.
