Someone please help me understand the hype about an 11X Tbird. I love TBirds, have a CE and a 10X blend in my bag. Have a Champion and a CFR glow TB in my stock.

I have never thrown a 11X. Are they worth more than $20 and why? I could possibly get more than one in a trade for some very nice collectable Frisbees. How much are they worth? What do I need to look for?

Where did you get a 02' worlds video?



DiscTV....got the 02 USDGC as well....

Mick: The 11x Proline Teebirds have the old Proline Stamp and to me they seem to be a different plastic than the later Champion Teebirds. They seem to be a little more stable as well, but I don't know for sure...
I like them a lot and even have 12 of them. I like them Better than the champion teebirds and more than the 10x or CE..

The club in Alma, Ar is expanding thier course and upgrading their equipment. They are selling 9 Innova Discatcher Sport (http://www.innovadiscs.com/discatcher/sport.html) baskets. These baskets have been in the ground less than a year and are in excellent condition.

The ones I have arent that stable. I threw my farthest drives with Starfire X's last summer. Matter of fact though, mine were in glow plastic which would have made them more stable. Nice flat line about 550-575 a few times......shoot...I need to go order a few for this year's season!

Not sure what you mean by Poppy-Top but I have 2 Glow Rocs. 1 has the GLO star stamp (176 grams) and the other has the Innova Swoosh stamp (180 grams). Both mint.

I know exactly what you're talking about. Old Glow Rocs are sooo flat, but the new poppy tops suck I3alls. They changed the font/lettering in the swoosh as well.

1 has the GLO star stamp (176 grams) mint.

For me the 176g is a bit too light. That why I didn't respond right way. I'm still hunting for some of the 'older' glow rocs. Just don't like the new DX plastic that much. I'm still looking for about 3-6 of these Rocs(178-180g glow Roc non poppy top)... let me know if anyone has any!

Kelly, I currently own two clear 05 rocs and one ice 05 roc. At least thats how zonedriven sold them to me. I can't tell a lot of difference between the three though. All three have a slight (very slight) pigment to them. Were there any perfectly clear 05 rocs made? I'd like to see how mine compare to the other "clear" rocs.

I recently went to an ice bowl and got to pick a disc with my entry. There was a disc in the pile that said " 171 Discraft Test 1-31-05" It appears to be a Venom in the grippy Pro D plastic. It is double stamped and has the misprint stamp on the inside. I touch it a lot.

My went off 2 weeks ago for $65. The reason they fetch more than a normal CFR Starfire is that this was the 1st run of the retooled Starfire. It was also intially only available at the USDGC as part of thier player's packages.

There is more of a problem with misinformation on Ebay rather than gullible buyers. ie...evry blue CE Valk has now become the 1st run bluberry, every CE disc is rare although there are usually another few dozen for sale at the same time just like it.
Sellers use "rare" & "one of a kind" in every description no matter wat they sell. And there are some dishonest folks that just try to take advantage of the lack of information.

Then there's just the PT Barnum throwback, "a sucker born every minute".

Well, I had 8, and was going to keep 3, but now all 8 are sold.

I'm sure I'll buy some more stuff -- did all the E-Elements go? Never thrown one and if the plastic is the same as the E-Wizards they must be worth trying.

I'm assuming that "midnight" Wizards are black. Black just doesn't make any sense to me but more Wizards are good even if they're black.

My only real Gateway experience is with the Wizard. The proto Wizards are silly -- they're the best disc I've ever thrown. I have a glow E Wizard that I can't stand to let get more than 10 - 12 feet from me. A Wizard is the only disc that I'll turn around and go back home for. I've never seen an element. What is the difference between an X and a E element. I assume the S element is like the regular old "DX" Gateway plastic. . . . .??

poisonelf, Be careful not to buy an Ontario Hammer unless that's what you want. Both Ontario and San Marino are large diameter (up to 180). Both have large Hammerhead Shark Stamp. The molds are very different and they fly very different. The Sannie is like a straight Roc. The O is really overstable and I find it uncomfortable in hand like a Griffen.

Thanks for the heads up on the mold variation...the one I have now is the san marino...i'd love to pick up a bunch of each.

That's a cool site... A friend of mine has a CE Roc with a stamp on it that wasn't released to the public as far as my knowledge goes. It is an x-out though so that might be why the stamp wasn't released...but I have never seen another one with this stamp on it. I will see if I can get a pic of it and post it here for you guys.

The stamp is about 2 inches by 3 inches and on the top it, it says 2005 USDGC then three lines and then it say Winthrop and and there is a flag coming out of the "D" of the USDGC and it says Innova on the flag.

Sounds like the Flagstick stamp.

I am wondering if it was supposed to be the original flagstick stamp and got replaced by the one that was released to the public?! Not a clue. I talked to him last night and he said he would bring it out to our local tourney this weekend so I can take a pic of it.

you are absolutely right, Mike does have them still. I was just hoping I might be able to maybe trade for something. It is the perfect replacement for the 1st run Buzzz. Mine is a Clear Crystal 1st run which I did a winter "replacement" for with my Black beauty.

The midnight buzzz is the closest replacement for a 1st run you will ever find. I am beating one in right now to replace my 1st run.

There is a second set to the first run mold (still flat top, still says wasp inside the rim) that was used for hot stamping that came in clearer colors. I have 2 clear flat buzzzs that say wasp inside the rim. One is a Club Dead stamp and the other is a Texas COTO stamp. I've only seen 100% clear flat buzzzs that have the wasp stamp. Never found any with color to them.... if any of thta makes sense.

I had a flat Buzzz that was clear, but not cryztal.. It was translucent yellow and had a Sedgly goat stamp.. i'm sure it wasn't a first run, but it threw just like one...

Exactly! I have two clear flattop Buzzzes that have the Wasp stamp on the inside rim. Both hotstamped with the Toledo Area club stamp. I have also seen a swirl dyed Buzzz with the Wasp stamp inside, also very flat.

I agree. The Midnight Buzzz is fantastic. I guess I will just have to break down and give Mike a call.

The midnight buzzz is awesome ... but it's black! I can never find this disc when I throw it.
Hope Discraft does the "highnoon" buzzz. There was a rumor that this would be the same mold as the "midnight" but RED. Does anyone know about this?

I have a Champion Edition Firebird FX 173G Fly-Dyed Used but is great shape. This was originally owned by Brian Schweberger #12989 and then ended up in Barry Schultz's hands then I bought it from Barry. The disc is in excellent shape for being used. Has a ton of life left. I threw it a few times and liked it alot but I'm liking the new Star Firebird FX's more and I need a couple New 10X Aviars 174-175G or a New 10X Roc 179-180G.
