In order to read a .pdf file, you have to download Acrobat Reader. It is FREE and there is no obligation to buy anything or deal with ads. Most new systems come pre-installed with it. Anyhow, here is the link: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

Discette and all other U.S. Masters entry form wonderers:
The Adobe software team is exceptionally lame. Whenever they roll a new verison of Adobe Acrobat, the software used to create the pdf files, the old version of the free Adobe Reader program blows up horribly. It seems simple enough to fix from a developers perspective. It's your file, your software should be able to look at the version number inside when opening it and see that it is newer than the version that is trying to read. A helpful pop-up that says "The file was created with a newer version of Acrobat. Please download the new version of our free Reader at Adobe.com" Other developers do this, but not Adobe.
With Adobe Reader, when you try to open a later version file with an older version Reader, it dies horribly with a cryptic error message. The message chages from version to version, but it always looks like a bad file. The solution is to visit adobe.com and download the latest version of the free Reader program.
pdf files are very prevalent on the web. You will need this upgrade anyway, so just go get it. It's free.

then why just NOT USE adobe to make flyers???
how about something else??
i have used word for making flyers and it is something that comes alreay loaded on 99.99999999999999999999999% of computers sold and you never have to worry about an upgrade...
the flyer mostly only has words on it anyways :p

No, Microsoft Word does not come on 99.9999999% of all computers sold. MS Word also is not free. It is very expensive to buy. Some systems come bundled with it, but not even "most" Windows machines sold come with it.
Also, if you create a doc file with Word 7.0, I'm pretty sure Word 5 or 6 can't open it. (I think was Office2000 that this happened on.) So you still have the same issues there as well.
So what does pdf have going for it? It's pretty much an Internet Standard. The Reader program is free and is available for pretty much all computers and OSs. It prints really well, meaning that what you print with whatever settings you have your computer on will look like the original. Oh, and it's free. :)

Just like you had to do the last time you couldn't open a SoCal entry form. :)
I didn't make the form. I don't have a different version than the one on the website. Mine crashed, too, when I first tried to view/print it. I updated the viewer for free. It opens just fine now.

Suzette,
I hate to be a pain, but is there any chance of the Summertime Open being un-cancelled? Michelle reports that they unveiled the new layout at last month's monthly, so it sounds like the course is completely playable. I'm having a hard time understanding why the event was dumped.
There's a tourney in the blistering heat of Tucson that weekend, so I would hate to commit to that only to have Summertime come back.
Thanks.

Suzette,
It's been a while since my last philosophy of logic class, but one can infer based on the above premise that Michelle is in favor of non-man made religions. Further inference reveals that she may also be a proponent of a higher being. Does this prove the existence of God in Michelle's mind?

Michelle,
Thanks for noticing how well I avoided answering the question. I am not comfortable debating religion or politics in a public forum. However, one of the great things about living in this country is that you and Jack are entitled to your religious and political opinions whether or not anyone else agrees with them.
Your original question presumes that someone is not entitled to be prayed for because they have committed unspeakable acts and are not remorseful. Some people would never want to give up hope that this guy could be saved through the power of prayer even if it seemns to be a lost cause. Maybe that is why it is called faith.

Well, the potential tournament directors are the ones who cancelled the event. I do not know the complete reasoning behind this. I will check again to see if there is any chance of getting the Summertime Open back on the schedule.
However, there is still hope for a course at Wrightwood, and if that happens, this weekend would be a good time to hold the tournament. So, you wouldn't have to go sweat in Tucson (sorry Keith).
Again, this is all just wishful thinking at this point in time. I will keep everyone posted on the status of Wrightwood and the Summertime Open.

No secrets Donny as he's not a golfer... His name is Weince and he lives in AZ for now. He'll be moving here hopefully soon but the target date is October. Ya'll will meet my new caddie by years end. A little background - we were engaged in our early 20's when we both lived in AZ, but due to his newly chosen lifestyle, I had to walk away. 22 years later, we found each other again in April of last year. We're getting to know each other all over again and it's been really cool. I'm heading back there this weekend for a day and it's really nice to come back to 75 degrees! I really don't miss that triple digit weather!! But it's all good!! :D:D:D

Welcome back Suzette! Gosh, you've been gone so long that my questions are piling up!! So here we go...
1) Did you have fun in PA? Was the weather really hot and humid?
2) Is our webmaster back yet from his honeymoon?
3) Was Annie K. late for the final 9; is that why she scored a 40? (I was told she missed 5 holes but that doesn't make sense since 5 x 4 = 20 since we get a 7 for each hole missed. The math seems wrong.)
4) Are you going to Worlds in GA next year?
and finally...
5) Do you miss Dave? ;)
Okay, that's it for now. Thanks and welcome hooooooooooome! :D:D

1. I had a great time in Pennsylvania. The weather was indeed hot and humid.
2. Webamaster has returned from honeymoon, and is now in Arizona at Am Worlds.
3. Annie missed the first two holes of the Final 9. They started the Final 9 on Hole 4 and Annie was waiting patiently at hole 1.
4. I will probably go to Pro Worlds in Augusta next year.
5. Dirty Dave always provides lots of reading material on the message board, and I miss that. I am rooting for Dave to do well at Am Worlds.

Jack - that WAS a funny one! :D:D Made me laugh, truly!!
We've talked about it and are in no rush at all. I told him if we're still together in 5 years, then we'd bring it up again. We both see no reason to do such a thing. Living in Sin is fine with both of us ;) ;)
But to answer your question, absolutely NOT. Probably somewhere weird like the beach or Top of The World in Santa Cruz. Stokley's wedding up there was purdy darn kewl. ;) ;)
good i hoped you would get a laugh out of it, getting hitched up on the top of the world sounds cool :D
Glad you had a good time at Worlds. ;)
I've been meaning to ask, is it a given you'll be back as SoCal president next year, and if so WHEN does the 2006 season talk begin; we're ruminating on adding an Ice bowl here [to benefit the Lupus foundation][we've already "warned" Cliff]. :)
...off on a tanget; was the 2004 U.S. Masters [November, after SoCal's September Finals] a SoCal meet, and if so, what was the decision on where the SoCal fees raised [roughly $136...very roughly] would "go".

I think that would be awesome if there will be a new BOD next year. I hope there is a coup d'etat.
I have not polled the membership, but many have written the BOD with complaints or suggestions. I would not call the membership base angry. Most members seem to be very thankful of all the hard work the current BOD is doing. The website seeems to get the most complaints. Several people would like it to be updated quicker or have player registrations and results posted more timely. This problem is usually related to So Cal being unable to get the information from TD's rather than not wanting to update it.
Right now, the BOD is concentrating on making the So Cal Tour and Championships better than ever. This received the most feedback from members. This year there will be a sizable payout for the Championships as well as the So Cal Points Leaders. The So Cal Series was tweaked this year based on the feedback from members. Some new tournaments were added, some new formats were tried, some events were welcomed back and unfortunately, two events were cancelled (beyond the control of the BOD). There are still two events remaining before the Championships in November.
I would urge anyone who has any amount of free time to donate to disc golf in Southern California to step up and volunteer to be on the So Cal BOD.
BTW, there are still INNColor fundraising discs in designs 2 & 3 available. Design 4 is coming soon. Remember you get a chance to be in the Sponsor Rewards drawing for the USDGC Sponsor expemption on August 30th when you purchase these discs. Hurry!!!

Unfulfilled promises...
Our primary mission is to bring the sport back to the prominence it once had, through a series of PDGA-sanctioned tournaments.
The purpose was to raise awareness by bringing PDGA benefits closer to home for the large contingent of disc golfers in the region that would have to travel to other regions in the country to compete for PDGA points. We are best described as a regional chapter of the PDGA and are supported by a combination of individual memberships, sponsors, merchandise, and tournament income. In 1998 we incorporated as a nonprofit mutual benefit corporation to ensure that our mission is perpetual and will be carried out by future generations of disc golfers.
Other goals of the organization include expansion of new courses, maintaining existing courses, provide a network of communication and assistance for the public, player's, course pro's, vendor's, and manufacturer's involved in disc golf.
No offense to Suzette, but it seems like lip service to me. What courses have you created this year? What courses have you helped maintain this year? What assistance have you provided for the manufacturer's involved in disc golf other than Innova? I have talked with numerous SoCal members, current and non-current, and all of them are disappointed in the SoCal Organization.

SLO-Yeah, I know its not her campaign platform; It's the SoCal mission statement. She is the boss however, and could force changes if she was compelled to do so. If the SoCal mission statement was written in '96 and not adhered by today-then you just proved my point of unfulfilled promises, outdated webpages, lazy volunteers, etc.

Hurry up/slo-down...which is it?!? I've been reading, it's what should I read into.
In the past, World-level events have been held in SoCal @ Pasadena ['76?], H.B. ['79] and Irvine [82?]. I believe that's what John, Tim and Loren were alluding to...does the fact it hasn't happened make them [and all-to-follow] failures?
....flippantly, I think a coup d'tat sounds swell; that would mean there's interest in the position! Courses can be tweeked, but to get the Majors, SoCal needs more volunteers at all levels, not just the 'top'; that's my notion. ;)

Dave -
What courses have you created this year?
The BOD has not actually created any courses this year but we, and many So Cal members, have worked with and supported several groups and individuals including the organizers of the Ventura course, Manhattan Beach, Santa Clarita, Elysian Park and Sun Valley. Most recently we have been working directly with the organizers in Burbank in their efforts to get a new course.
What courses have you helped maintain this year?
While the BOD does not actually go out and maintain courses, our membership does. They represent far more of the organization than the five board members. If anyone knows of courses that are in need of maintainence, including tee pad/tee sign restoration, redesign or general upkeep, please let the BOD know. We do have resources available.
What assistance have you provided for the manufacturer's involved in disc golf other than Innova?
This question is missing the first part of the sentence, "provide a network of communication.." Our website provides this network of communication, and so does this thread here on the PDGA message board. The public, course pros, manufacturers and vendors can all reach the BOD and get information about tournaments and area courses through information posted on the website. While the website does require an awesome amount of work to stay fresh, it still provides this network for all. I wish our current BOD had enough volunteers with web skills to help maintain the website. It is by far, the largest, most time consuming task we face.
I have talked with numerous SoCal members, current and non-current, and all of them are disappointed in the SoCal Organization.
I wish they would send an email to the BOD members and provide us with feedback. Suggestions and comments are welcome and we do respond to all emails. It is hard to make improvements without knowing what members do not like. I was not personally aware that these items you listed above are making the average So Cal member disappointed with the effort of the current BOD. The feedback we have recieved from members seems to be focused on website updating. Next is the So Cal Series and the scorekeeping, payout and points tracking for these events.
"Our primary mission is to bring the sport back to the prominence it once had, through a series of PDGA-sanctioned tournaments." I believe the BOD has been extremly successful at executing this goal. One of the things the current BOD has done is to add new events to the So Cal Series. In the past, So Cal Series events had to be a B Tier or above, and include four rounds of play. The current BOD voted to allow other PDGA events with less rounds be eligible. This allowed both San Diego area tournaments, the Ice Bowl and Fling IX to be eligible for So Cal Series status even though they were only one-day, two-round events.
I would like to add some other items accomplished by the current BOD that do not appear in that mission statement.
Becoming a PDGA Affiliate Club. This provides a $5.00 discount on So Cal member PDGA renewals. This also includes the creation of this dedicated forum at PDGA that you seem to enjoy.
Changing the way So Cal points are awarded. They are now awarded on a round by round basis and no participation points are awarded if a player withdraws from an event.
Providing support to tournaments. The BOD volunteers our services to any TD's that need staff support. We also provide equipment for events. So Cal is fortunate to possess lots of equipment for running tournaments including the So Cal trailer, tables, awnings, tee sign holders, walkie-talkies, signs, banners, food service equipment, fencing, lap top computers, a PA system, a generator, scoreports, player scoring cards, scorecards and tons of other stuff too numberous to mention. All these items are available to every So Cal Tournament director, even if they are not hosting a So Cal Series event. Again, we personally volunteer our time to help the So Cal Series events as do many other members.
I wish it was possible to do everything that every memeber of So Cal would like, but the reality is that no matter how much is done, it will always fall short of at least one person's expectations. However, that does not prevent us from trying.
I will continue to try my hardest to make So Cal great for all members, but I cannot do it alone, nor without the help of the BOD and other volunteers. I cannot help implement improvements without receiving feedback from members. I hope that you and the many So Cal members you talk to that are not happy with the current BOD will provide feedback to let us and the next BOD know how to improve So Cal DGA for everyone.

You're the satan worshipper you old freak.
i think what people fail to relize is after tim steped down no one really steped up to see that socal kept going, they had plenty to say about how bad things were but wouldn't or couldn't do anything to help things get better.that went on for at least a year then rhett steped up and tried to run things all by himself mainly because no one esle would and rhett didn't want to see socal just die off,and rhett did the best he could for what a year are so.but alast rhett is only one person and thats like a chicken running around with it's head cut off
(MAJOR PROPS TO THE STROLL FAMILY :D)
now we finelly have a BOD again and things are starting to get better grant it not as quickly as some people would like but all the same these people are new to the BOD and will only get better at what they voluntered thier time for to do to make socal better
( i think it's called a work in progress )
thank you BOD for your time to make it better

played with "beach" discs from that point until accidentally running into some people playing with these strange smaller/heavier discs one day in 95...
like most new players i threw it straight up and 100 ft left...
said this suucks..i'll stick with playing with beach discs...joined their league...beat them weekly with beach discs(short course)while learning to throw "golf" discs on my own.....

Santa Clarita is a nine-hole recreational course with DISCatcher targets. It is located in Central Park, 27150 Bouquet Canyon Road. Here is the info on Manhattan Beach course (http://www.pdga.com/course/courses_by_city.php?id=2124)
These are currently nine-hole recreational courses. The head of the Santa Clarita parks department is watching the activity level and response from the community to determine if there is a demand for an additional eighteen hole course in town.
The Polliwog course will accomodate up to 18 holes for special events.

There should be a course in every park. Let the picnickers go to a drive-thru and eat in their cars.
Thanks for the word-up...I had no clue Polliwog was already in the directory! Whom have we to thank for S.C., perhaps the Ventura club?!? :)
Pat mentioned to me he didn't think the Polliwog set-up was condusive to weekends, but I'll bet lots of people in that area would appreciate something LOCAL. It's a good drive to anywhere else from there.
...hopefully, people have the sense NOT to throw into an 'occupied' area, no matter where it might be. :o

Skip Kelso can throw one 300+, just inches off the ground. :)
...I don't have the time to pull-up googlemaps on my Sisters' dial-up, but western L.A. has the Carson courses [4 x 9], and that's about it...I'm certain Polliwog has the potential to be enjoyed by many, albeit only on weekdays [plenty of time for the pilgrimage to [i]El Dorado on weekends, anyways]. :)

If I remember where the Carson course is, it's not the best of neighborhoods and I wouldn't want to go by myself...
BUT, the Polliwog course ROCKS! I only had to wait for one family to cross the fairway, a whole minute out of my life. The park is pretty, has a nice ocean breeze coming across it, has a nice lake and am glad to see no baskets near the water. The parks n rec guy said they're now open on the weekends too! :D:D
It only took me 35 minutes to go from Century City to Manhattan Beach and the worst part is by LAX which is typical. It opened up pretty good after that and that was at 6 pm - rush hour traffic! I'm very stoked to have found a course this close to where I live and I thank all of TEAM ELDO and everyone else who help put in this course!!! YOU GUYS ROCK!
At hole 1 I met a group of locals who were just about to start the weekly. They said they're there Tuesdays and Thursdays and I told them I would most definitely be back next week to play in the weekly - and maybe even twice next week, we'll see. If I can get in enough practice, I might even sign up for the Masters in September. :D:D

Pat says the baskets @ Polliwog are in the ground--they only appear like temps in the photos. Also, the REAL props go to Tim Selinske, and the kids @ one of the local High Schools...I think it was Mira Coast(sic), but don't quote me quoting Pat [!]. ;)
...and Pat reiterated it will probably take a while before the 'civilians' @ Polliwog become acclimated to DGers. :o
Safety should always be ones' main concern, out there on-the-course. :)

Props to those working to get these recreational courses installed. Building a larger, stronger player base begins with having places that beginners can play.
Please make sure there are tee signs and a course map/info board at the first tee so new players don't get frustrated and give up!
Looking foward to adding these two new stops to the Tour de Rizbee itinerary...

I am excited to see how the course at polliwog works out. I had nothing to do with its installation however. I believe the Mira Costa Disc Golf club proposed the idea to the city and with the help of Innova It got installed. Its interesting to see how different the demographic of disc golfers is at polliwog. It is refreshing to see mostly young kids enjoying the sport for the first time. I have yet to see anyone drinking beer or smoking illicit substances and I hope that people realize that wont be tolerated at Polliwog. The park is in an affluent neighborhood directly across the street from the Police station and I hope that anyone who jeopardizes existence of this new course by breaking the law does get cited for it. Polliwog is great place to take your family for a leisurely game of golf in a serene environment. The course is not very challenging but there are some fun elevation changes and basket locations. It will take some time for park patrons to understand the danger of disc being hurled in their direction and we as disc golfers must play with extreme caution and patience as most people at the park do not know it is a disc golf course.
"The course"...what would a new-comer find, a map, chalk lines; what?

My point exactly. Would a first-timer be able to play? Or would they be so frustrated that they would give up and never decide to buy that $8 Eagle at SportsAuthority? :(
Too many courses that I travel to require a local guide or an engraved invitation to be able to play. Get tee signs in place - quickly!

The parks guy told me maps were available inside the building but I ran into the locals and they told me there's tape on the ground for tees. I was unable to find ALL of them so I just made up my own. I'll be going out there tomorrow after work to play in their weekly event and then I'll know the course myself.
But I can't imagine and also don't know of anyone who would buy a disc and go find a course all on their own for the very first time. Most of us were shown this game by someone and taken out to play as opposed to going all by one's self for the very first time. :D:D

Wouldn't it be better if the people who see the game being played in the park could find a rules sign or tee sign to help answer their questions, if they can't (or are to shy to) catch your attention? </font>
And if you've played before <font color="blue">(only for 25+ years) </font> , think outside the box and make up your own as you go <font color="blue"> (that's how I started back in the 7th grade - but it seems silly to spenf hundreds or thousands of dollars on disc golf baskets, and then not provide information to people on how to use them. It's almost as if the taxpayers are being mocked.) </font> .... or go inside and get a map :D:D
My comments about Polliwog weren't specific to that park (never been there, but I'll search it out soon), but were general comments about courses placed in parks. Oftentimes there aren't locals available to show you the way, or park employees who can answer questions, so signage can be a big help if people aren't available.
Two weeks ago I was in San Jose, at Hellyer Park, playing there for the first time. Great layout, wonderful tee signs and tees, but the baskets had no numbers. The baskets had mmultiple locations per hole, and some were close together, so it was easy to start playing a hole to the wrong basket. I say that because that's exactly what two other groups who were playing at the same time as I did - good thing the 6-year olds in one of the groups didn't get hit. So...sometimes it's a safety issue, too.
Kudos to the volunteers who got the course installed. I'm just saying that the investment makes a lot more sense if there is signage that helps newcomers or other park users understand what the course is about.

How can you be from Minnesota representing the SOCAL org, and not like either of your 'home' teams?
For the record, I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona and lived ther for 30 years. There was no NFL team in the state and the Raiders were my choice. (The Cardinals came to Phoenix AFTER I moved.) I then lived in Iowa for 12 years. Again, no NFL Team, still loved the Raiders. I only lived in Minnesota for four years, and I enjoyed watching the Vikes, but I would never root for them over the Raiders. Now I live in So Cal (for just over a year) and I am rooting for a team from Nor Cal. So be it. At least I am loyal to my team. Kind of like a Cubbies fan, but at least my team has actaully won some Championships. :p

Suzette, will we have an FPM division at the So Cal Championships? or a series trophy for the FPMs?
An FPM Division will be offered as more than one player has already played in five events. However, FPM players will need to actually play in the Championships to be eligble to win. If there are no preregistered players, there will be no trophy.
Payouts and trophies are based on the total entrants throughout the series and the number registered for the Championships. There should be at least a trophy for first place and payout to three places depending on the number that play in the Championships.
The registration form should be available in the next couple of weeks.

Donny -
The top finishers in the event get awards/payout like any normal event - plus the top point earners in the So Cal Series receive awards/payout.
I would like to make it mandatory to play in this event to be eligible for the So Cal points series payout. However, I am unsure if that was necessary in the past, and don't really want to diverge from previous policy. I guess if I advertise that fact on the flyer that should be enough.

The top 4? Top 10? Top 50? In each division?
In the past, there has not been a "payout" for top points earners. Some kind of super-killer trophy (polished metal disc, DGA mini-mach basket) for series winners. Once upon a time there were custom embroidered jackets or bags for the series winners. There used to be a skins match for the top 4 finishers in MPO and top 4 in MPM on pro weekend, and top 4 Advanced and top 4 Intermediate on Am weekend. But side deals and all the usual junk that accompany skins games ruined what should be the best format for spectating.
One time once we created a "Bonus Pool" like the Texas10 does, but since we horrible at raising sponsorship there wasn't any extra money going into the pot so the payout from that was pretty weak.
I'm just curious about how it's going to work.
discette
Aug 26 2005, 12:33 PM
The top 4? Top 10? Top 50? In each division?
Rhett - I cannot tell you how deep the payout will be until some kind of final numbers are available. There will be a deeper payout in the Advanced Men division that has had 32 participants than in the Advanced Grandmaster that had only 6.
I can tell you, that we have been doing a great job at raising money for the Championships and the So Cal Points series thanks to INNOVA and the INNColor program. We have also been selling So Cal merchandise to clubs and on the internet through Disc Golf Values. We plan to raise money through tournament/tee sign sponsorships. We also raised money through memberships and So Cal event fees. Extra money that was raised should go towards the Championships/Points Series to reward the players that participated throughout the year. There will also be a great player's package for the Championships.
By the way, there are still some INNColor discs available in Designs 2 and 3. The next design should be released shortly. We are in the process of finalizing the artwork.
NEWS FLASH: So Cal is getting ready to release INNColor minis of the first design: So Cal Van. Sorry, no specific details are available at this time. Stay tuned.
Thanks to everyone for all the questions regarding the Championships. This is the area members told us they wanted to see improvements. We listened and have been working hard to make it a reality.

WRONG! Get yer facts straight.
One year ONCE there was a "Bonus Pool" deducted for an end of the year bonus payout. All dollars from all divisions were faithfully and accurately tracked, and paid out only to the divisions they were deducted from!
Michelle, this is yet another time you have chosen to make accusations without knowing crap about what you are talking about. Give it a freaking break.
Before you dig yourself into a bigger hole and have to resort to saying more untrue things in order to try and get your way, check it out. The year was 2003. All the entry forms are still on the SoCal website and show the $2 deduction. Don't forget to check out the pro results for the SoCal Champs. Son of a gun if there isn't a FPM division. And every single dollar that was deducted from the FPM division for the bonus pool all year long was paid back to the FPM division.

Skins, bonus, call it what you want. But that year (maybe not the year you're thinking) I was told the women's money went for the men's skins at the end of the year because our numbers were too small to have a division, even though we had 3. They wanted 4. That's why I think THIS year has been the most fair.

Discette,
Do you think Ryan had more than 2 bogies?
Discette & Dave stopped by, but didn't play...Ryan had 1 bogie each round. ;)

now that rhett has won an event and accepted CASH don't you think he should play PRO masters at the us masters??
he is obviously too good to play advanced masters anymore!
i for one am tired of seeing sandbagging adv.masters staying DOWN and denying me the opportunity to finish lower in the pro masters division at events in so cal

Well, unfortunately, PDGA rules allow a 924 rated "Pro" to play Advanced. So, even though Rhett has cashed, he is still eligible to play Advanced at the US Masters.
BTW, you would not have to play in the Pro Masters division if you allowed your rating to drop a few points.

You can't play ANY Majors if you've accepted cash at a sanctioned event, regardless of your rating.

Hey Keith ,
Was your event an X-tier , C-tier , XC or XB event ?
Was your PDGA number required on the entry form ?
No big deal , just asking.
Hope to see you and your family , if possible , out to the US Masters tournament in a couple of weeks.
That is one really cool event. Lot's of great tallent at the challenging La Mirada course layout !!!!! :D

Skins, bonus, call it what you want. But that year (maybe not the year you're thinking) I was told the women's money went for the men's skins at the end of the year because our numbers were too small to have a division, even though we had 3. They wanted 4. That's why I think THIS year has been the most fair.
"I was told..."
Back in the day, and that would be from 1999 when I first played the SoCal Champs, there were only 2 divisions in the skins games each weekend. Advanced and Intermediate on am weekend. Open Men and Masters Men on pro weekend. It didn't matter how many players you had that weekend in any other division because those were the only ones that played skins at the end.
I think you are confused. Again.
What money are talking about that you have no idea about, anyway? There was only one year when a "bonus pool" deduction was made, and I can guarrantee you that the ladies money didn't go to the men. Since there was only one year ever that took that deduction each tourney, I can also guarrantee you that there were no skins matches that year either.
The $2 fee pays for everything SoCal, including trophies and member prizes and funding the final. Hopefully you aren't trying to count that money.
