Its easy... each person needs 18 beers. You find a "tee spot" a reasonable distance from a trash can which will be hereafter be called the hole. You pound your beer and then stand on top of it and have someone flick the side, this will crush it nice and fast. (Crush it anyway you like but this way you could add in a penalty if unable to stand on can do to drunkenness.) Then play a hole of DG with your crushed can to the hole. Once the hole is completed, someone finds a new tee area and possibly a new hole or use the same one. Repeat until 18 holes are complete or until passed out. Most fun wins.

I am right accross the river from St Louis. 10 courses in the St Louis region, but only 7 or 8 worth a darn. But, yes you guys would be in the land of Gateway. :DGot a B tier event on May 21 and May 22. They hope to have NT status next year. Oh and there is always the Budweiser Brewery tour. :D :p I got enough room at my place to easily accomodate a handful of guests as I now live alone. Although I hope to make a road trip sometime this summer or even when the school I work for goes on Spring Break (March 19th through the 29th) but I don't know where to go to keep it economical. Figured I could load up my mom's van with my full mattress in the back and camp if I had to. Now I just gotta find a trip worth it.

I would say go to somewhere wit ha alot of quality courses, like NC. There are over 100 courses in NC, not all are listed in the directory, but Charlotte has at least 10. Raleigh has 20 within an hour of the city limits. Think about it it might be a state you could even move to in the future.

I have always loved the Carolinas. Where I end up moving will be determined by what university offers me a good job after I finish my PhD in a few years though. The coast and texas were my initial considerations. just gotta see how much money I got (which ain't much lol).

Cost of living in the Carolinas is very cheap compared to most of the country.

I have been to this point in my life. But there's something about this crazy housing market, a butt-load of equity, and the thought of a better quality-of-life quotient that is allowing me to consider some pretty strange things.

No way!! I am a modest family guy!! I have talked to Climo before!! very nice guy!! Me and my brother talked to him at the 02 worlds. That was an amazing experience!! we had never played any tournies prior to that!! we followed the lead card for 4 rounds.All the pros i talked to were very receptive and friendly!! I have the utmost respect for the ambassador's of our sport!! :D:D

Well like I said I didn't think you would be the type and that is a cool story. I have met Dave McCormack and Justin "The Kid" from here in St Louis but thats about it. I have only been playing for less than 2 years and haven't played any golf out of this area yet. Looking forward to some road trips this summer maybe though. :D

this will be my 3rd or 4th world (national) doubles to spectate!! Its a great time!! I usually take a newbie with me , and they are hooked from there on!! The digital camera will be with me!! i will share pics if anyone is interested!! I actually ended up in the Dgwn from the 02 worlds!! i was stoked!!

As soon as I can afford it and have time I plan on making it to a world class tournament to watch. But as of now my job schedule and bank account laugh at me when I ponder it.

its a great experience!! i am fortunate in my location , i suppose. national/world doubles is local and 02 worlds was about 2 1/2 hours away!!
