Martin, I had to read through all this lame trash talk to learn one important point: you suck. ;)

Y'all are the ultimate shameless bagging team, which is pretty freaking hard to be in this event. By the way, better slow down on that circle thing, your old man's wrist is hurting, although I'm sure a few incantations and focused energy flow will heal him. :D

there once was a klan named vinnie and the rockers.
who hung around a sandwich maker who bellows out, FOCKERS!

they talked tall tails of beating everyone around
but right around tee time, they were no where to be found.

cat hollow said they were still in their beds
waterloo said they were all shaving their heads.

pease was asked next to last
then on the horizon we saw em running fast.

"you're late you're late" mccaine said with a grin.
"shut yer donkey, old man" vinnie said rubbing his chin.

"something is a miss" he said with a glare.
"i aint accussing," as vinnie started to stare
at a small texas man with a bushy beard of hair.

"simmer down, vinnie," houck said as he stepped on his box
"i tell you something is missing," as vinnie scratches his crotch.

"vinnie vinnie!" smitty yells from a far.
"you left this behind. you left this at the bar".

vinnie grabs the garment and smiles wide and clear
"now, we can play. now, that i got my gear."

he steps into the slinky garment with eddie in shock.
"nothing more sexy than vinnie wearing a slingshot."

AH, some team names of those who will be there...

Drowned Sock: limp, cold, and wet - like their wrists

Circle Jerk: always needing a helping hand

Fried Stoat: for those uncertain, a stoat is a critter like a weasel (mmmm.... roadkill)

Scat Wallow: always rolling around in the... shule

Team Fart: they smell just like their park

Scar-lington: faces even their mothers couldn't love

Whacko: crazy, but hey... look where they live

Land of the Woodies: they got one very happy am woman

LoveButtocks (or LoveButt): take your pick... they do

Round Mushroom Top: we won't be seeing what they see

Wino Dale: happiest when passed out by the fire, all the MD 20-20 gone

Puhleeze: as in "please" don't sneak up behind them... they are a little jumpy about that

Screw It Ville: these are they guys Team Puhleeze does NOT want behind them

Spam Anglos: white bread, red neck

And finally, the winners and grand champions: Waterloooooooooo

He had some game, but never did he show it.
Wishing his words would bring the pain,
this silly guy can't play in the rain.
When it was over, he had some fun,
even though he got beat by the Grun.
All he could say is "I dont see how..."
While the crowd chants "meow, meow"

Nov 17 2004, 12:05 PM
I only call you bagger
cause you should'nt be a slacker

When all is over and you look at your dagger

cause you will look to disappointed to live another day

Just rerpesenting the Kitty and all our names.

Just to get you boys even more excited, here's a recon photo of the ranch property.

The Rancho Grande course is the (still?) planned 4th course on the hillside.

The Inky Dinky course is a proposed Roc and Putter course. Proposed, that is, by the Iowa Boys, who need something to do between their 3 rounds per day each Spring.

I can't believe this event is limited to teams from Texas. How, how, uhhhh, imperialistic.

This thing we call teams is all show and gleam ran by a little feller who crawled out a Buffalo cellar. Some call him john others call him Houck but his the one that walks like he needs the powder of talc. You can not miss his small stature and now that he has a girlfriend I know he is not a catcher.
All these teams gather to do match play only to realize their dreams have been snatched away. They all have their pep rallies to poke fun at other teams cheering on and on so it seems. To make fun of ones name is all fun and games. But when the Dragons tee off, our game will show you all are all soft. So have your fun now, cause when the horn blows to begin the show, you all will run cause its time for the Dragons to have some fun.

Weather update. As a rule, we do not believe forecasts. But right now it looks like the rain should end this morning -- may have ended already, in fact. So we're hoping we'll have half of Wednesday and all day Thursday and Friday to dry out.

Much more information is going out to all players in the next hour.

A little nonsanctioned tourney they call Texas Teams
From the looks of this thread, it's been in your dreams
To gather at the ranch of the Circle R 2
Through tire high mud, all red and like glue
The teams they will come from both far and quite near
Just pride on the line, good times and cold beer
But, no lie, this event is not all about the fun
A few teams, in fact, have come to Get R Done
Slackers, Hackers and Studs are easily divided
Which team are you on will soon be decided
So smack all you want, it all sounds about the same
In the end it's your teammates that you'll be trying to blame
But, don't ask if I'm playing, it's not the time to tell
Just wait for the pairings, then ask why your team fell

Almost time to hit the road! I got everything ready to go.
got extra hotdogs and chicken legs for everyone. I contacted our nextel rep and they admitted to not having any coverage out there. I got some batteries for the walkie talkies and now I am hoping AT&T's gsm network reaches out that far. I will be posting the results on the PDGA board as the competition evolves.

Why dont I just save the time and post it now

AND THE WINNER IS...........CAT HOLLOW!!!!!

Sad news. David and I hoped to get out of town early today but it looks like we won't even get to leave Tyler until 4:30-5:00. That should put us there right at 10:00. John, if we're a little past 10:00 do you still want us to check in at the lodge? Man, I wish I were on the way there right now! Hope everyone has a safe ride down.

As I stated before, All you nextels guys will be out of luck. I handle our companies Nextel account and the engineers confirmed they have no service out there. Wish I had a booster laying around but they are all issued out right now.

I am a seasoned survivalist and get off to functioning without the help of outside influences. Yep everything I will be doing will be from the heart of the woods. Including posting how Nelle's game is coming along during the tourney. Wireless rocks. And AT&T's GSM network is blanketed across the US with one exception in Fredricksburg. Now go cut your finger nails off so you wont break one during a drive. :D:D:D:D:D:D
