F this, I am going to work.

From the cannon to a stack of TNT directly onto another stack of TNT. The height meter hit 76', and the cat comes down right into a cat eating plant.

gnduke
Jun 22 2006, 06:23 PM
Not really a game of skill. I set it about 20 and kept going.
The good ones hit floating missile before the first bounce.

The bad ones (57 ft) hit a cat eating plant before the first bounce. The ones that hit nothing ended up around 200 ft.

What's really bad was that the 1400 ft one was launched at only about 2/3 strength. It was a bad launch, and got a very good result.

Pizza God
Jun 22 2006, 07:39 PM
I have had some good results around 40 at full power. If you hit nothing, you still get about 250-280

This music site has concerts of years gone by. Maybe you attended some of them. Look around this site, it has a lot to offer. You can make your own playlist too from songs and performers at different concerts! Some of the audio is not CD perfect, but what was in the 60's-70's? They have brought the audio up as much as possible. Check out the top rated performances for sure. Great listening to bands perform songs for the first time on stage many times. Songs that became their signature song. You have to register and create a password, just like here if you want to play the concerts.

So if you think using satellites to find weather proof containers is strange ( www.geocaching.com (http://www.geocaching.com) ) then check out this new "urban" game.

It's called Urban Exploration. http://www.uer.ca/locations/newlist.asp?n=1&statfilter=160&country=United%20St ates

I guess the point is to:

Urban Exploration Resource offers articles, photo galleries, stories, and an active forum for the Urban Exploration and Infiltration Community.

Information for exploration, vadding and urban vadding, tunnel vadding, steam tunnels, spelunking, urban spelunking, underground tunnels and passages. Information about Canada, Toronto, Ontario, and many other countries.

A huge and ever-expanding database of buildings, tunnels, drains, factories, and bunkers, where anyone can add or update information. Abandoned buildings, drains, sewers, subway stations, factories, warehouses, offices, and the like can all be found here. Among others, places discussed include Canada Malting Company Limited (aka Canada Malt Plant), Silos, grain elevators in port mcnicoll, Whitby Psychiatric Hospital, and other closed and abandoned property, tunnels, steam tunnels, storm drains, sewers, hotels, airports, power plants, and much more!

a few years ago, the Dallas Observer did a story on Urban Exploration. The even went on a exploration with him to the old building off 35 that is now a retirement home I think.

But on his web site he had things like the hospital across from Childrens Medical center and the Super collider.

OK, let's see how far everyone can get.

I took ten tries to reach, but not pass Level 11. 374,000 points, and a 112 IQ.

http://minijuegos.com/juegos/html/index.php?id=5974

This is the best of the "Find the place on the map" quizzes I have seen.

Miss South Carolina might want to try this out, she might school something.

3 tries and I got
261,510 points
level 8
100 IQ

The hard cities on level 8 were hard, I didn't know where any of them were.

I did manage to get 24km away from Dallas though.

ok, out of 10 tries now, my best was

330,459
9th level
108 IQ

The high levels are very hard sometimes. I had one that I didn't know a single one, I mean who knows some island out in the middle of nowhere. That and I don't know my African and eastern Europe countries that well.

I get get on flag 2km away from the target. I think it was something in Paris.

11th time

369,970
10th level
112 IQ

I only got 28K point on the first time with the 10th level.

I got lucky in the 9th, I already knew several of them and got a lot of points.

Again, the islands and african countries kill me.

The Guineas get me, there are 3. Mali and Malawi get me a lot too. DRC I always go to Korea, but it's southwest Africa.

I am however, getting better.

Best distance was 6km from MOMA, and then 15km from Kandahar on the next turn!

A buddy of mine (Geoff Roes) is running the Iditarod trail right now as part of a race (foot/bike/ski) along the Ititarod trail. He's an animal and if you are into checking things like this out you should check out his blog w/ past results and things... he's crushing ultra marathon records left and right up in Alaska. He's currently in the lead by a few hours.

Geoff's blog - http://akrunning.blogspot.com/

His girlfriend is also racing (she's biking) and is currently in the lead by a bit for the women as well.

now for the kinda crazy thing... here's the website for the actual dogsled race starting in a couple days... click on the interactive trail map and check out the elevation changes they are going thru!!

Not a website but its fun

YOUR AGE BY BEER MATH

This is pretty neat.

DON'T CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST!
It takes less than a minute .
Work this out as you read ...
Be sure you don't read the bottom until you've worked it out! This
is
not one of those waste of time things, it's fun.

1. First of all, pick the number of

times a week that you would like to have beer (more than once but
less
than 10)

2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold)

3. Add 5

4. Multiply it by 50 -- I'll wait while you get the calculator

5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1755 .... If
you haven't, add 1754.

6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.

You should have a three digit number

The first digit of this was your original number ( i.e., how many
times
you want to have beer each week).

The next two numbers are

YOUR AGE! (Oh YES, it is!!!!!)

Posted 4 years ago and the answer is four years old.

gnduke
Aug 05 2009, 03:23 PM
now you need to add 6 instead of 5
then add 1708 or 1709 instead of 1754 or 1755
