Actually most of the tags are moving quite a bit!! I know "The Line" has some nine hole events scheduled in early September. I think this would be a good time to start positioning yourself for the event!!

I do still have some available, not sure how many though...maybe ten! I'll be at Chandler Thursday night to win that $90 ace pot and then in Alma Arkansas on Saturday... I haven't been out of state with them (although I know that they are in 5 different states), so you should probably get in touch with me before I go!!

if you somehow forget to swap tags or one party doesn't have theirs... either don't play for tags that day or just forget about it and play on, tags are constantly swapping hands, wouldn't be right to wait two weeks to trade someone and tell all your other opponents "Sorry, I'm waiting to give this tag to someone else"

you are correct by definition of the rule unless the ground over the culvert was out of bounds IE the path. if that was the case the placement and scoring would be the same a shot out of bounds on the path with drop and penalty as if the disc had landed on the path.

Brian Graham the NT Marshal ruled a 2 stroke penalty for playing my lie improperly :P

Well Duff does it again , awesome Mini ( more like maxi,with all the goodies ) for the tag holders or anyone else that wanted to play okie wind golf, on top of a hill no less . I didnt hear any super low scores , I did hear a bunch of people saying worst chandler score ever.I didnt have that but six down still does'nt cut it . I always have a good time with T-town crew,playing with Penny, Sean and Lee was a blast.Thanks to Duff Man and Teresa, the Bartons, Jeremy T for cooking up the grub. I was suprised to see some gold tags there but I doubt they moved from there owners. Classy move of Duff to put his tag up for a throw off for anyone carrying a tag 100 or higher .Thank goodness I didnt have to get in that throw off and I came home with a lower tag than I went with, which was my main goal.

I had a great time at the challenge as well. I would like to thank Duff for giving me free entry with my ace that i hit. As I was running to get my disc it dawned on me that it was not a ctp hole nor was their an ace pot. Talk about bad luck and timing, lol. I did win my card to go from 110 to 87. Then was able to improve that to 79 at Blackhawk yesterday. But back to Chandler.... Thanks for the burgers and my boy JT for cookin' them up. Free beer and coke was also a great Perk! Well even Wise (who ran the best local Bag Tag tourney to date IMO) started his first round at Riverside but
rumour has it that the first round is at McClure so I'm screwed. I don't see myself knocking any top seed out on that course so you can have my tag if you don't hit a lower one before then. I'm going to want a percentage of winnings you might get though.:)

" The Tulsa Bag Tag Challenge season will run from April 1st thru October 1st, 2010. Only the top 50 tags will be guaranteed a bracket spot on October 1st. The remaining 14 bracket spots will be decided upon at "THE LODGE TEAM EVENT" On October 2nd. We will then have a bracket of 64 players for the "TULSA BAG TAG CHALLENGE" on October 9th and 10th. Tournament entry on October 9th will be $10 (you must present tag to enter) "

Yes, I was referring to Wilkes match play event.

In the previous bag tags, byes wer never luck of the draw. Players are ranked 1-64 with the byes going to the lowest tags in order.

Dale, the match play has always been single elimination and it still takes 6 matches and two days to complete. The Staurday first round will need to tee by 9:00am.
With double elimination it would take about a week.

I just hope Duff does full 18 hole rounds of match play. I have seen some play 9 hole matches and that isn't enough.

I'd say that has gone by the wayside Dale. There are only 4 teams registerd for the lodge event. On top of that, how do you take a tag from a a player based on team play?

Plus the fact he has now sold over 100 tags. I'd say it should be tags 1-64 with the higher numbers, in order, filling the empty spots.

not my deal but I would have grease pencil in hand and take the top 64 tags that show up by the end of sign ups and fill the bracket then and there maybe have a losers round at Dovillio for anybody past the 64 person limit since there seems to be 128 tags out this year.

No way Martin sorry but if you have a back up tourney for everyone that didn't get in then why have tags in the first place? Why spend all these months trying to get a better tag?

What makes this tournament so cool is that you have to earned your way into a limited tournament.

I hope next year there are even more tags sold but still only 64 spots into 1 tournament.

My tag season has been all over the place, from the worst tag to the teens...challenged for gold but never achieved it, and have lost around $45... but guess what #28, I qualified! I qualified for this:

a 64 player, head to head, 18 hole, single elimination, match play tournament at McClure Park in Tulsa OK. on Saturday October 9th at 7: am. Entry into this event is $10 per player and you must have a tag to sign up (I left it at home isn't gonna work this time). The mandatory rules meeting that morning will explain "match play" to the participants. We will have 64 players in this event...knowing that some of the qualifying tag holders will not be present, those spots will be filled with the next qualifying tag #. For instance, Coda Hatfield Tag #1 will not be present so the #1 spot will be filled by the #2 tag holder which is Jose Mendoza.. and so on and so on until we have 64 players...

I will DUFF IT UP with a random drawing for ALL tag holders that are present to play in the event!

Next Saturday morning tag holders need to be at the park with 4 things:

#1) Tags are "IN PLAY" when playing in a scored round event. This is any event where you are playing for position.

I guess he they didn't consider night golf or a single disc challenge an event :P

But you stated you didn't have it with you anyway before the single disc round.

I have always had my tag on my bag or in my trunk, but 99% of the time it was on my bag for all comers. Hiding a tag is a cowardly way to keep it.
