Conclusion - One may use a towel or small pad (with a maximum compressed thickness of 1 centimeter) in order to prevent harm/abrasions to the body during competitive play.

I guess that explains why your bag was packed full of these....

You don't have a clue as usual. The situation came up on a Pro Master card not Pro Grand. I was curious of the exact wording of the rule, so I posted it. Knowing what what used by one player to prevent abrasion was questioned by another.
I know the item in question that was used and no I'm not sure if it can be compressed down to 1 centimeter. Possibly though, thats a big guy doing the compressing.

Actually I do have a clue buddy because I was in the shelter when the question in question came in and I know the parties involved. Mr. Forest (as the professional TD he is) made the decision and handled it.
You of all people should know the compression rate of a knee pad.
Why are you bringing it up now? Someone you know still pouting about it?:D
Why don't you just loan him one of yours next time. I believe with you guys in Owasso it's one size fits all.:)

You're right, I've had to buy you 4 replacement sets in the last 2 years.

consiering the age and material of the pad used, the answer is that it did and does compress to less than the allowable 1 cm as stated in the rule although in this red neck of the woods it would be easier to say one half an inch or better yet .50 caliber!:D

are the scores for the weekend going to be corrected? the spreadsheet PDGA file has a course layout section that wasnt modified for a 24 hole course, which is why the scores are comming up as 23 over being the best score for the weekend. this could also effect ratings possibly.

... and yes , we caught an extremely fortunate weather weekend ... I was out at Haikey today and : WOW ... that main body of Creek resembled more of a small River ... RAGING ... that far south bend was only about 4 foot from top of the bank ... and with water-running from the West Woods across fairway 1 and 4 ; and large diameter puddles in numerous other areas , WE WERE JUST PLAIN OL' LUCKY ... I'd say that was Good Karma for all ...

I don't regret anything for the weekend. I actually liked the little bit of extra motivation from the Wise bet. In the end this is my summary, Wise played amazing the first round, far beyond my expectation and probably his and the rest of the GM field!! He earned the first round win. That left me in a tough spot because I was now left with 15 shots to make up in two rounds! He left the door open second round by shooting only even, but unfortunately, that is where I had my worst round. It had nothing to do with pressure from wise, it was just me playing bad, birdie, bogey, birdie, bogey... triple bogey :( .... finally in the last round I played solid and he played even again, which is really more what I expected him to shoot the whole weekend. I missed pushing our overall bet by 2 strokes and missed winning the usdgc spot by 2 strokes. The hardest part of the weekend for me was not handing Wise the cash on sunday, but watching Josh miss out on winning the spot. We all know it is only a matter of time before he earns his spot to the tournament, it will just make it that much sweeter when he finally does earn his way in.
Wise, that was a classy move buying lunch on Sunday, triska and I appreciated it... and I was also impressed with our -11 doubles on friday! We tied josh and adam and if my ace would have stuck we would have tied coda and jared!
Hats off to devan for a killer weekend. I wouldn't have guessed someone would throw down a 31 under for the tourney win!
Thanks Wayne for a sweet weekend of disc golf action, there was never a dull moment for me.

You played well Paul, if that second round -2 would have been a -6, you would've cleaned house on me and the USDGC spot. Thanks for the wager, it was fun and you sure had me worried on that last round. You knew I was worried becuase you saw me watching you finish. Almost too close for comfort. I thought, no way he can make up 12 in one round, but you almost did it. I feel lucky winning the bet.
But you know the saying, "I'd rather be lucky than good any day".
I think the only thing that could have been more exciting would have been to see you in the playoff for the spot also.

Thanks Wayne and staff for a great tournament! Those two rounds on Saturday really tested your mental and physical toughness (looks like I could use some work on those). Congrats to Sammy for winning the USDGC spot and nice job on Crowl's part for putting himself in the position to have a chance at it. Congrats also to Devon on his birthday win!

I second that. As a volunteer I can tell you that NOBODY takes better care of his staff than Wayne Forest. I've got two cool shirts, a cool hat, a nesting UV mini combo, a supercolor disc, 3 Peace dogs on Saturday, and 2 more Peace dogs on Sunday.
It was a great event all around and I'm here to tell you that volunteering for the "Wayne'ster" ROCKS!!!!:)

that whole Swap N Shop concept was a stellar idea between Paul Dorries and Jose Mendoza scheming and dreaming that up ; it was a purely brilliant notion besides drawing-in current vendors : ( The Line ) and ( L S Discs ) ; there were several individuals with some seldom-seen and hard-to-find treasures Bill Slim Moyers Brandon Peak Dave Wise Chris Hutchinson Bob Doc Morton Gary Nail and a BIG display of rare collectibles from John Brother Love Green there was even more selling and swapping going on from trunks n hatchbacks in the Parking Lots always lots of neat stuff lots of goodies

Maybe we should pack on into all of our bigger weekend events or at lest pick two a year to sell and showcase the past present and future of disc golf!

I was looking at my current rating on the pdga trying to figure out a team for the team event and noticed I have a tournament on my ratings that I did not play in. I never played in the Haikey Creek Classic and I am sure it was the other Jeremy Taylor that is from Stillwater I believe. How do I go about getting these ratings removed and put back on the correct Jeremy Taylor's ratings? No offense to the other Jeremy Taylor because it looked like about what I would've shot anyway if not worse.
It's funny too because I did notice that my actual pdga number was listed so not sure who's fault there, but I hope he wasn't using my pdga number.......
Anyway, who was the td in charge that I need to talk to?

Too funny. What are the chances of having two Jeremy Taylor's both showing Owasso addresses.
One of you need to quit the sport, too confusing..
