Short pads are OK for beginers and the ladies. No issues there.
Bayside on Tuesdays , offers a different venue.
Am's have a Great time at Bayside.

<TR><TD><center><font color="greensize9">2005 BAYSIDE Recap...</TABLE></h5>
The 2005 Bayside season was an overwhelming success in terms of quality design, fun atmosphere, and helpful and competitive people! Week 1 was probably the most anticipated disc golf event for everyone who has played Bayside, it's like being a kid on Christmas morning (sorry Micah...no I'm not). But Ryan and Dave had something up their sleeves...They envisioned a few more design changes and created an entire mirror image of the OG layout called sdrawkcab. While it sounds like a walk in the park (pun intended) throughout the season there were many obstacles. Bayside was a happenin spot for the weekly octogenarians meetings, the baby boaters, and the G's, and because of that we had some deft design changes on the fly. This is where we thank all the people who don't cry about it. Thanks. The volunteering got better as the year went on, and with a few years under our belts we will all be a smooth running machine next season. Each week we saw new challenges and new faces, including Bob "I drop bombs like Hiroshima" Benner, and "Hockafield"-Hockaday's alter-ego since Rich Ragus pinned his ear like a doberman-pincer! Did you hear that Hock? BTW Hockafield had the most ridiculous driving style, most discs lost in the lake on the same hole by the same player, worst basket, and longest ace...Speaking of aces, we had 3 this year.
1. Dave Vincent claimed the third ace at Bayside and the first of the 2005 season. He bombed a massive thumber on hole 17 that came 5 ft short, but took one hop right in to the chains (292')!
2. Tony Barajas nailed the fourth ace at Bayside by throwing caution to the wind. Tony stepped up to a nasty pin setting on hole 8 (basket 10' short of the ocean) and cranked a sidearm drive on a perfect line, 1 inch off and bye-bye disc (249').
3. Richard Hockaday stuck the tricky #9, #9, #9 for the longest ace at Bayside, with a (343') crush that skipped right in. Good thing the pin wasn't set at 344' or Rich might have had to putt.
By the way, next season will be phenomenal for challenges on each shot, kind of like the last week of Bayside. I would elaborate, but the last week results, layout, and prizes are TOP SECRET...Those that know don't say, and those that say don't know. With the mixture of layouts, atmosphere, and volunteers Bayside has maintained its #1 spot in the world!

For those of you who didn't read last year's recap, here it is again to help you mentally prepare for 2006...
<blockquote>
2005 BAYSIDE Recap...
See you mugs in 2006...

Bayside was great on Sunday. The only hole that I couldn't play was 18 (those model boaters!). Saturday and Sunday Morning are totally empty and it would be very easy to have a doubles round on either of those days, as long as it was before 10:00am. I lost my Avenger on hole 16, another sacrificial disc for the pond gods.

Hats would be about $20.00 or more .............depending on how many were made. Still , a local shirt company could help out with a small order !!!!

That was funny, you parked the hole, then the seagull took it out of the circle and you missed the putt!
After further examination of the rules, you should be able to confer with the other players in your group and place your lie where you believe the disc came to rest before the raptor took it away.

He got enough D that I wasn't going in after it. He had a very akward angry sidearm style. Right after he released it he kept yelling "Go, Go, Go, you can make it, Go, Go Go". As the disc flew past my left ear I couldn't hear anything and turned just in time to see it splash down.
