Thanks to Coda for sticking it out with me in another doubles event. Huge 2nd putt on hole #1 at McClute first round to save a circle 3 after Hutch aced (worse shot). We almost were down 3 strokes on the first hole and in the first 5 minutes. Another huge 2nd putt on hole #6 at McClure when I missed the birde putt and left it for dead center of the cement path for a tap in OB circle four and Coda jammed the 28 footer to give us birdie instead of bogey. To much fun. No real chances to get loud on big putts but fun. :) Thanks to the other Open players that played as well.

Good times...very well ran event(koodo's to the Barton's and all helped).. the fellowship with good people made it a blast! Thanks to Mike Treat for being my partner, we had our moments of greatness...then we had those other moments, but it was alot of fun! And then to be able to give a basket away myself made me feel good, But to see the look on Furdogs face when I won Barton's basket...priceless! (I went ahead and made the front yard shot a permanent placement...350 right in front of the evergreens!)

Mike you can have the trophy....we both know that I'm the State Champion:D

we both had good shots and bad shots. my three worst shots just happened to be on the same hole. gator out too far on 2 vs. your roc clearing the trolls out from under the bridge = fun times.

Hinds, with that attitude you are banned from CS2010. You already posted you were going to Emporia so I'm sorry but .....

NO TAKE BACKS!!!!

It's not my fault the event filled before you signed up so you might as well bum a ride with Wise and Treat, the two other traitors. I'm sure between the two of them they won't mind having a portable ATM tag along.

Hang on, you already told me Hinds could stay in the CS motor home with you and Marie.

No take backs..

If he makes the 5 ft. shot on hole 5 from behind the basket we would have been 5th. Then I would have gave him half. He didn't want the 20 but i made him take it. When you hit a cash ctp you can divide it however you choose. This is how I chose.

Yea, you deserve it, you didn't miss ANY putts all weekend, I'm sure his 5ftr was the deciding factor. Now we all know he was the only reason you didn't get 5th. Jeremy, YOU SUCK!;)

What ever Hinds. I'm sure you carried the team all weekend and deserve the lion's share. I have just never even considered ever not splitting everyting 50/50 with my partner on a doubles event. Win together, lose together. It may be your choice but you are in a very small minority, if you think thats right. Sorry but its an unspoken rule, you split with your partner.

You signed up as team didn't you?

God luck finding a partner next year.:p

Hey I had the pleasure of seeing you miss some under 15 foot putts that last round marching with the general and his side kick carptastic. and all I have to say is I would rather Jeremy and his camera crew be on my Team in the next doubs event than your self proclaimed greatness anyday.

Hey I made PLENTY of mistakes trust me on that. I have to admit, I let the General get in my head, and it showed. Jeremy is an excellent partner and we have agreed to join forces again at OKie Dubs.

Who said I was great, I certainly didn't ! Was just givin a little ribbing thats all. And my misses were more like 25-30 but they still missed. Still had fun playing with you guys on your card no matter what you may think of me

I did ask Jeremy if he wanted to split it and he said no, I could take it all. I still felt like he deserved something, thats why I gave him 20. ease up you guys.

and yes we did sign up as a team. After the first year I played I signed both my partner and I up and payed for everything. I never got 1cent back in return or even a promise of payment after the round. I ran into this particular individual twice during the softball season and he still never payed. I kinda feel like the CTP pot was karma for what I did in 07 at the GCD. I honestly thought only the ace pot was split. I was under the impression that if J got the ctp it was his, if I got it it was mine. That is what we discussed as a team. Sorry if you got the wrong impression.

as far as finding a partner, seeing as how Conners already asked me shouldn't be an issue. Although Jeremy and I are trying to get better as a team and work some magic.

Dont let the Conners thing get to your head when he's high he'll say anything. He said he would be my doubs partner then he asked penny. It might have worked out a little better in the end if he had me... no just kidding Penny rocked it up this weekend. from what I seen Penny needed the conners from 05. :)

Don't let it phase you MC. You and I both know who rocked the Lodge's last 8/9 for Birdies. Some day (maybe team event this year) we shall do it again !

I think Jeremy and Minshel shot 7/9 same time, lol.

i even split ring-of-fire winnings with my partner at doubles events sounds like you think Jeremy owes you something because of something that happened with another person in 07 .you should never have had to ask Jeremy if he wanted to split the ctp you shoulda just split it but thats just my opinion.and your right about the karma thing it does seem to come back around....happy golfing

OK....Okie Dubs, ring of Fire. I win Sugarland concert tickets. I asked J if he wanted them, No he says. I don't either so I trade them to Carla Barton for a spot in the Wake Island Memorial tournament. At the same time I was emphatic that Jeremy get the same deal or no tickets. I did cut him in on my ring of fire win we won last year. I would have given him my medium T this year if he could wear it but I gave it to Woody instead for a donation to his Crow Throw. Is this really what you guys want to sit around a babble about, really ???

:P what do u want for the metal one duff? i need a basket in my back yard, the leaning pole i use to practice on is hurting my game more than helping i think :P

And i dunno bout that! i shot decently brilliant in the 6-6-6 :) parked 1, 2, 3, lil deep on 4 but ez putt, middle fairway on 5, parked 6, caged 50 footer on 7, missed a 25' par putt on 8 after a long but left drive, parked 9 for a par, u saved a good par on 10 after your shanked drive an my shanked up :), threw with godlike accuracy for the skip off the rock on the right side of the creek 2 putt! (yeah thats a joke) and we did pretty good on the best shot, sept both missing my parked drive on 17! :P

if not for my shankapotamus episode on 5, the 6 tough shot holes wouldve been the highlight of the weekend. chain birdie putt on 1, gator in the creek circle 4 on 2, birdie 3, birdie 4, birdie 6.

i think a fun and challenging format would be:

18 holes of tough shot at redhawk (or moose run)
18 holes of best shot at blackhawk
18 holes of alt shot at mcclure
18 holes of team score at dovillio
