Sorry but you're still officially banned from Chandler.
Treat may not have a problem accepting "riff-raff" at Riverside but I do and with new pads on Moose Chandler is going to become "standing room" only and I don't think you qualify to get past the velvet rope.:D

What would you all think about starting Riverside mini's later, maybe even 7:00???
Again, just floating the test baloon out there to see if if floats...
It would make for a later evening obviously, but as summer progresses it would be a little cooler and with traffic and parking being issues, the streets and parking lot might be more manageable. You could even get a bite to eat before hand....

I believe Popa Treat's downfall was the fact that he took his shirt off and ran around like a 51 year old Tarzan showing his hairy "nips" trying to impress the ladies. I believe when they failed to "ooh" and "ahh" like he expected, his confidence waned out and his game turned into something I leave on the course and most people try to avoid stepping in.
I was there to do battle against Slane which ended in a tie. Beating Popa Treat was just an afterthought. Kind of like finding an extra prize in a box of Cracker Jacks.:)
I know the humiliation afterwards got to him thus the reason for him bribing Matt to credit you on the board. He didn't kick his bag or anything like you do and I told him that I wouldn't tell anyone but after I saw the attemped "cover up" on the board I could no longer remain silent.:D
I'm sure he'll be along any minute now to do a press conference about the whole incident.:)

First of all we are not playing the mini if it is on the short course. We will play the big boy course.
Second, I was up 5 and figured you had caved as usual so I let off the gas and ended up with a 6 on hole 11.
From that point on you looked like Climo. I swear you could have thrown through a picket fence. Hole after throw I saw you close your eyes, throw as hard as you can and end up in your putting range, which is about 2 feet. Talk about playing over your head, wow!!!
You and I know I should have won by at least 10 strokes. Please continue to leave your shirt on as the horror of that gut, total lack of any muscle mass and that strange white glow that comes off your body is way too much for public consumption.
Just the weekend before you said, and I quote, " Yeah man you're all buff, you can take your shirt off, not me man." Honestly I was pretty uncomfortable with all the man love you were throwing my way. I assumed baby sitting pads had finally gotten to you, now I am not sure.

No, I want to play on Sarah's card. She's my real competition and considering we both beat you, a good opportunity for you to learn something.:D
Second, I was up 5 and figured you had caved as usual so I let off the gas and ended up with a 6 on hole 11.
I wouldn't say you let off the gas. It was more like the air bag blew up in your face. You're supposed to throw around the woods not through them.
From that point on you looked like Climo. I swear you could have thrown through a picket fence. Hole after throw I saw you close your eyes, throw as hard as you can and end up in your putting range, which is about 2 feet. Talk about playing over your head, wow!!!
I was not playing over my head but rather keeping up with Sarah while dropping a nutsack on yours. You may be a good accountant but you didn't can't account for that can you.:)
You and I know I should have won by at least 10 strokes.
10 strokes won't help you to mate. Half way through the round you start checking the score card as the realization of pending doom and gloom start to set in.
Please continue to leave your shirt on as the horror of that gut, total lack of any muscle mass and that strange white glow that comes off your body is way too much for public consumption.
As long as Lil'Moose loves me I don't care about public consumption.:p

That is because I had to wait 25 of those 35 years for Lil'Moose to come along and we've been together ever since. We plan and do CS together, we play music and do drum class together, do grand openings together, we shop together and I'm actually a better Moose shopper than she is now.
We put up Xmas lights at Chandler together and all the park crew up there know and love her. We take trips together, attend funerals together, snore together and even do the little things like you and Julie and go out to eat together.
Is the fact the we choose to stay together less important than being bonded by a piece of paper and a line of greedy lawyers waiting on the sidelines to decide who gets what should you or your wife decide someday that you just don't want to be together anymore?
I've met a lot of DG'ers but only a few bring their wives or girlfriends out. I'm not saying that is a bad thing. I'm only saying that it's nice to be with someone that is open being actually involved in what you do.
Thank you Lil'Moose!!!!:)
Dave I realize that having to raise kids, care for a horse, and maintain a relationship at 50 is tough but you made that choice a long time ago and considering the legality should your rainbow disappear, don't crucify me because I'm in a position to make different choices. Considering the time you spend on the course, it doesn't look like those other things are putting you out too much.:p

Sorry but I've set my goals a little higher than that. Obviously so has your son because I don't see him out there trying to earn a scholarship into hamburger college by playing DG. The fact that you work to promote "the sport" yet shield him from it says what???
The ONLY reason she is still around you is that she can send you home 6 nights a week. Even I can deal with a pain in the arse for 1 day a week.
Well then I guess Julie does have it harder than I thought having you around 7 days a week. No wonder she kicks you out of the house all the time. Tell her I said that if she wants, I've got room in my barn for you to move in should she desire the same absence of you as Lil'Moose enjoys on me from time to time.
Come talk to me after you have been in the same house with the same person for 19 years. He11, your mother couldn't even do that with you.

Uh-oh!!! Sounds like you're backtracking now. That might be what you think but that is not what you pervay to others sometimes. I listen to you all the time tell these young guys that are kicking your butt on the course to wait until they are married with kids. What I percieve you to be saying is that marriage (at least in your experience) is the death of all personal ambition or personal individuality.
To me that doesn't inspire anyone. Congrats on 19 years but don't try and cram your "people must be married" morallity. If God wants to say something to me there are better people than you he can use to voice his wisdom to me.
Lil'Moose is a great woman and yes like you I have had to say "I'm sorry" many times in our relationship but probably not as many times (19 years) as you have had to.:D

No that is not what I said. I like how you take everything out of context, just like your President. I tell them that because now they have all the time in the world to play. But when they get married, have a full time job and have children, their time commitment to the family severly limits their golf game. If this is untrue, then tell me where has Ben Powell, Cory Briley, Slim Moyers, amd many other of the newly married guys gone to? I also tell them, we'll see them again in the masters division. This is the time their children are older and their wife is ready for them to be gone a few hours.
To me that doesn't inspire anyone. Congrats on 19 years but don't try and cram your "people must be married" morallity. If God wants to say something to me there are better people than you he can use to voice his wisdom to me. When did I ever use the word marriage? I said relationships and commitment. You were the one to use the term marriage. Do I sense some guilt or shame in your accusations at me?
Lil'Moose is a great woman and yes like you I have had to say "I'm sorry" many times in our relationship but probably not as many times (19 years) as you have had to.:D agreed.
Perhaps I'm just depressed because Lil'Moose and I used to see you and Julie out together. Now we just you.:(:p:D
Wrong again. You don't see me out, you see me on the course from time to time, depending on when you feel like watching people play.
When I go out, its with my wife. We are at a point in life, we like it with just each other. Thats why our vacation is just for the two of us.

Furdog, your going to get smoked like a cheap cigar! I was on your side with the Sara matchup because I have to root for my gender. But you keep talking trash and Treat is going to beat you by 12! I can't believe you are forcing me to root for an AGGIE....But you got this coming, lol........

Thanks Hinds, it is good to see you possess the clarity of thought that Furdog does not.
I should have known better, I had nothing to gain and all to lose. If I beat him it's like OK, that was supposed to happen. If I lose, which I did, then get ready.
Funny thing is he begged and begged me to play that night. I had other stuff to do but, wasn't even planning on playing but finally I was like ok I will play a nice casual round.
Well, obviously this is the first thing he has had to crow about for a long time. But, that banty roosters day is coming very soon!!!!!!!!!

You had other stuff to do like what???...Take out the trash at home???
You were there for one reason only and that was to help your son in case he got slammed with 50 or more players. What were you going to do, not play and sit around with him till the end and help him with the payout? He did fine on his own.
I came out to give Matt the $34 towards the ace pot. I could have very well given it to you at the next meeting and not come out at all but I wanted to play on those nice new (non-Centennial sidewalk slick) tee pads that I had spent "a day in the life" watching.
Girl's team my arse. You and Wise can always ban together and form one of your own with all the excuses you two can come up with. Hinds can be your mascot.
At this point you both should "man up" and ask yourselves....."What would Chuck Norris do???".:p

Chuck would beat your arse into next month just for even trying to pick on Sarah. But it doesn't take a Chuck Norris to do it, Just a ordinary man in a tie. Hopefully after Sarah kicks you around the course, you'll tuck your tail and go hind under the house because you'll get no sympathy from Marie.

Actually, it might be better for you and your "Running for State Coodinator" political career if you throw the match. I won't tell.:D
If you win you will come off looking like a bully and could lose a lot of votes amongst the newbies, the Hindshaws, Snakeskins, Coberly gang, not to mention the big important swing vote to be cast by Bud Johnson.:o
Where as if I win it shows that you care for the little guys and it's not all about being a business for you. Maybe you can start giving out free mulligans at Riverside like Matt did at Chandler. You'll get my vote plus the votes of thousands of other "hacks" out there.:)
You should also think about losing Wise as your co-promoter and campain manager because his promises of trash cans and benches at Centennial have yet to materialize and you don't need his lack of action reflecting on you. He's nothing but another Sara Palin who just wants to get all "Mavericky" with you and get rich writing a book about it afterwards. :D

Why would anyone want a Disc Golf State Cord that can't beat an 800 rated course baby sitter? We want a strong leader. Not the delusional kind you put in office.
Sounds like you"re still off your meds or suffering from Gonorrhea Lectim. They have a new drug out for this, call Votemout. You need to get the treatment.

Why would anyone want a Disc Golf State Cord that has to have you around to hold his hand so he can beat a 800 rated player?:p
That is not going to help him win the spot and you being there will take away from his glory. Sounds like you're trying to suck up for another free trip to the USDGC.

We do have a strong leader now and we need to continue that. If they can't beat you then they don't desreve the job.
I won't be holding his hand, I'll be walking along and enjoying your demise, so I can savor every moment of it. I might even sing while you putt and trust me you DON'T want that. I will be on the card and there is nothing you can do about it. You're just a hack in players clothing tonight.
The only thing you'll be in control of this evening is what time you decide to leave the mountain.

And thanks for your concern on Treat's political career. You just gave me two excuses I can use tomorrow should I lose.
Excuse # 1 / "Well, I tanked the match because I didn't want to hurt Treat's bid for SC.":)
or
Excuse # 2 / "Treat can only beat me when he has a "Pro" cooler around."
I'll decide tomorrow which one to pick should I lose.:D

Which ones appearance is going to bring a larger draw to your Rose Bowl (Bail a Owasso Parent Out) Tournament next year???
Sounds like you're just trying to suck up for another free ride to the USDGC next year.
How hard can a SC position be? You just sanction the events of your friends and screw the ones you don't like or who can't come up with the bribe money.;)
Then you take a ride to the USDGC and write it all off as a business expense.

Well say what you want but that wasn't YOUR drum your woman was jamming on between her legs at YOUR event a couple of weeks ago.:)
Obviously there must be a lack of rhythm going on in your household OR, perhaps that Kenny Rogers "know when to fold them" cover band just isn't working for her anymore.:D
Maybe you should get a real job???
I'm not saying Treat won't do a good job. He must have done something behind the scenes though because I must have voted at least 9-10 times and I bought PDGA memberships for all those bums living in their vans down by the river just so they would vote for me also.
I'm just saying Oklahoma would have looked better if I were doing it.;)

Dave, it is kind of like Amway or in your case, selling insurance.
It's so easy even a Caveman can do it and if you do long enough then sooner or later you can move up to the top of the pyramid and others will volunteer to come in and do it for you only in this case I don't fleece them for anything.
Almost everybody has an imagination except you whom at first needed my example to show you the way. That's ok, you don't have to thank me. You're like the son I never paid child support for but I'm glad I got to teach you the ways of the street.:)
Matt Treat made some cash. Duff made some beer money. Barton is probably using some of his profits to finance tee pads at Bristow, and now "Not so Slim Anymore" Moyors is coming in for a two week engagement on the 12th & 19th with some imagination of his own. More than likely to raise money for his cherry tree farm.
You gripe when I run them and you gripe when I don't so make up your mind woman!!!:p
I'm sharing the wealth and avoiding the heat at the same time.:D
Is there any other TDSA member that wants to run one of my minis' out there!!!
Please step up and call me because it's really P'-sing my buddy Dave off!!!;)

Yeah well I heard rumblings that the rate increase proposal you brought up at the last meeting is DOA so you shouldn't believe all the rumblings that you hear if they are coming out of your own mouth.:p
I just did Treat a favor by spinning a funny story that he actually might have had some low-level competition in this election for a position that nobody either seemed to want, or was willing to step up and publicly run for.
Take a look around because sanctioned events here in Oklahoma are not always getting the draw they used to compared to some non-sanctioned events. We non-sanctioned propponents are taking over!!!
At least for a while he could have bragged that he fought off Furdog for the position rather than boast on winning a position that no one else may have really wanted.:(
I'm sorry Michael......I love you man and I'm not trying to ruin your inauguration party but now that you've got the spot,....grow your hair long and a beard and start looking like a hippie!!!:)

Yep, the old TD had to get out there himself and get it done!!
Actually I had some help.
Adam Hunt hit a sissy skip ace on his last hole, #9.
A new guy, first time to play a mini, hit # 11.
I threw my Monarch with just a little anny towards hole 15, it flexed out, straightened up and hit dead center...
Ace pot was $447.00 so with just a little rounding up it paid us $150.00 a piece.
Great night. That is the first time I have played Riverside since maybe March..

Is it possible to have Ward sort the list to show only current and lifetime members. As it is now it still has Randy Bailey and the Perry brothers on the list.

Maybe a page with past members and a page with current membership list.

Considering YOU were a "past member" for over half of this year I would suggest you think about coming up with 20% of your mini funds to help pay for all this extra work you are going to be expecting from Mr. Ward and daily current membership updates you might be wanting now.
Either that or start making your own list and updating it Tweety Bird.

Why should you even care? You don't run minis and Chandlerstock is non-sanctioned with the money going to park friends, the camero payment club and the send a moose to Tahiti fundraiser, not the club. :p

Just because Mr Ward is a volunteer shouldn't mean that he has to volunteer on a daily basis. He should update the list one time and then it should have it's own thread here where TDSA TD's can update when they sell a new membership. When someone make an insurance claim on your company you don't write them a check that day do you?....I didn't think so. :p

$100 bucks and the club got a parking lot and nine baskets. That's $400 less than the $500 you griped about going to the YMCA.

Just because Park Friends has an account does not mean it is going to disc golf.
Again, you're whole biatch has no merit. You didn't vote on it, you don't run minis, you have a lifetime membership and to make the biggest point......................
You have offerd NO alternatives for a long term funding goal. You do nothing but continue to complain, whine, moan and gripe to whom ever will answer their phone that evening. Still suprised that everyone is so hard to get hold of?
You have complained So much, that is is clear to everyone that your complaints are only based on who is making the proposal and not on the merits of the proposal itself.

Again, you're whole biatch has no merit. You didn't vote on it, you don't run minis, you have a lifetime membership and to make the biggest point......................

Yes I have. More Duff events. Less Centennial events.
Also mully punch cards sales good at all TDSA minis. I'll have more shortly but I'm thinking about making some exclusive to Chandler like you do a Centennial.:)
You do nothing but continue to complain, whine, moan and gripe to whom ever will answer their phone that evening.
I didn't gripe at you last night did I and do you really think I care about drug busts at your kids school? If he decides to go that route you should tell him to carry it in his pants so if the dog decides to do a Loraina Bobbit on him, you guys can sue.:D
You have complained So much, that is is clear to everyone that your complaints are only based on who is making the proposal and not on the merits of the proposal itself.
No it's not. Wouldn't matter who brought it up. To me its just that 8 non-members in my novice division support 8-1 or 8-2 over the one or two members that do show up and now out of those 8 non-mems, should any of them win they get taxed 20% on top of the 20% we already took at the beginning. And the ace pot deal sounds like the old deal they use to run with the MFMM.
While I may not be an admin, I am an active club member that still cares about where the club is going. If you need help in that area, I'll be more than happy to tell you where to go.
Wow and to think that two years ago you were handing Marie and I a nice award for things we have done at Chandler.

You have done great things at Chandler but lately you have just become a pain in the arse. Right now Chandler is the best it has EVER been but only because of Moose Run. Without that it would still be the pitch-n-putt on the hill. I commend you for taking the time to push the new course through and getting it put in.
Good Job! But you're still an ******!:p
Mentioning mully punch cards is only a fraction of what will be needed. Do you have anything that will generate income or increase membership over a long period of time?
The proposal I made is not a solve all for the club, it was an idea. But is an idea with data to back it up. I think we need to have several plans for funding over the long term. While the club has done well since Worlds, we have not grown to where we should be in membership and funding sources to allow us to secure a major.
Do us all a favor, take half the time you spend on trashing any idea I have and come up with something. Keeping in mind, we need to raise over 10K in the next 3-4 years. This is also money that needs to be above the current club collections.
I have another idea that could generate income but I will save that for some other time. This one does not involve taxing any players and doesn't have anything to do with the mini structure.
I'm also trying to come up with $400 for Centenial so I can buy the 1st two benches.
My goal is to come up with enough for 9 benches over the next year. Is it enough? No, it will take a few years, unless the City has a windfall of money from somewhere. I will continue to work on Centennial without club money. It was always my goal to see a course installed and maintined without club funds. Why? The club CANNOT and should not have to support every course in the metro area. While it may not be a "Club Course" as you call it, any TD is welcome to host an event out there. How can you complain about them having access to another course without having to fund it?
So, we can all agree, YOU don't like the idea the club voted on.
Solution: Come up with a better idea!
Even better, come up with more than one idea. All club members should be thinking about this. They all benefit from the results. More members and better courses = better players and bigger events.

You have done great things at Chandler but lately you have just become a pain in the arse. Right now Chandler is the best it has EVER been but only because of Moose Run. Without that it would still be the pitch-n-putt on the hill.
Even as a "Pitch & Putt" it generated more money than Owasso.
Mentioning mully punch cards is only a fraction of what will be needed. Do you have anything that will generate income or increase membership over a long period of time?
Well for income the club could start charging you an extra $1 per disc they sell you for events that don't benefit the club.
The proposal I made is not a solve all for the club, it was an idea. But is an idea with data to back it up. I think we need to have several plans for funding over the long term. While the club has done well since Worlds, we have not grown to where we should be in membership and funding sources to allow us to secure a major.
That could also be because in this sport people come and go Dave. Just like you in the old days. You played DG but then you got married and had kids and it wasn't important to you anymore.
Do us all a favor, take half the time you spend on trashing any idea I have and come up with something. Keeping in mind, we need to raise over 10K in the next 3-4 years. This is also money that needs to be above the current club collections.
Your focus seems to be on large PDGA events like an Am Worlds when we haven't even blown up the Am Jam yet. When is the last time you ever saw only 67 or so at the Glide? Then look at the 100+ at both Duff events? Not that Treat that did a bad job but it seems the tide has turned locally against the PDGA sanctioned events. Duff's first event alone brought in $200.
You want to talk course improvements then yes that is where your idea should be benefiting.
I'm also trying to come up with $400 for Centenial so I can buy the 1st two benches. My goal is to come up with enough for 9 benches over the next year.
If a suitable bench only costs $200 then I'll check with Marie and see if she wants to go in half with me on one. We'll do it through the ODGF and we will want our names on it Tweety.
That way you will only have to find 8 more arch-enemies that care about you enough to donate.:D
While it may not be a "Club Course" as you call it, any TD is welcome to host an event out there. How can you complain about them having access to another course without having to fund it?
The Rose Throw was good but the club should think about per year, how many outside fundraiser events it is willing to support and give up weekend mini money for. Are you going to want to do another one next year?
Even better, come up with more than one idea. All club members should be thinking about this. They all benefit from the results. More members and better courses = better players and bigger events.
More Duff.....Less Fluff.:)

Where does Centennial come into this? It isn't a "club course" but the club has benefited from it being there. They have used it in tournamnets and there are several new players coming out of Owasso.
What part of the word major keeps you coming back to another Am worlds?
I said major, that could be any type of event but with major status. That could even be the Am Jam.
I'll do another Rose Bowl, if the band needs it. Now since you're going to knock my fundraiser, how about the Untited Way, the Food Bank, the SPCA, Chandler Stock (the club doesn't make money off of it, so it should be listed also) and the Crow Throw, also Holiday Skins, bag tag match play.................
There are several Fund Raiser Tournaments that do not provide income for the club.
Also, how is it that an individual can run an event and make some money from it but the club run tournaments always seem to break even, or lose a little?
And the biggest question you have continuously avoided.................
Other than a swag pack, what does a member get in benefits over a non-member?
And don't bring up club picnic and voting rights, because the members really don't see that as a benefit, I know I don't.
And what ever your answer is, I don't care, I'm out of here!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who benifits more? The club from Centennial or Centennial from the club with advertising, player draw from Tulsa, selling you payout at cost?

the Untited Way, = Real Charity
the Food Bank = Real Charity
the SPCA = Real Charity
Chandler Stock (the club doesn't make money off of it, so it should be listed also) well a second course for their minis came out of the deal but if you feel more is needed then I'll collect for the club next year if it makes you happy.
Crow Throw? Don't know.
Holiday Skins,Don't know but a non-members money seems to be just as good as a member if you're the member taking the cash.
bag tag match play....Not sure what Duff is doing because it hasn't happened yet.
The Rose Throw? Other than looking good in front of your kid I don't know.
There are several Fund Raiser Tournaments that do not provide income for the club.
That's right so what if every member wants to exercise the same thing you did? Only 52 weekends available. At what point do we limit them if ten other members want to raise money for their kids band or school? Advertising is one thing but making it exclusive is another.
Also, how is it that an individual can run an event and make some money from it but the club run tournaments always seem to break even, or lose a little?
Not sure but I'm in favor of collecting the $1 or $2 per player.
And the biggest question you have continuously avoided.................

I don't know because I don't see that many members on the mini result sheets that are supporting more than the majority of non-members. Perhaps we should hook them up with a joint, a six-pack of beer, and free admission to Night Trips. I don't think we would have to force membership then. :D
And waht ever your answer is, I don't care, I'm out of here!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's it. Fly away Tweety bird. I'll still be here when you come back.:)

As for who benefits more, Centennial or the club, I'd say its mutual. the club has another course to use, with multiple layouts. Centennial gets the use of the club's schedule. Why is it you are the only one to complain about Centennial? The only thing I can come up with, is pure jealousy!
Disc at cost? Maybe but I do not keep any of what is made. Can you say that? Can any other TD? There are TDs in town chomping at the bit for Chandler, why? They want to make money! Plain and simple! That is their main objective. Not to put it back in the course but in their pocket.
I have never made one dollar for my pocket from Centennial and the club has never had to give a dollar to that course. Name me one other course like that.
Other than the $1 dollar they give to the club where do all the profits from plastic on Ams go? Does Gorrila Ray at Riverside get to sell hotdogs down there for free? He11 no he doesn't, he has to give the city a cut. So why is it that TD's get to do this with nothing from profits going back to the club? He11 they can't even get their plastic if not for the club.
You need to get off your high horse, off my arse and get a life!
And quit trying to shiet on everyone else because your life sucks!
With your logic, we should just do away with the club. No members needed. No admins needed. They obviously do not provide anything that a normal non-member can't get on their own. You are the biggest detrimment to the clubs objectives of rasing money and membership.
You really want to help the club?
QUIT!!!! RESIGN!!! GO AWAY!!!!
If I were still an admin we would have already had a vote to have you removed for your direct actions and statements against them, when you CHOSE to not show up and vote on it you lost your right to biatch.
Why was it you didn't show up? Too busy looking for ways to trash me?

Well maybe you're right. Every TD is a business man though some maybe more than others. With the profit margin over cost maybe we all should be kicking in an extra $1 per disc eh?
"BE FEST" will be a series of single minis ran during the music festival through out the day at normal club $5 entry. I am looking for TD's willing to forgo their profit and volunteer their time to run one mini only throughout the weekend with all disc sales and profits directly into the TDSA course improvement fund. Would you be willing to donate your time to run one of these? All you have to do is pick a time slot, either course, do sign ups and issue payout vouchers.

I guess you're right, if people want to receive the full benefits of an organized event and an acepot etc. they should become a member. People can always go shop at walmart but if they want to go to sams where they can get better bulk deals, they pay the upfront membership. I guess the TDSA is considering organized minis, course maintenance, and a schwag bag to be the benefits of the membership.
I think the whole acepot thing is pretty unnecessary, but I can see where you're coming from even if I don't agree.

Well I've got other idea's too like why can't I buy Nite Flight mullies through the ODGF and get a tax break on my $5?
Why isn't there a traveling ace pot for the Nite deals as well because then you might see some super large turnout when it got over 2 or 3 hundred.

Well I've got other idea's too like why can't I buy Nite Flight mullies through the ODGF and get a tax break on my $5?
There are a couple reasons why this doesn't work. One being that is a TDSA function and has nothing to do with the OKDGF. However, we do work with the TDSA from time to time and plan to in the future. More importantly, the $5 of mulligans go directly to OO payout, contributing to pro payout is not one of our goals or functions as a foundation.
There will be more information to come soon that discloses all of our functions and reasons for existing.

Sep 15 2010, 03:30 PM
I believe Sean (SPY) shot a 47 not a 46 (reason I now have his tag).
Also Kyle I almost made the same mistake you did by looking at the TDSA schedule page and not seeing the mini listed and then looking at another part of the schedule that listed regular mini times. I don't think the old minis had been listed this way and that's why it's easy to miss.
As far as the ace pot goes (and yes I saw Gary's ace and it was a beauty), we are trying to get more people involved in the TDSA club. I believe all the TD's that are running and making these minis possible are TDSA members.

Well due to all the secret money kickbacks I've been getting from renting out my mountain to LS Discs, Duff, Barton, and Slim, I have developed a need for tax write offs to keep me out of higher tax brackets.
Perhaps if you could rent out your space to someone other than those bums living in their vans done by the river, you might have the same problem too.:p

I just received this today from River Parks:
If you're interested in helping with the beautification of Turkey Mountain, join us for a cleanup day on Saturday, December 4th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tulsa Area Trail and Ultra Runners (TATURS) and the Turkey Mountain Preservation Society (TMPS) invite you to put on your work clothes and head to Turkey Mountain to remove trash, tires, old appliances, and more. TATURS will supply the trash bags and the Metropolitan Environmental Trust (MET) will provide gloves. If you have an ATV, wagons or anything that you think could help haul some of the larger items off the mountain, please bring them. TATURS will provide pizza for all who work the entire four hours. More information at: www.runnersworldtulsa.com. If you would like to participate, volunteers are welcome to join the group at the main Turkey Mountain parking lot at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday.
I am not sure why they sent this so late, but feel free to volunteer if you have time.
We plan on having a disc golf course there someday, River Parks has already expressed an interest, so the more support we give the better. I am going to try and make it out..

Well Kyle, what I hope happens is everyone has a great time and we can raise a few dollars for the Ice Bowl next weekend.
That sounds special.
I will be selling mulligans for $1 each up to a max of 5 for $5.
Also plan on some CTP and or casino action.
Tee at 1:00 sharp. I will be there by 12:15 to take sign ups.
Come on out for the best weather of the week and help us raise some cash for the Ice Bowl..

We had a great turnout with 34 players. The weather was perfect.
I sold mulligans and I am happy to report we raised $126 for the Ice Bowl. Normal Mullies were $120 and Richard Mitchell donated $6 from his winnings.
There were two CTP's. The paid CTP was won by Lee Joshua. I donated some stuff for the other one and Jesse Carlisle won.

Better to be a week early rather than a week late..
The mini season is almost here. Slim started a couple of weeks ago but the rest of us get fired up again next week.
Our season normally runs from April through September. That is a LOT of mini's..
Our April schedule is now posted on the TDSA website.
A full month to say the least!!

If you play only the mini's for the month of April and no other weekend tournaments, it will run you just short of $200 for the month. Throw in another 2 to 3 tournaments and you're looking at $350 for the month and its just APRIL!

Agreed, there are a TON of mini's out there to sink your $$$ into...this is my first mini season and it seems hard to find a day that you CAN'T play on in April, which is pretty awesome in my book. Has is been like this in years past or is this year just insane?

back when i started playing there was a mini at a random locaation on tuesdays, another random loaction mini on thursdays, and plenty of open weekends to have minis like "birdie hunt", "2/2", "alternating arms",etc...
mind you that was in the late 90s.
