Thanks to everyone for their kind words...

I can speak for both halves of TnT when I say it was a privilege to host such a fine people for the benefit of such a fine Club.

The only bad part for me was looking out at the people playing their morning round at McClure and wishing I was out there.

Just a bit nervous. Just enough to keep me alert and ready.

As I make my way to the teebox for my first drive of the day, my buddies and I all give high-fives.

I can smell the park swirling in my nostrils.

I can feel the concrete pad, worn smooth be countless converse and Birkenstock and bare feet.

Then I get the rush as I take aim, and feel my body moving in that familiar fashion.

Quick and abrupt, but with a smooth finish.

I see my shot racing from my hand...

There is nothing quite like that first hole of a tournament.

I want to extend a big thanks to everyone involved in this years Green Country Doubles.

Thanks to Andrew for being a great partner. He worked really hard and he wanted this tournament to be as perfect as possible.

The volunteers were all great. Joe, Keldog, John and Carla Barton were solid as always. Furdog helped out Sunday in a big way on Red 14. Wayne Forest is always there when you need him with lots of good advice.

Jay Slack brought on two great lunches as always. He is a big asset to our scene here thats for sure..

The players were all so cool. We had a few mix ups and questions but everyone was very professional and polite.

Thanks to BVA, Randy Wilson, Wade Largent and all of the other folks who helped clean Redhawk last week. Your work made a major difference. We all really appreciate your help.

I really hope I haven't missed anything. If I have thats what the edit button is for right...

Most of all it was great getting to see everyone and hang out for awhile..
