sorry about that, levi... I struggled with it, but founder's day celebrations on that saturday would have made it tough for players and the parks people alike. there WILL be doubles on saturday afternoon, though!

I do what I can. :)
I'm thinking about adding cash to only the top 5 positions in Open and in Advanced... at a 45/25/15/10/5 % split... thoughts?

Save your money :D...I'm on vacation durring that time and won't be able to play. :(
baldguy
Jan 23 2008, 01:06 PM
I said top 5... vacation or not, it wouldn't concern you ;)
I know lots of people complain about the PDGA's payout structure and I think I can fix that a little bit by making the top 5 payout a bit beefier. As long as this is cool with the PDGA (so far it looks like it will be), I think I'm going to do it. The amount just depends on how much sponsorship I can raise :)
baldguy
Jan 24 2008, 07:55 PM
PDGA sanctioning is now complete!
be sure to check out the sponsorhip opportunities. This is going to be a big event with (hopefully) a decent amount of added cash. Registration will be available soon!
BTW - This event will likely play a big part in the City of Rockwall's decision to build one or two new courses (or not to build them). Beware that no illegal or otherwise family-inappropriate conduct will be tolerated. We're going to have as close to a world-class event as we can get in a 1-day c-tier :). If this one goes well... next year's could easily end up being two courses, both in Rockwall!

update:
I have confirmation from the PDGA that I can distribute added cash as I see fit. That means I can help make the top 5 finishers' (in both MPO and MA1) payout a bit more juicy :)
Not to leave the ladies out, I'm also working on some salon gift certificates for the top pro woman and the top advanced woman! These are direct from a very popular Rockwall-area salon and will hopefully be a great reward for whoever wins them!

sponsorship opportunities available for the titleDISC Open are detailed on our forums.
Any local (Rockwall, Garland, Rowlett) businesses that are interested in getting involved with this event please contact me (jdann @ discgolfportal.com) and I can help you decide which package is best for your business. We are accepting CTP sponsors (gift certificates, mechandise, etc) and cash sponsors. Each and every sponsor will get more than their money's worth in advertising and the local economy will appreciate the increase in business :)

so the added cash situation is going to change slightly... kindof a culmination of all the ideas we've had. Info is on the registration page on titledisc.com, but the reader's digest version is this:
assuming we get enough added cash (including a gift certificate for 1st place FW1), it's going to happen as follows: 1st-3rd in MPO will get the bulk of the added cash. 1st and 2nd in FPO will get the rest of it. 1st place MA1 and FW1 will get donated merch added to their prize, with FW1 getting a gift certificate to the hair salon mentioned upthread. depending on the merch donations, 1st place MA1 will most likely get a dollar amount added to payout. It all depends on what gets donated and how much.
This is going to be a pretty sweet payout for a 1-day C-tier :)

18 pre-registered already with what looks to be a strong showing from the newer local golfers. This event is shaping up to be a great one.
Don't forget about doubles on Saturday! I will be there all day to allow for flex starts between 10:00am and 4:00pm. I will stick around until about 7:00pm to take any last-minute registrations and collect scores from the doubles rounds. There should be some merchandise available for sale during that time as well.
Let me reinforce this message: this tournament *will* cap at 100 players and registration *will* close Saturday night. If we are not at 100 by Saturday, May 31st, I will take registrations during doubles that day, but I will not take any registrations during check-in on Sunday. I'm not trying to exclude anyone, but the rounds will not be short ones and I want to get started on time.
I hope to see you all out there!

22 players now. heading to bed... will it hit 30 tomorrow?
We will be having an E.D.G.E. benefit raffle as well, including *at least* an Innova traveler basket, some other Innova schwag, a couple of tournament discs and if the money raised gets up to $500, I'll include an unthrown CE Firebird signed by many of Innova's Star and Champion team members including *both* of the top-rated players in TX and 3 world champions! Tickets will be $2 apiece with a discount for multiple tickets. bring some folding money to the event :)
How about a free tournament-stamped disc to the *attending player* who correctly guesses the date that the event will fill? Simple rules: first post with the correct date, from a player that attends - wins the disc. Any takers?

okay, I stole most of this from my own post about the Waco tournament, but it applies to the titleDISC Open as well:
I strongly encourage everyone to pre-register for this tournament via titleDISC.com, or in person at A-Z doubles. Click http://www.titledisc.com/eventDisplay.php?eventid=331 for a direct link to the online pre-registration page. Snail-mail registration isn't quite as reliable but can be sent to:
titleDISC
3000 Blake St.
Corinth, TX 76210
Include the following information (a form will be available soon):
Name (First and Last)
PDGA Number
Division
Telephone number
and of course, the entry fee in the form of a check or money order. Make all checks out to titleDISC.
All snail-mail entries *must* be postmarked by Monday, May26th or they will be refused. In the event that a snail-mail entry arrives after the division is full, I will contact the player and offer a refund or a spot in a higher division, if one is available. If (in that situation) no spots are available or the player does not qualify for any of those spots, the entry will be refunded.
See you all in Rockwall!

The City has committed to mowing fairways and doing any necessary shule trimming before the tournament. They're also providing a Gator work vehicle, a tournament board, and some rehydrating stations (water coolers :D). Gotta love the City of Rockwall. This parks department is really dedicated to growing our sport and providing us with a beautiful place to spend the weekend. Let's show them how much fun a professional disc golf tournament can be!

baldguy
May 12 2008, 11:30 AM
yep, 31 spots taken so far so that means 69 left for all divisions, with 9 more held for MPO. Three weeks before the event, that's not too shabby :).
I already have $100 in-hand for sponsorship with another $150 or so that has been promised. It's a bit late for t-shirt or mini sponsors, but the following sponsorship levels are still available:
$50 website / players meeting / program mention. plus all of my gratitude :)
$100 one teesign plus all of the $50 level benefits, and bonus gratitude. Free collector's tournament disc!
$150 two teesigns, two discs, logos everywhere, and a bunch more gratitude!
Of course, the cheapest and easiest way to sponsor this event is through the purchase of a CFR disc. only 20 are left, so please PM me if you've already signed up but want to purchase a CFR disc. If you haven't yet signed up, you can add the CFR disc to your order! $25 for one disc or $40 for two. These are a very limited run, so get them while they last and help support the tournament!

baldguy
May 12 2008, 12:05 PM
Mace should have some in his payout, although they are not available yet for tournament-stamping. I was disappointed by that, but I think I'll have plenty of stamped discs anyway
update: I realized today that I messed up a bit on the entry fee pricing. nothing major but it was an inconsistency that I had to fix. Only 5 players overpaid by $5, and one underpaid by $10. I will cover the underpay myself and refund the 5 players who overpaid. Sorry for the confusion! My brain apparently took an extended lunch the day I set those prices
Anyway, the prices are correct now so there will be no more issues with that. Any more guesses as to when the event will fill? Ray, I don't see your name on the pre-reg list :)

update:
We will have CFR destroyers as planned, but are adding 25 CFR Glow starfires! and if I can swing it (meaning if Innova will let me do a small quantity)... maybe another mold that is rarely produced in CFR plastic :D
Aside from the CFR goodies, there will also be tournament-stamped Aviars, Glo Ontario Rocs, Champion Wraiths, and Star Wraiths. I'm ordering tournament-stamped minis for Am players packs, too.
$50 Sponsors will get their choice of all but the CFR discs. $100 sponsors and above can choose from any of the tournament-stamped discs, including CFR!
Of course, in addition to the tournament-specific merchandise, MaceMan Disc Golf will be providing a full selection of pick-your-own plastic that will have something for everyone. He has everything from generic Innova and Discraft discs to custom stamped discs, shirts, hats, chairs, disc retrievers, you name it.
Harry Myers Park is a very family-friendly environment. If you have friends or family that does not want to compete but might enjoy learning about Disc Golf and experiencing the atmosphere of a tournament, pass along the info! There is a "sprayground" near the pavilion for the kiddos to keep cool in. There is a sizeable pond to do some fishing or picnicking around. This truly is one of the best family parks around, with one of the best Disc Golf courses alongside it.
I will try and have some pictures up within the next week or so but for now you can check out Mr. Houck's course design site for Harry Myers Park here:

just 31 spots left, with two of them guaranteed to the Open division. I know of at least 5 people who are supposed to be signing up tonight or tomorrow... let me re-iterate: There will be no registration the day of the event, even if spots are left (which doesn't look likely). There will be a hard limit at 10 players, and there's nothing I can do about that. that's 5 players per hole on a 20-hole course. 100 is the max we can handle.
A couple more things to note:
Saturday:
we will have doubles as planned, but try to carpool or get there pretty early if you can. The parking lot will be very full because of the Founder's Day celebration. There is overflow parking across the street which we will likely need to use, but the earlier you get there, the better off you'll be :). After your doubles round (or before, or both) you can walk the 1/2 mile into downtown Rockwall and take part in all the festivites! The Founder's Day celebration will be going from 10:00am till 10:00pm, so there will be plenty to do besides disc golf. I'm 99% sure the City is going to have a DisCatcher basket set up in the square as a demo with some flyers being handed out to promote the sport. I'll have to check back with them to be sure, but if they do go that route, it would be super-cool for some of you pro-types who will be in town for oubles to stop by the parks and rec booth and talk to folks about the sport. If you're interested in this little bit of charity DG promotion, please PM or call me at 214-868-2996.
Sunday:
The disc golf course will be closed to casual play. Signs will be posted and we do have the east pavilion reserved, but just in case you were planning to play casual golf on Sunday, June 1st, it won't be in Rockwall :). Also, I have had a few generous offers of water and cooler donation so we should have plenty of water on the course, but *please* bring some of your own. It's Texas and it's going to be pretty warm. Also, Harry Myers park is a very popular family-use park, so please keep that in mind. I'll rope off the tee areas that might get close to park traffic but I'll need cooperation from all the players, too. Let's be sure that DG remains a very positive thing in Rockwall!
Other than that, I have to say thanks to all of you who have signed up so far! I'll do everything I can to make this a great event, but it wouldn't be anything without your support.
oh, and...

Thanks to Kathy Brandon (and her orange husband Ray :D) for becoming our newest sponsor via the Ready for Happiness Group! Our added cash is now enough to bump up MPO, FPO (if any sign up), MA1 and FW1. A few more CFR sales and the payout could become quite nice :). If you want to purchase a CFR disc or sponsor with cash or prizes, please PM me, email to jdann@discgolfportal.com or call 214-868-2996.

I know of at least 3 more people who are supposed to sign up today, and there just may be a few in the mailbox this afternoon... I cannot stress enough that 100 is a *hard limit* that cannot be exceeded. one more spot is guaranteed to MPO. If we get that tenth, I will guarantee at least $250 for 1st place in Open. 1st place Advanced is looking like it will be over $150... If we sell some more CFR discs and/or get a few more hole sponsors, it will be even better :)

It's starting to look like ReddMan might win a free disc. He's sneaking in on a technicality since he's playing doubles :). If he ends up with the correct guess but doesn't make it to doubles... his free disc will go into the Ring of Fire :D
What will the format consist of?
Are the open & advanced divisions the only playing the longs ?
baldguy
May 19 2008, 02:01 PM
it's posted all over the place, discbagger ;)
All Pro and Advanced divisions plus Intermediate Men will play one round from the longs in the morning, then one from the shorts in the afternoon. All other divisions will play two rounds from the shorts. With the two extra holes, there are only 10 long teeboxes out of the 20 holes, adding less than 900 feet of distance total. If I was a betting man, I'd bet that the SSA from the longs will be about 7 strokes higher although the par calculation won't make some folks happy just because the long pads create several "tweener" holes. I'm still working on a more accurate calculation of par for these holes.
FYI - there will be "new" mandos on holes 3, 5, 8, 10, 11, 12, and 17a. Most of these affect the long pads only and almost all of them are to help limit the nuber of errant shots that could affect play on adjacent holes. There will be a few OB areas that aren't currently marked on the teesigns, but nothing too crazy. All "new" mandos and OB will be marked with spraypaint or string.

Mark Reddoch (ReddMan) guessed that the tournament would fill today, May 19. If he is right, he wins a free disc, as long as he is an "attending player". In the event that he can't make it... he forfeits the free disc into the Ring of Fire prize pool

I would love for each and every player on this list to be able to play, but I think we'd need another course :). Take heart, though. The City of Rockwall notices things like this. Having the tournament fill with this much of a waiting list, almost 2 weeks in advance... they can see that another top-quality course in Rockwall would definitely bring out the players. Next year I will try and secure a second course, even if it has to be temporary (or in a nearby city ), as long as it is comparable in quality. If that happens I will hopefully be able to bump next year's event up to a two-day B-tier.

The CFR Gators are only available to those who have sponsored at the teesign level and above. They are $25 each, just like the others, but are not eligible for the multiple-disc discount. Currently, the following individuals and businesses have the opportunity to purchase one of these super-limited discs:

Tee times could allow up to 150 through the course twice, but there wouldn't be a big players meeting before. The awards would be close to dark, but if it started with rec - pros, the rec players could get paid out and go follow the pros and the same all the way up through advanced. There would be no big crowd for each groups awards

May 20 2008, 03:07 PM
I thought about adding one hole, but I really only have two options there...
split hole #3
this is the signature hole and I'd hate to eliminate one of the best par 5 holes in disc golf! It *would* help a lot with tournament flow, though... but I dunno
Add a basket to the left side of #17's fairway
This would make two boring holes out of one that's already somewhat boring. Not a win-win, but at least it's another hole and I wouldn't have to split #3.
Either option would add about 20 minutes to rounds that are already going to be really long.
If I did tee times, we'd never get both rounds in on Sunday. I could do a split start... that would mean starting a couple of divisions about an hour in front of the others, then starting the rest. It would allow for another 12 players or so... basically everyone on the waiting list... but logistically it would mean a longer day of golf for everyone.
I think we're better off sticking with the plan and focusing on ways to make next year's event hold more people. I hate to turn folks away, but registration has been open for a month and the 100-person limit has been posted the whole time. I know that situations arise where people don't know that they can play early enough to register... so next year I want to increase the field size and give a lot more people the opportunity to play. Given the overwhelmingly positive response this year, I don't doubt that we will be able to fill two courses next year.
The good news is that everyone who wants to will be able to play doubles on Saturday (5/31)! Also, anyone who plays doubles, even if they don't play the tournament itself, will be welcome to enter the raffle and Ring of Fire contest with everyone else. Of course, I'll welcome anyone who didn't get registered in time but wants to hang out on Sunday and help :)

May 20 2008, 03:12 PM
I'm not sure how tee times help in getting more players through the course. You only have so many hours in the day of daylight. If you do tee times, there is daylight time that holes have no people playing them. If you wanted to get more people through the course than just 2 rounds X 5 X # of holes, you could start earlier, finish later, ensure the skill level and player placement is carefully planned, and ensure people are always playing the course (i.e. during lunch) and probably get 4 rounds in between multiple flights of players. I fail to see how that is possible with tee times. Of course, we're talking about Rockwall here...a 20-hole round there full with 5-person cards will be a 4+ hr. round; I don't think 4 rounds is possible, even in 16 hours of daylight. The only way to work it out would be to have 3 rounds, but whoever has to play the middle round would end up playing back-to-back rounds with no break somehow.

I agree it's not best to change things this close to the tourney. For next year, tee times can get more people through a course twice than shotgun starts. I've ran 2 tournies that way and got 142 players through with an hour to spare of daylight during the third weekend of May. It is much easier on staff since you have cards coming in approximately every 7 minutes and when a division is complete you post the next tee times. You will already know a tee range for each division for their 2nd round. You do have to get relief out to staff/spotters, but all that is easily done with some planning.
We can talk about it for next year if you want after this years event has put in the books

I think hole 3 is a very good hole and challenges players at every shot. However, I think the flow of the tournament may be helped quite a bit by splitting hole 3 into two holes.
There are three points of delay that come into play with 3 at full length. Of course there is the issue of having to cross the fairway to get from hole 8 to 9 causing delays on both holes. There is a problem with discs that come into the area around hole 9's tee box by deflection or purpose and some chance of interfering with hole 10's basket(either waiting for them to putt out before driving, or getting knocked down close enough to interfere with them putting out).
You need to keep the tee shot for hole three intact, but remove any benefit from going anywhere near hole 9's tee area.
You need to keep the demanding second shot across the bowl in play on the second hole. By placing the tee for the second box halfway to hole 8's basket, you will be giving most players a view of the approach they have never seen before.
But that's just my opinion of how the increase the flow while keeping the drama and challenge of the hole intact.

If I came from out of town to play this event and couldn't play that hole I would be upset.
oceanjones
May 20 2008, 04:57 PM
I personally doubt that the flow (waiting on three's fairway to clear to cross from 8 to 9) really causes any noticeable delays. You have to remember that there will most likely be a bit of a wait on 9 anyway...I bet the short on that hole averages +4 for advanced and below. You're coming off of 8 (easiest hole on the course) to 9 (one of the hardest). There will be a delay there...in fact I bet 9's delay will be longer than 3's...after 2nd shots on 3 a lot of cards will be able to start playing the hole...on 9 though you can't really do that...cause what if you throw a great shot...you'd end up killing someone on 9's fairway.
Don't break up the best hole in North Texas!
Disclaimer: I will not be playing this event due to scheduling conflicts. :(

May 20 2008, 05:02 PM
I never said it was a good option,(or even one that I liked) just one that may need to be considered because of the sheer number of players and the delays that come into play because of the lay of the land.
I do believe that the two holes that come from it would be interesting enough to be worth playing. There would be one very long downhill birdie chance (with a perfect throw), and one very tough Par 4 over widest part of the bowl.
baldguy
May 20 2008, 05:39 PM
I won't be splitting #3 although Gary's description is exactly how I *would* do it. In fact, I have a "flood contingency plan" that will only be used if holes 5-7 become unplayable due to high water... if that happens, hole #3 will need to be split, but I don't think that's going to happen :). Before this tournament was ever scheduled or officially announced, I looked at the options and decided (with a lot of feedback from players) that #3 needed to remain intact if at all possible.
As for #17, I'm excercising some "creative control". If it's a signature hole, it's not a very good one, IMHO, at least not for tournament play. unlike hole #3, two groups cannot realistically play the fairway at once since 90% of the hole's difficulty is pure distance. A mando would need to be added to avoid interference with the amphitheater (which will be in place anyway on 17a for the same reasons), taking away the long arms' ability to "cut the corner". It just doesn't flow well for tournament play... but I think you will all like 17a, playing from 17's normal long pad up to a basket in the cedars. splitting that hole makes much more sense to me than splitting #3.
Of course, I will be asking for lots of feedback *after* the tournament. If the majority of players would rather see long #17 played than #17a, then next year it will (most likely) be so :).
My primary goal for this event is to give players a chance to have fun and compete on one of DFW's best courses. I also want to show the City of Rockwall that they are sitting on a gold mine! Another course of that caliber in Rockwall would put them on the Disc Golf map in a big way, giving DFW an even better shot at hosting Worlds sometime in the not-so-distant future.
Anyway, I hope that everyone will thoroughly enjoy the course in the configuration we're using. Of course there is always room for improvement and I intend to use every bit of feedback I can get to make next year's event even better!
I'm so enamored with what EDGE is doing for the sport that I'm about 90% sure that the 2nd titleDISC Open will benefit EDGE exclusively. As it sits, we're already going to be able to send them a nice little bonus, of which the majority will be earmarked for activites in Texas. Be sure to dig deep for raffle ticket money! Here's a short list of some items we will be giving away:
- Unthrown Last Run CE Firebird, signed by many members of the Innova Champion and Star teams
- Innova Traveler practice basket
- Gift certificates to local restaurants and businesses
- EDGE CFR discs
- a bunch of other donated plastic!
and *maybe*
an Innova Discatcher mini-basket! (I haven't decided what I'm doing with this one yet... but if enough tickets are sold, it's going in the raffle :))

I agree that 17 is not a signature hole. It is kinda cool from the longs, but really nothing special. From the shorts it is one of the most boring holes on the course.
I played it yesterday and the course looks great. Looks like the city is letting some of the grass grow taller to simulate "rough".
Anybody need an advanced partner for doubles the day before the Title Disc Open?
Logistically this may not be the best idea ( it would require 1 ghost card ) But you could ......
At the start of the round , do not start anybody on hole 2 . That would leave a gap in play that would absorb the time it take to complete hole 3 ... In theory , the initial gap could continue the entire round . Put the ghost card on a little dinker hole , like 18 perhaps ...

Donovan, I replied to your email but just in case:
The cutoff for teesign sponsorship is Thursday, 5/29 and only because that's when I'll be printing up the teesigns :). Any other sponsorship via CTP disc, merch donation, or even a few dollars in cash is welcome through Saturday, 5/31. You can send funds via PayPal to paypal@discgolfportal.com or via cash/check in person. Merch of course would need to be in person unless you feel like spending the money to ship it :). I will be at the Vet tonight collecting sponsorship and playing golf. Tomorrow night I will be at Greenbelt in Carrollton, and Saturday I will be in Rockwall most of the day.
If you do want to sponsor a hole, please email me the logo or text you would like printed on the sign. Thanks in advance!

It is confirmed, we will have a total of 25 CFR Destroyers, 20 CFR Glo Starfires, and 5 CFR Gators!
The CFR Gators are only available to those who have sponsored at the teesign level and above. They are $25 each, just like the others, but are not eligible for the multiple-disc discount. Currently, the following individuals and businesses have the opportunity to purchase one of these super-limited discs:
Charles Cox III
The Ready for Happiness Group
Chambre Salon
OMB vs. YGB
Funkytown Flyers
Any of the TDO-stamped CFR gators not purchased by those named above will be purchased by titleDISC as additional sponsorhip. They will not be available to the general public :)

Hey if anyone from Houston is playing in this tourney, you should come to Austin and play the Quickie then head to D-Town. There is camping and lodging available at TPCC and I'm sure you wont mind staying at a disc golf C.C.

The list says that I am on the waiting list for MA1, I will play in any division that my rating allows. That would be MA2, MA1, or MPO. Please don't limit my entry, if by chance the waiting list allows me to enter. I also dont understand why it is not a first come first served waiting list. Everyone had the same chance to sign up, I blew it and now I am on the waiting list and people are placed in front of me because of discremination of sex. it basically *is* a first-come-first-served waiting list. The seabolts want to be let in as a pair, though... so unless I have two people drop out on the same day, they are going to be difficult to get in. Also, as it sits right now I have a card of ladies playing short tees the first round with one advanced master (he volunteered to play with the ladies... you'll never guess who it is :D) who is playing from the longs the first round. That is bad juju. This situation only arose because a woman dropped out, so it makes the most sense to fill her spot with another woman. When I initially filled it however, there were no women on the waiting list.
With a full course, there has to be a bit more control of division breakdown than simply first-come-first-served. I let it fill up that way (except for limiting MA3 to 25 players) but now I have to be sure that I'm following PDGA guidelines with regards to mixing Am divisions with Pro divisions. The only time I'll take one player over another is if I have to. If another spot opens up, it needs to be filled by an amateur woman.

back on topic, I want to remind everyone that doubles on Saturday, May 31st is flex-start 10a-4p, bring-your-partner, and no pre-registration or waiting list necessary. Given the number of registered players for the Sunday event who have not yet played Harry Myers Park, plus the number of players that won't be able to play the Sunday event... I'm expecting a pretty large turnout for doubles.
- There will be four divisions: Am Women, Intermediate, Advanced, and Open.
- All Am divisions are $20/team and Open is $30/team.
- All divisions will play from the short pads for doubles.
- There is a minimum of two teams per card and a maximum of three.
- Am payouts are in merchandise, Pro in cash.
- The tournament acepot does not apply to the doubles event, however I encourage everyone to play 51 with their card
Parking will be somewhat of an issue Saturday, but we will have room for everyone. Carpool if you can, play early if you can, but definitely come out and play :)

the course was looking great this past weekend and thanks to the Bitners, I now have paint, flags, and tape with which to mark off OB, mandos, etc. The City has cleared a nice putting green for 17a and a nice teebox for 17b. the majority of the shrubbery that was clogging up fairways is now gone, but there is still plenty of rough to get lost in, so spotting is a must!
I will have the new Mandos and OB lines marked on Friday, with flags at the temporary pin locations and teeboxes. Saturday I will have the course in tournament form for doubles and other practice play. CFR discs *should* be available for delivery starting tomorrow. Those who have already purchased a disc or two (or four) can pick them up from me either at the Vet mini tomorrow (Assuming that they arrive tomorrow), at Greenbelt in Carrollton on Thursday, or at the Rockwall course Friday afternoon through Sunday. I will also have leftover tournament-stamped CFR Destoyers, CFR Glo Starfires, Wraiths, Glo Ontario Rocs and DX Aviars for sale at those times and places for anyone who is interested.

I was out there yesterday...course is looking great! The new drainage ditch/stream on #4 helped keep that hole very dry, even after the previous night's rains...also they added crushed limestone low water crossing on #6 and big limestone blocks to the ditch on hole #9 between the tees and another in the fairway ditch to make crossing those very easy.

thanks for the kind words :)
Mandos, dropzones, and OB are marked. teesigns will be posted tomorrow. course is in fantastic shape!
I will be at the course by 8:15 or so in the morning so that folks can start at 8:30. Early is best, especially if you want to play multiple rounds. I'll be set up near the parking lot between holes 18 and 1. See everyone this weekend!

ReddMan confirmed. We are ready :)
I had issues getting the programs printed at OfficeMax today so they won't be ready for the doubles round, but scorecards and teesigns did get done. The programs were really meant for Sunday anyway so I'll just get them printed tomorrow. We are good to go!
