Does anyone have any information about the Victoria Open. It hasn't been updated on the tour page but I've heard that it is going to be the weekend of February 23. Does anyone know when the doubles round will start on Friday? This was an awesome event last year and I recomend that you make it if you have the time.

Victoria Open will take place on February 23-24. Details are being worked out to ensure that this is the best Open ever. More info to come very soon.

Victoria last year was the first time I played a real tournament. This year I hope to improve my score and not come in dead last. Hopefully the tournament will show up on the tour card soon. If I remember correctly I paid through paypal directly to the TD. Does anyone know if that's the way their doing it this year?

The club has the permit for camping. So, no, individuals do not need to get their own permits.

The PDGA was going to make 950+ Expert but they cahnged it at the last minute. I wonder how many ADV 900-949 would have moved up? I would have played up to the ADV if they had stuck with that plan.

Seems to me that this particular tournament at least is evidence that the Intermediates and Recs really like to play in large divisions and are willing to play over our heads if it means more competition (thus more fun usually.) I just don't see why a new division was even created considering how things seem to be going for most tourney signups. Oh well.. I can't wait to play Victoria, chances are I'll be at the bottom of the huge intermediate group, but I'm thinking this may be one of the best tournament experiences yet... can't wait.
