Player's list is up on the schedule page. Tournament plans are in high gear and the event is one you can't miss. Inncolor fundraiser's are available for $30 for one or 2 for $50, we have rocs and aviars. We have a raffle for a basket and a Revolution Back Pack for $5 a ticket also.6 weeks out ladies, let's get signed up.

I just registered for the twc, I am coming from WA. I will be staying at my parents house in Lewisville just off 35 and I was wondering if I could get a ride with someone heading to the tournament. I was also wondering about places to stay down there, can anyone help me out with some information? Thanks

Becca - looking @ the list, most of the ladies coming from Texas are coming from the San Antonio & Houston area (South of here). I'll put a call into some Okie ladies to see if they could get you on the way down & we'll see if V can't round up some North Texas ladies that could bring you down. We've got a good rate for Round Rock hotels @ the Wingate - mention TWC & the PDGA & see if you can't get both discounts. I bet you'll be able to find a ladie to share the room with (my house is already full, but I'll check with the other local ladies to see if they have room). Will let you know what I can come up with. :)

Lala and Becca, my car is full...I'm bringing three other Okie ladies with me. And we're staying with a friend of mine who lives north of Austin, but she has a three month old baby so with four of us already staying there, it's full too. I hope you can figure out some arrangements! It's so nice to see women from all over the map coming to this event! Becca, you most definitely won't regret the trip! This event is always top-notch and un-missable! (Is that even a word!?)

I'm sure those Dallas girls are just slow to sign up. Will ask around this weekend.

Hey Vinnie, on the website it says that this is an "A tier for Pro/Advanced and B tier for all other divisions" on the PDGA tournament schedule it says A tier for Pros and B tier for Ams. Can I get some clarification on this. Also I will not be attending the Dann wedding so I will be making it down.. :)

Atier for all Advance and pro divisions
Btier for all the rest
Atier requires PDGA membership,
Btier you can pay the $10 fee
In other words ladies in the am fields that may only play one or two tournies will not have to become PDGA members

Sad to hear with almost 20 ladies from TX going to AL that no one from your area is coming here for TWC. :( Those Alabma girls are missing a great event & a GREAT time.

The Pinnacle course has been mowed.

Fairways, cut to the basket reward the straight shot, TALL grass rough will challenge all. With the rain Fri, the course is "sticky". Juniors, prepare for a muddy walk.

If you have played the course before, we will be shortening hole #6 and using an Alt tee for hole #7. Hole #4 will remain long and up hill, there is no "dry/mud free" place for an Alt tee. (of course, you all are not as heavy as I am, shouldn't sink in as deep)

I look forward to watching the future of woman's golf play Saturday. Good luck to all.

One thing I hope is handled better in coming years is facilities, port a poties, "the can man" whatever you choose to call them.......

HAVE SOME, AT LEAST ONE WHEN AIMING FOR THE 100 PLAYER MARK.

To expect 78 ladies to survive without facilities of any kind any where near the courses is poor planning for an A-tier event.

And no food on Sunday at the course, I hope that will change for next year, too.

The courses were great considering Mother Nature's wrath, and compared to last year's Sunday weather........a virtual cakewalk this time round.

porta potties could not be delivered to Wilco cause of the mud.
We are purchasing a camping porta potty incase it comes an issue next year.
And food on Sunday would of been nice....maybe next year we can obtain a sponsor for Sunday food.....but with average of 250% added accross the board. I think we did pretty good.

We had such a good time this year. As always the staff did a great job, and all of the escorts were wonderful. Seeing that many women playing golf almost brought tears to my eyes. Seeing Vinnie is a skirt....did. Love the fact when Des was saying her speech, you could have heard a pin drop. Thats respect! Also, it meant the world to me to have the current World Champ, Val, tell the juniors (my daughter included) that she was one of them when she was little. That is so awesome and inspirational to the lil ones I am sure. One of my favorite things about TWC is the flowers donated. It is one of the things that gives the event a different atmoshpere. It was so GREAT to see everyone again. I MISS YALL SO MUCH!!!! See you next year!

Thanks to everyone involved. What a wonderful tournament. I'm just beginning to understand the tremendous amount of time and effort involved in these tournaments. Wow! I had a fantastic time and will be there next year. :D

Why can't we see the ratings?

you can only see the ratings when it is unofficial from the schedule page once it goes to official ratings are removed but they will be part of the next ratings update on may 19
