Stay on 183 about 10 miles past I10, you'll hit 90A. Take a left, 5 minutes later you're in Gonzo.

The "old guys" who shot a 65 Wed., will be there by 7:15 because we can't remember what the course looks like. We'll probably have to stop and ask for directions. We'll probably forget them too! :confused:

Course looks great today. Even though they just mowed today, that grass is THICK, and was a bit of a chore to slog through with that 100+ (with heat index) temps.

Start hydrating tonight if you haven't already. Also, bring some bug spray as the chiggers were out in force, even in the fairways.

Great tournament,everything ran super smooth except my game. :DI couldnt make a putt to save my life.I would like that recipe for the beans as well,those had to be the best beans that I have ever eaten,did you see the way they cooked them- Aluminum barrel;and the Boar was great as well.

Major props to 3rd Coast, Felipe and the Gonzales Lions! Another great event in a great little town! Props to Robbie P for the win and to Trent for that pure shot on #17. No doubt it was in. I tried to steal some of that money on the bridge, but I hit the pole.

Gonzo was a great time. I've been to a couple of 3rd Coast events and you guys always do a great job and things run smoothly. Props to the staff from the city of gonzo that hepled out. It was great to see the community come out and support that event. And the course ... oh what a course. It was in great condition and played really well. Also thanks to whoever decided that I got to play 16 in the first 2 holes on both rounds. I'll definately be back to the next event in Gonzo.

Another word about those beans...

Kat hates anything spicy...and she was raving about those beans on our drive into Austin Saturday night.

Um, how do you end up going around #1's basket enroute to #9?

At least when I took my 6 on that hole I never left the fairway. Never threw a shot more than 200', but never left the fairway.

its called grip locking your tee shot way right. He was looking for his disc by tee pad # 2 found it and than I said hey throw it around the big tree by # 1 than you should be able to see # 9's basket. He tried but not sure what he got. he made it around the big tree by # 1. so I was wondering if he got the up and down for the 4.

I threw right off the box then threw a hyzer around the tree on #1. Pretty easy forehand from there and took a 4.

If I remember correctly, he took a 4 on hole 9 (I was on his card). He gripped lock his drive right at the big tree on the right, but got an air bounce at the last moment that lifted it above the trees and carried it into the middle of 2's fairway.
