why couldnt u have made it in late march when I have break then we coulda had a real frizzak manunit clash, as of now i think school will get in the way, also there were not tournaments on of the middle weeks in march i think the 14th or something.

Like i said...its a mandatory attendance tourney...You can take friday off...leave thursday after class...You get here 12 pm. Practice on friday. The tourney is only one round on Sunday, so you can make it back up in time for some sleep before class on monday.

In a perfect world I would be there in a heart beat. I love Renny and love supporting new tournaments. But not getting out of work till around 6 is really limiting my travel this year. If I can find someone to go with me, chances will increase.

What color was the infamous Man Unit shirt?

I seem to remember it as turquoise with hot pink letters. I have not deviated from this color scheme.

it was light blue with orange lettering, that because of its background the drunks thought it was pink.

It was an exactly complimentary color to the shirt, it fought with your eyes and made retinas burn. Probably distracting to play near, you might want to go with one for tournament rounds, much like my obnoxious hawaiian batik dyed shirt. :)

So thinking of jumping into the Intermediate Div. and joining the fun....but I think if I buy a disc, it should come wiht a cheat sheet explaining or deciphering the many TTeams and Clubs on it, so I know what i am reading... kind of like a "cliff's notes for FRIZZAK DISC" for the uneducated, unafilliated new to tourney players like me....maybe i will be in my own team..N.G.E.Y

I never underestimate the power of a good beer or 4...coupled with the persuasivness of friends or teammates....a very powerful force....but thats what makes being part of a team so much fun, seeing what you can get the others to do that you wouldnt attempt yourself....someone has to provide the entertainment of the evening.

One of the things I'm proudest about in my disc golf career is the fact that all these PDGA's I've played (including like 5 or 6 before I joined), I've only had 2 ever rounds without a 2.

Just got back from my first fantabulous trip up to Charlotte. I had a great time hanging out with all the folks I met, too many to name here. Big thanks to Matt Peckham (for photos and my first trip to Renny), David Gray (for a place to crash) and Ant Roe, RKelly, Stan "The Man", Mikey Jo, and the other Ant for showing me around the Gold Course in true style. What a sweet course! Ya'll are blessed there in Charlotte, keep up the good work!

Putting alot of work into renny for this tourney, put out 30 5 gallon buckets of gravel today on gold 4 and up on some new steps I built on gold 5 to heelp from slipping if it rains. Taking the weekend off to to play earlwood and come monday back to work at renny. A few more inprovements before the end of march but the course will be looking good.

For lightweights, Tasgall is their best beer or St. Teresa

IMO....

Heres what I do...


4 - throw a midrange i trust and hope i get down the gap - if i hit the gap, i throw a touch overstable mindrage s down the hill. unless i have almost an absolute teeshot, and maybe even if I do, im playing this hole for 4.

10 - unless you kill a tee shot, you really cant get to the green in two. b/c of this, i throw an avair off the tee b/c i trust i can hit the gap with an avair. i throw a little turnover and try to land past the rock. I then throw a stable roc up the hill to where the normal pin is located for original 14. Then, depending on the lie, a spike hyzer or a thumber to the pin.

But................3s on 4 and 10 are very possible and it might be the greatest feeling in discgolf.

I do throw a roc off 4s pad though.. For hole 10, I like to get that eagle, I try a power anny wraith...If you don't hit the drive its a pretty easy scrabble for 4 or even so a 5(par).

any other holes that your pondering?

i've 3'd 4....and a 3 on 10 would be huge....I'm just a more conservative golfers in situations like this
