I would MUCH rather sit at a table with pros than ams....The cards and the raises that people play at the towers is rediculous. I have seen more bad beats at the Towers than anywhere, including online.

I had one with Jeff where I was up 60 40 at the flop, then I was up 97 - 3 after the flop.

Or how about when I had pocket KK and made a very strong raise and someone called me and the board was 7 10 4 and I went all in and they called b/c they hit two pair with their 7 and 4's. Nice call on the pre-flop raise.

i hear ya, and I'm a real serious poker player. My weekly game is school was very serious. No one drank. No one stopped for smoke breaks. You miss your turn, you fold. And thats the kind of poker I enjoy.

when i woke up around 3-3.30 last saddiday night/sunday morning and realized how early i had passed out, i was preTTy confident i had been TTagged. i mean, before 11 in a house full of people... i would have tagged me given the opportunity. when i finally rolled into the bathroom to check on the sharpie art at 6.30, and observed the multiple TTs, ju-stars, reals, and random phallic symbols, i began reminicing about our illustrious TTag history. i concluded that the best TTagging was the infamous bS - TT facial. it was simplistic, symbolic, and gave such a clear, powerful message with 3 simple red lines. also, the block TT on the arm might have used half the sharpie juice. the worst might have been sliver sharpie night at the TTowers with TThe Pro being the sole TTag-ee. that was a lot of writing and the silver glistened so nicely under the flash of camera phones. plus, i heard removal was something of a chore.
