You are old, but I have only one eye and can still read it :D
The Sept 10-11 event replaces the Hooters Classic I did last year on that date. Nothing too much planned yet but it will be a 2 day B-tier at Twin Parks, the first PDGA event here. As I get things worked out I will let you know and post in on the website.
You coming at all this weekend Vinnie? We need fillers for the ping pong tournament :p

Mike when you made the reservation with Corey you didn't tell him you were bringing 2 kids with you? The rooms are not that big and we do not have any fold out beds for them. Just thought you should know. The other rooms are all booked out so there is nowhere else to sleep. Please let us know what you would like to do.
Please do not bring fireworks. This county is under a fire ban all weekend so we can not do anything. If the City of Dripping Springs does anything on Monday night we will be able to see them from the top of the hill. Again no fireworks are to be brought onto the property.
Thanks
Chris
Oh doo doo. I expected the girls to sleep on the floor. I specifically asked about a burn ban. Arg. Keep me on the list. I will give you an update tomarow. I just really want to find some place that will allow people to shoot off fireworks this year. I will keep you posted.
Would it be a problem to put the girls on a palet on the floor? I was going to bring quilts and pillows just for this reason.

If you bring bedding for your kids no worries but just remember there is not that much room with all the furniture. I will check with Park on the cost just in case. I will email you if the price is different to what was quoted.
Even if there is no burn ban we would not let anyone shoot off there own fireworks. The deal is if we do have any fireworks the staff here will do it all. The liability if just too big. Someone could loose an eye. /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

The "menu link" is not done. We are waiting to confirm the website content for Steady's. We are also waiting on some pro photos from last weeks wedding here so we can use those. I will be lurking all weekend with the camera to get photos for the new site.
Vinnie poker is on. We have a table and some chips. We are hoping to order some new good poker tables soon. Do you play pool?
Now Efrain stop picking spelling mistakes in my hard work and get back to doing what you do. :D

Actually, Vinnie, there is a burn ban (http://www.co.travis.tx.us/fire_marshal/default.asp) in Travis County...
With the severe drought conditions persistent throughout most of the state, I'd bet there isn't a county within 500 miles of here without a burn ban this weekend...

Bexar county does not have a burn ban. Thats the San Antonio and surrounding cities area.

Sounds great. The Solar mini is at 9pm which will take about 90 minutes but people are welcome to do either poker or pool while others are playing golf. You guys decide, I am going to win the ping pong tournament at 6pm then play some night golf. Can someone with one eye play pool?
Just put in an order for 1 QK. I cant wait to see how it flies. Thanks for picking up this special disc for the Cen TX DGers.

Maybe it is a biathlon style event combining disc golf and mountain biking. Bet no one has done that. /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
Probably cause they wouldn't get more than a few participants. :D
Is there anything special for the Sunday morning mini or is all the excitement being saving for the night round?

I'm playing in the glow round, but plan on getting out there Sat night, so maybe we can schedule a poker game Sat night? A single table tourney-style hold'em game would be perfect if we had 6-8 folks.
Chris put me down for one of those fancy frisbees please and I'll see you tomorrow (need to work on that Hill course.) Tracy and Corrina will be out Sun night after work just in time for the glow round.
Oh, and I plan on paying for my weekend in MA1 $$$. Just calling my shot, that's all. Forgive my bit of drunken hubris, but I'm on a roll. You Aussies know a bit about that, right?
How cool would that be A sanctioned Glow Event. Is this just a guess Or Josh Do you have inside Info .Dont keep us guessing Chris more hints Please> :D

Very enjoyable round yesterday evening. Great weather, beautiful hill country sunset, some decent golf...
Ya'll need to get your donkies out there next Monday and try to get a piece of that ace pot...I had three really nice runs at it last night (almost hit #1 again), Chris had at least 2 very close runs at it, and I heard enough cheers of expectation (followed by sighs of "what-could-have-been") across the course as others aparently had some good runs at it too.
Oh, yeah...and that was my first "Pro" cash, too! If you know you can beat me (or at least you think you can beat me ;)) then come take my money!

The scheduled 24 Hour Charity Marathon this weekend at Twin Parks is still on but nothing formal will be organized. I will be out of town for the weekend so Corey will be taking care of the clubhouse.
The Marathon players packs will be available for $25 if you want one. The solar lights on Parkshire will be on and playable for most of the night. The clubhouse hours this weekend will be the same as normal, 9am to around 9 or 10pm.
We have sold out of disc lights so if you want to play at night pick yourself some up from Academy on the way. We will have more in a week or so.
Thanks and have a good weekend. Don't forget about the PDGA C-tier that I will be here for on August 13.
Thanks
