They Said it: Women's Favorite Player Pack Items
Ideas plus TD player pack reference guide

Example of what can be found in a player pack: portable seat, hoodie, discs, mini, water bottle, towel
A few months ago we asked a question on our PDGA Women Facebook page:
What is your favorite or most unique item you've received in a player's pack?
Some of the more unique answers included a custom charcuterie board, a towel with a painting on it of a local course, and a disc the players got to stamp themselves.
The point of this question was to help TDs with player pack ideas for the 2026 Women's Global Event. We are offering up the new WGE logo for TDs to use as a way of creating a players pack that is custom to their event. Here's where the ideas will come in.
Favorite and Unique Items

"My daughter Hayden says any disc she was able to stamp herself… this one at Dynamic Discs was from her first PDGA Junior Disc Golf World Championships in 2021 in Emporia." – Cory Wiebusch

Farrow Moscoe commented, "GOAT golf towel with my painting of our local course on it!"
Other favorite player pack items mentioned:
- Socks
- Pins
- A charcuterie board with the player's name and PDGA # on it
- A rechargeable battery pack with the tournament name engraved on it
- Coffee mug with name and pdga number on it
- OB1 stick
- Engraved steel water bottle (still carrying it around from '17 Selinske)
- Stool with name and PDGA #
- Fans and cooling towels
- Water proof blue tooth JBL speaker
- Little bottle of bug spray
- A Dryve suction ball retriever
The only limit for what you can offer in a player pack is your imagination.
Melanie Hale, a member of the PDGA Women's Committee created a player pack reference for TDs for the upcoming WGE. Check that out below.
Player Pack Reference Guide
This document is intended to serve as a practical reference for Tournament Directors planning a PDGA Women’s Global Event (WGE). WGE tournaments vary widely in size, budget, and sponsor support, and there is no single “correct” players pack. Instead, this guide provides tiered item ideas, planning notes, and sponsorship considerations to help TDs build thoughtful, useful players packs that align with their event’s goals, resources, and community. The focus throughout is on utility, inclusivity, and value rather than novelty or excess.
