The PDGA has passed a milestone during membership processing this week. We are now assigning numbers in the 40,000s! We are growing as an association and will soon get the recognition we have all been waiting for. As our member base climbs so will our efforts in becoming a globally-recognized competitive sport.

A few new businesses have joined your Member Benefits. Microtel Inns & Suites and Hawthorn Suites are now part of the Wyndham Hotel Group discount which is 10% off your entire stay. Separate from Wyndham Hotel Group, our newest hotel to partner with us is Red Roof Inn. They are offering a 15% discount. In like, both Wyndham Hotel Group and Red Roof Inns are giving a percentage back to the PDGA. For your convenience these discounts and codes are printed on the reverse side of your membership card. Are you thinking about joining or renewing and just haven’t made that step? The PDGA needs you! The time is now as the season is underway! As a New member you will receive a lifetime membership number, 2009 member card, PDGA logo disc, personalized mini marker disc, rulebook, subscription to our quarterly magazine - DiscGolfer, subscription to Disc Golf U – a handicapping service for disc golf, access to our members only DISCussion Board, stickers and information regarding the PDGA tour. You will acquire points and ratings in events along the way and be able to track your stats online. Also, if you compete in a PDGA sanctioned event you will have discounted entry fees. Don’t forget, if you want to join as a family, your membership fees are reduced! We also offer a reduction for Affiliate Club members. Do you fall into this category? Ask your local officers if your club is part of the PDGA’s Affiliate Club Program. Economic times are tough and we want you to utilize your discounts.
