What an awesome first day of action at the Vibram Open!

The pride of Nockamixon State Park in eastern Pennsylvania, Devin Frederick, leads the Open division with a round of 53, 6 under course par of 59. TD Steve Dodge sets his course par at a very high standard, 1020, and shooting a round of 59 gave you almost exactly that - an official round rating of 1019. Course SSA is a whopping 61.5! :eek:

In the Open Women division, Sarah Hokom will sleep on a 2-throw lead.

A three-way tie for first place in Open Women, and a four-way tie for first place in Open Men, with swarms of others golfers nipping at their heels heading into the weekend. Could the PDGA NT Series closer possibly get any more exciting than this?!? :eek:
