The election results are in.

Only 19.21% of eligible voters even bothered to return a ballot.

Pathetic.

On the other hand, it may be that 80% of the members were satisfied with the current leadership and direction of the PDGA and that any of the BOD candidates would successfully continue?

Pathetic.

Couldn't agree more.

And couldn't be more upset that Mike Solt didn't get a spot on the BOD.

I guess that means my votes counted for roughly 5 members. Speaking for the unknown other 4, we're slightly disappointed.

I told Lorelei before both of us voted, who would be the top 3 because there were ONLY 3 names on the list that people across the country would recognize and they would win no matter if all 3 of thier candidate statements said "I hate all PDGA members" - because that's how it always is - If someone recognizes your name everywhere in the US - you have a great shot of getting elected.

Rothstein is now on like what, his 6th or 7th different time of being on the BOD?
What new stuff is going to be offered by him or Avery this time?

Lets see what comes out of the minutes in OCT that is new - and luckily the PDGA finally also has an outside the USA (not for the entire term though) BOD member - the Lovely Ms. O'Cull. :)

Keith is right. If you really want to be on the BOD, you have to work your way up. Volunteer for committiees, run events, post on this board, get your name out.
It's politics, sales and determination. Go for it.
