What: Ten Mondays of PDGA sanctioned league play
Where: Haikey Creek Park 11600 So. Garnett Rd. (We meet in the south parking lot by 13s basket and 14s tee)
When: Every Monday night from April 16 June 18, 2012

The 2012 disc golf season is upon us! As the weather turns warmer, the fairways turn greener, and our itch to get out of the house gets.. well, itchier what better way to start the season than by participating in the 2012 Monday Night Madness!
The format will be almost indistinguishable from a regular TDSA Mini. We will play the course a bit differently from week to week. I will announce a few days in advance what format the round will be played.
Cost per round: $7 per night ($4 per player is paid out each week, $1 goes to the final league payout at the end of the league schedule, $1 as always goes to the TDSA, 50 cents goes to the PDGA, and 50 cents goes to the Haikey course improvement fund) $1 optional ace pot and $1 optional CTP each round. CTPs will be >100% payout.
Differences:
1. Rules - each mini will be a PDGA sanctioned event and all PDGA rules will be followed, except one: consumption of alcohol during rounds will be allowed, but players are still subject to the conduct guidelines set by the PDGA.
2. Rated Rounds - You will get a round rating each round that will count towards your overall PDGA rating. You will not receive ratings unless you are a current PDGA member. New members get 30% off their first years membership by signing up online and using the offer code LEAGUENEW30
3. Points system - You will earn points based on where you finish in your division each week. Example- If 5 players play Advanced, 1st place gets 5 pts, 2nd gets 4, 3rd gets 3, etc.. if two or more players tie, then all players will receive points based on the highest finish. Example 5 player division, 3 players tie for 2nd. Points would be 5-4-4-4-1. If you play different divisions during the league, your points do not carry over from division to division. You will gain separate amounts of points in each division. There will be an extra payout at the end of the league paying out the top 3 finishers in each division based on points.
4. The ace pot will be part of Haikey Creeks regular ace pot.
5. Payout any pro division will be paid in cash and all amateur divisions will be paid in merchandise, just like the regular TDSA mini format. Payout sheets are always viewable by any player by asking the TD. If you usually play in an amateur division but wish to play Pro in the league, accepting cash during league play will NOT be reported to the PDGA and thus will NOT affect your amateur status.
6. Banking payout you are allowed to bank a payout during league play. However all prizes must be claimed by the end of the league. I will post on facebook and the pdga discussion board weekly results as well as points standings and prizes banked. You cannot use banked prize winnings for future entry fees.
7. Bag Tags you will be required to show your TDSA bag tag at the time of sign-up. There will be a $1 fee for non-TDSA members or members who left their tag at home, in their other car, etc. Divisional bag tag mass challenges will happen throughout the season.

Any other questions concerning the league can be sent to pdga15288@gmail.com or by calling Bill Moyers at 918 852 6543.

Hope to see you out there!
