capping divisions at 4 is crap.. just saying

i do not set the caps, just maintain them.

with the overall field being limited to 84, and the history of this event filling they wanted to limit divisions to having full cards. (21 holes x 4 people per card) they also went off of players per division the past few years to determine these caps.

that might make it sound worse or better. don't know. hopefully the latter

Thanks for the information relay Ish! Okay eveyone, the Victoria Open is on for 2012....guna be some changes. The Victoria Disc Golf Club will be running the event this year. The tourney will be Directed by our club President, Ryan DeSpain. Ryan is a go getter and has worked his butt off to make this tournament great. Am players packs will be awesome and lots of freebies for everyone. And of course, lots of fun....and a few surprises too. The tourney this year will be the original 21 hole Riverside course. No temp course will be played. New teesigns have been installed and the city just bought us 10 brand new baskets. So, the course looks great. The field will be capped at 84 players, so it's half full now. get in or be left out. See yall there...Kevin

You don't need a pass to camp...it is free.

Played the mini there last Sunday. Riverside looks great! New signs and new baskets! Can't wait for this tournament!

Is there a wait list for the Victoria Open (just in case someone cancels)? If so, please put Nicole Cazares pdga #25252 on the wait list for the Pro Women's division.

Have a post-round party afterwards saturday evening. Dinner will be provided to players and a few awards will be handed out and some other fun stuff. The bay has been pretty poor this year...Indianola Fish Center may be your best bet Saturday evening to rip some lips.

~ Friday Doubles-- 12pm-4pm Flex start. Ams teams $20/Team ; Pro Teams $30/team. 100% Cash payout for both divisions.

SATURDAY----

~Check in by 8:00 am. Players Meeting will be held from 8:15 am-8:45 am.

~Round 1---9:00 AM shotgun start

~Lunch Break 11:30am-1:30pm

~Round 2---2 PM Start

~5 PM-6:30 PM Free Spaghetti Dinner and Club Awards at the course (Sponsored by Victoria Convention and Visitation Bureau.)


SUNDAY----

~8:45 AM card pick ups

~ Round 3---9:00 AM Shotgun Start
