The Memorial Championship presented by Discraft is coming up fast! In fact, registration will open at 12:01am EST next Monday 12/5/2011.

The first PDGA National Tour Elite Series event of 2012, the Memorial Championship presented by Discraft, will be held in Scottsdale and Fountain Hills, Arizona on February 29 � March 3 in conjunction with a PDGA SuperTour A-Tier event for Amateur players. Last year�s Memorial Championship was a huge success including the �Memorial Experience,� a disc golf-themed community festival on the Saturday of the finals with vendors, food, and a free concert. The Memorial team has been working all year to make the entire 2012 tournament and �Memorial Experience� even better than last year�s!

To register for either the National Tour or Amateur A-Tier portion of the 2012 Memorial Championship your PDGA membership MUST be current for 2012. Be sure to renew or join the PDGA before signing up for the Memorial Championship to make sure you have secured your spot. Also, don't forget that all players in a National Tour event must pass the Officials Exam if they haven�t already done so in 2011. The official�s exam may be found at:

Will AM's be paid out on Saturday or earlier? I will be traveling to the event from Texas and would like to know how long to expect to stay, should I or anyone in our group, cash and how we should plan our travel schedule. Any information would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Last year all the payouts were done Saturday evening, Pros and AM's. I would expect the same thing this year.

Dave is correct, the trophy presentation for Am's is Saturday after the final round for Pro's.

Just updated the Pro and Am side, filling up quick!

What are the max entries on the Pro side? 144,200?

210 per side is my absolute max but we usually get some late drops and I don't add people week of. Usually at the start of the week we're around 195 per side.

Only 13 spots left on the Pro side!!! Am update coming next!
