Hey everyone,

It's that time of year again for the Razorback Classic! The date is set for October 22nd and I am pumped! We held our first official club meeting today and had a record turnout of about 15 brand new club members! This adds to our already solid 10 members or so... Anyway, I will post soon with the nitty gritty details of the tournament as far as prices, divisions, and so on...

I am really looking forward to running this event and am asking that the Donkey club and WAFDA step up and help us out with some sponsorship and promotion of the tournament like always. I cannot express how much I personally have appreciated the support of our local clubs in the past, and I will make sure that this tournament is another one to remember!

Thanks!

Its that time of year again. Hard to believe this will be the 8th occurrence of this event. The Razorback Classic has truly become a tradition forever engrained into the U of A campus and Fayetteville community.

The Arkansas Disc Golf Club has been running this event since the clubs inception. The money raised from this event helps the club travel and compete against other collegiate teams. Our tournament schedule for the 2...011-2012 season is:

SEC Championships IDGC, Appling, GA October 1-2
Rocky Mountain Collegiate Championships Fort Morgon, CO October 29-30
National Collegiate Disc Golf Championships North Augusta, SC April 14-19

Follow Razorback Disc Golf and like our page
Currently the Razorbacks are ranked 5th Nationally out of 50 teams

On Saturday, October 22nd Old Main Lawn on the U of A campus will turn into a challenging and scenic 18-hole championship course. Through collaboration with the NWA and Fort Smith disc golf community we are able to gather 18 full size legit baskets to set up a course on Old Main Lawn. The course was designed four years ago and has changed very little through the years. Signature hole 17's tee pad plays off the 2nd floor patio of the Graduate building.

We have not worked out the exact details. But here's what we are thinking:

Donuts will be provided by Olde Tyme Donuts in the morning

Ok so it turns out that there is a wedding scheduled on old main lawn so there will be no Razorback Classic on the date of october 22nd. We are going to try and reserve the lawn for november 13th but no guarantees I suppose... Sorry for the inconvenience and please spread the word as much as possible cause the last thing that we want is a bunch of people showing up to old main lawn and there not being a tournament.
