The Concho Valley Disc Golf Association is pleased to announce that we have set the date for our annual West Texas Doubles tournament for Sept 24-25 in San Angelo, TX. This year we are partnering with the Laura Bush Institute for Women's Health at Angelo State University for their Annual Pink Out Campaign in hopes to help them raise a lot of money for Breast Cancer Awarness. We have a number of different levels of sponsorship packages, we will have custom stamped discs, a PINK basket for raffle along with a clinic on Friday night to invite people to come out and learn about disc golf. We will have discs available for use at the clinic so they don't even have to own a disc to come and learn to play. We are in hopes that this will be our biggest Doubles yet. We play 3 different courses, all in town. We even have our mixed division which brings a lot of the ladies out to play and we love that. If you have not yet attended this event, I strongly recommend trying to make it this year. Going to miss playing in the mixed division with "the TD" this year....But I'm sure I'll have a blast in the Adv. division.

Will you have age protected divisions? I couldn't tell by the signup. Wondering about MG1 and SG1

I have not had age protected divisions as of yet because we have not had a demand for them. If there are 3 teams in a certain age category we will definitely have a division for them, but I can not guarantee it at this time.

Signed up and ready to go for the W.T. Doubles in a few weeks.....have you gotten your partner yet? What...why not? It will be here before we know it!
