Some things of note this year:

-NO SIGNUPS will be taken Sat morning, June 25. We will be at the doubles event at ACU on Friday until the last card comes in. Unless you make arrangments with me later that night, your out of luck.
-Dry-fit shirts will be for the first 110 AMS. We have decided to direct more cash into the Pro divisions payout. A limited number of extras will be for sale.
-We will be adding $1,000 to the Pro purse.
-We are playing Cal Young and ACU with 9 temporary baskets.
-9 hole mini golf course set up after Rd. 2 at CY. $2 a round for unlimited rounds. Payout in cash... # of places TBD.
-All Am Women and Juniors will be in the payout

Lunch provided both days, but unfortunatly we cant use the church this year. Its a smaller church, and the few people that run the childrens ministry could only do their Vacation bible school on June 25. So that pulls resources they would have to run the food trailor. I am working on some other options. Rest asured, we will have lunch provided.

I will have maps and rules guides for all players...that makes everything a lot smoother from a rules enforcing perspective. If your looking for a place to stay, check out our host hotel. Its inexpoensive, clean, and very close to both courses. Links can be found at the wild hair link above.

Thats it for now. Spread the word! 2 1/2 weeks and counting!!!!

What a day yesterday!! VEERY HOT! Had 18 show up and brave the hellacious wind and scorching heat.

Players list updated...38 players. 32 of which are AM's, so 78 shirts left. I expect the registrations will come in fast and furious this week. Should be plenty of room, but PLEASE sign up sooner rather than later if you can. I have to get a much more accurate count for the food this year as early as I can (Wed perhaps).

Yesterday evening, a freak storm developed over the NE side of Abilene and several trees had limbs (some very large in size) completly blown off. Its been so dry that the sudden extreme gusts of winds made them just snap right off. Lots of work to be done this week...

Speaking of heat, its going to be very hot during the wild hair. Forcasts last week had temps in the 90's with chances of rain all weekend. Today, the forcast has everything back in the triple digits. We will have water bottle and coolers on both courses, but please bring some fluids. You will need to stay WELL HYDRATED next weekend.

Sign up at Dynamic Discs.com....direct link is a few posts above.

Did you get any rain with that wind?

Looking like a good chance I'll be able to make it again this year. I'll need the electricians and HVAC guys to get their stuff done in a timely manner, but it's looking good. I'll contact you as soon as possible when I know for sure.

I may show up just to see what even a small chance of rain looks like:o. We haven't even topped the 1 inch mark yet this year whereas we are normally around 10 by now. The Canadian River is bone dry and fires are scorching lots of acreage up in this area.

We got some rain the last few days, and a break from the dang wind! I swear it was 25+ for 2 weeks straight. Sat night, we got a 10 minute freak storm come through (I heard 80+ mph gusts) and down some substantial limbs on several trees. The city really kicked it into high gear and already have everything cleared out. Way to go Abilene Parks!

We'd love to have you Rock! let me know!

New players list up...52 so far. A little low on the registrations compared to last year, but still look to top the 100 mark...we shall see :-) Might be some happy Pro players with the added cash spread to just a few :-)

Hope everyone has a great time in Abilene this weekend! I know the ADGA will be putting on a great event as always! One I hope to make again one day!

Since I can't this year....Please be sure to tell Alan happy B-day from Jason every time you see him with a 1 finger solute!

Oh...and on the rain topic, San Angelo finally got some rain last night...almost 1 inch!!! Been exactly 1 month since the last rain.....which wasn't near that amount!

Finally back home afer picking the kids up in Houston and all I can say is WOW.

Another great weekend in Abilene, well done Misty, Jerry and Gary and all of the other ADGA members. What a job on the water, never empty and always running over.

Great to see old friends, meet new ones and to have a playing companion all three rounds that epitamizes the name of sportsman, thanks Greg.

Thanks ADGA and again, great job
