Really looking forward to playing Live Oak but open to persuasion if there are better options in the area. I read about a mini or something going on and talks about a redesign so any info would be nice. I am looking to play the 21st of May around 7 in the AM........ So if you ARE A EARLY BIRD and want to play a round let me know.

Live Oak is one of the best around the area, but there are several others that give it a run for the money. Brian McClain DGC has a mini on Saturday mornings at 10. Check out the San Antonio disc Golf Club on facebook for more info. Register around 9-930. Universal City DGC has a mini on Sunday mornings. Check out www.LODGA.com for more info.

The redesign of Live Oak will happen later in the year. We are working on funding right now. The goal is to have 3 HOUCK design courses (54 holes of championship caliber golf) in one complex. There is a local college adjacent to the park that we hope will partnership with us on that.

Others around that are about 45 minutes away are Kyle, Steeplechase DGC, and of course the Circle R Ranch.

Thanks for your time in this matter. I have checked all of the Club site for the area LODGA and SADC. I was just looking for some up to date info on course conditions. I am not sure how much time I will have as we are down there for a birthday party. I will check out the facebook page as I have not yet.
