The 2011 Summer Series is not a Waterloo Disc Golf Club event. However, the first tournament in the series, Battle of Slaughter Creek, is a Waterloo event. Jeremy "Bird" Grange is the TD, and the club looks forward to kicking off his Summer Series in style.

The 2011 Summer Series

June 11-12, 2011 Battle of Slaughter Creek
PDGA B-Tier Event benefiting Waterloo Disc Golf Club

We are just a couple of weeks away from the tournament and we need to get in some sponsorship. There will be $500 cash added to the pro divisions, players packs for all the amateurs, plus a big raffle so we can use all the support we can get, both cash and merchandise. Our sponsorship request letter is below, please let us know if you can donate or if you have any questions.

Dear Sponsor,

The Waterloo Disc Golf Club will be hosting its annual Battle of Slaughter Creek disc golf tournament on June 11-12, 2011, at the Austin Ridge Bible Church disc golf course. The tournament will be a PDGA sanctioned B-Tier event. We would like to include you, your club, or your business in our list of sponsors for the event. All sponsors will be given advertisement at our event in the form of a post on our website and facebook page, and a listing in the players guide. Sponsors who donate $100 or more also will be recognized with a tee sign on the course.

At this time we are looking to gather donations to enhance the quality of the event. Donations can be in monetary or merchandise form. All donations will be accepted and appreciated. To make a donation contact Jeremy Bird Grange at 405-922-1306. Thank you for your time and generosity.

Jeremy Bird Grange
