Come on folks sign up for this 1st time event....the Travel and Tourism department of Rocky Mount has added $2000.00 bux to the purse for this event, making it a total of 2500.00 added for the event.
It would make the TD's job much easier if you could shoot him an email to let him know you are coming, you can pay him the day of the event but if he can get a better idea of the amount of people that are going to attend this event, all will run much smoother.
Thanks

Unless there is a fear factor of the event filling up in 75 minutes, most disc golfers are never gonna make an effort to do anything that would make the TDs life easier. Pre-registering is so helpful to the TD. You know what else is something that gets over looked. People who DNF, disc golf competitors should never DNF without telling the TD. When a TD has to change cards up, or send people to different holes 30 seconds before the 2 minute warning, because someone didnt let them know they were DNFing. That is Super Lame! The expectations are too high on disc golf TDs and there is not nearly enough respect for them that they deserve.
Sorry for the rant everyone! I don't consider all disc golfers this way, just most of them. And I do sincerely hope this event kicks arse! I don't know Chuck, but it seems like what he is doing is good for the sport.

You know which courses are being used? I might try do Rocky Mount and then drive up to VA and visit my sister and try and get some of those 1 day tourneys before doing Asheville. Yup I'm a busy traveling Intermediate :D.

All I could find was this. Would be nice if next time they got a little bit more info out in one place like a flyer or something.
ALL CONTESTANTS MUST CHECK IN/REGISTER AT SUNSET PARK ON SATURDAY MORNING BY 9:00 A.M. After the players meeting you will be directed to the course that you will be playing. Pre payment is not required to pre register. If you want to pre register for the event send me an email with your NAME, PDGA NUMBER (if you have one) and YOUR DIVISION.
