If there is a good turnout, i might do it again in the future. (Fundraisers for other tournaments, wink wink) Maybe even a monthly thing??? Traveling??? And maybe a future "Minimum Ace Pot"?!?!?!?!?

i have been asked a couple of questions...

Do I have to be present to collect payout?
YES! If you have to leave and come back i will give you ample time to return. However, if you don't show back up to collect payout, your cut will be considered a donation to the Deaf Nationals Tournament this is a fundraiser for.

What if there are no aces?
In the odd event there are no aces on this afternoon of Ace Runs at the McClain Short Tees, there will be a ctp going on. When you finish your round i will have a ctp set up at the practice basket, as long as no aces have been hit yet. 50% of the ace pot will be given out to the top 2 players (at 60%-40%). The remainder will be put away, as a starting ace pot, for the next Flex Start Mini. (to be announced at a later date... pending other events and my work schedule)

Can I enter just for the Ace Pot?
I debated this for a while. The first time around, you must enter for the full $10. Following rounds must be at least the Ace Pot with Payout optional. (This may change for next time)

Can I make payout twice?
YES! If you pay twice or more you may collect twice or more. (You could end up 1st, 2nd, and 3rd... who knows??)

On a side note... i did a few sample payouts and encourage as many of you as you can to sign up using fives and ones. Otherwise i may need to send someone to make change.

sorry i haven't posted on this yet. my computer was on the fritz this weekend.

we didn't have that great of a turnout (25 total paid entries) but still had $100 to add to the Deaf Nationals in Austin at the end of may. That came from entries and payout that was donated back.

And we had a $100 ace pot that no one hit. $50 was CTP'd off to Justin and Jon (i think)
So the next one... date to be announced soon... will have a $50 starting ace pot. hopefully we'll get a better turn out next time.

I'm planning on future flex start minis to help raise funds for USWDGC, LOSO, and the Fly Ink Open. be on the lookout for dates to be announced.
