Wednesday Night SADC League @ McClain

Wednesday League @ McClain is back by popular demand starting Wednesday March 30, 2011.

Sign up by 5:45PM, Tee off @ 6:00 PM.

I'll querry the group as we move through league but I'm thinking this year we'll use multiple formats including shorts, regulars, & doubles.

We'll start off from the shorts for the first few weeks due to time constraints.

$10 for Open Division
$6 for Amatuer Division

I'm excited about the Weds. mini's being back! BUT Gas prices are gonna keep me on my side of town. I should be able to do 1 day a week, either Sat. mornings or Weds. night. I'm gonna miss the first Weds.... my better and I half will be in Rockport fishing for the Texas Trifecta... flounder, trout and REDS!

2011 FLY INK BAGS will be available at the first Wednesday night mini! This will be the initial draw so if you want in on the ground floor make sure to show up on the Mar 30th.

In an effort to get more top tier pros to come play the Fly Ink Open, this year the bag tags are a fundraiser for the Fly Ink Open. 100% of the profit from these bag tag sales goes directly to the Fly Ink Open and directly back to the players.

Wimer is still working out all the rules and prizes and those will be posted soon. What I can tell you is the top Amateur & the top Pro bag tag holder at the end of the season will definately be playing the Fly Ink Open. :D

As Dave pointed out, the bag tags are in. They are $20 and 100% of the profits go to the added cash of the Fly Ink Open. We know they are a little more expensive than last year, but our goal is to get over $5000 in added cash this year and you can help support that. $5000 in added cash means pretty mich that all of the worlds top players will be here.

Dave will also have fundrasier discs soon. They are really really really really really really awesome. Designed by Skeet (ahhh skeet skeet skeet skeet) and are so awesome I can't say how awesome they'll be enough. 100% of the profits of these disc sales goes to support the Fly Ink Open.

Lastly I'll have memberships for sale starting today. They are $10 and you get a patch and sticker. Plus with the membership you are eligable for the ace pots at the Wednesday and Saturday minis. There will be a one week grace period for non members to get the full ace pot, but after that, you must be a member to get the full ace pot, else you'll get just that week's ace funds.

Its gonna be a great year!

Great first league night ... had 16 players. No aces, Brian D won open with an -11 down, top am scores where (2) -6.

I called him last night, he was at the Doctor getting checked out so he made it home OK.

It sounds like the word will be getting out on Facebook, etc.

But, for those of us still using the 'ol message board this Wednesday, August 3rd McClain mini will be cancelled as to have "all hands on deck" for the installation push at Tejeda Middle School.

The last Wednesday night mini at McClain this year will be on September 21. It's getting dark too early.

We playing short tees tonight and/or next week to shorten the round times?
