Neoprene cell phone case would be great for protecting your phone in your bag during a round. I use a neoprene koozie now for the same job.

I like the flip top cell phone case as well.

On another note, I am planning on going out to the course on sunday afternoon to do some scouting and measuring of holes. If anyone is free and would like to come out and put some input in the layout it would be much appreciated. The layout is going to be similar to last years but we need to make some changes as per the request of the Boerne parks dept. Let me know who is available. I was thinking meet at the Rim and carpool from there because the park is charging entry startin March 1.

Normally you just earn points in the division that you play.

However MM1 is a unique situation. Considering its probably just Paul, Corey, & Dave locally I'll let you make one move right now. If you want to play MM1 the rest of the way then I'll move your points one time (now). Otherwise you'll need to make a decision to stay in MA2 the rest of the year.

Thinking of it this way, the delima expands...Maybe others will come and play MM1, but there is usually at least 12 that play MA2 and last year only 2 tourneys had MM1 and one was the Gonzo Open.

Why'd the THC Throwdown have to be during Fiesta? I've been the last two years but I'm gonna have to miss out this time around... and I suspect we'll lose out on some other players, too, though I doubt we'll have a lack of participants. Poor, just poor.

That's just how the cookie crumbles this year. In case you haven't looked at the Texas PDGA schedule, dates are extremely hard to come by and we just took what was available. Joe started the year playing Rec in the series. PDGA rules allow for a player to continue play a division below their rating, at the TDs discrestion, in this situation.

Give him the choice to exercise his one-time move of his Rec points in the series into Intermediate.

That's not really an option for Joe because all of the people he was competing against where not in the that division and also moving up (i.e. the Advanced Masters players). If I moved him up he'd immediately go to first place in Int without ever having p[layed against an Int player. He can stay in Rec for the year or move up when he wants to. Once you move up for one event, there's no turning back.
