I wanted to get this thread going and let everyone know the Zebulon Disc Golf Club has the honor of planning and directing this year's Cha-Ching & Zing tournament.

David Mansfield has asked the ZDGC to promote and run the tournament with the goal of delivering a great experience for everyone.

We have Champion Glow Firebirds and Champion Glow Gazelles for $20 each.

You can get yours at either a Zebulon Monthly or Wednesday Doubles event. The April Monthly is this Saturday April 9.

We have 4 weeks of Wendesday doubles before the Cha-Ching & Zing. If it survives until then we will have a $450+ Ace Pool for the tournament.

We will likely cap the Ace pool at $400. Allowing us to have a $100 ace pool for a Friday July 1st doubles before the Cha-Ching & Zing. If an Ace is not hit, we will have a throw off for the $100. :D

Let me repeat that. There is no scheduled Friday doubles at Kentwood on July 1st. So Zebulon will be having a Friday $5 doubles on July 1st before the Cha-Ching & Zing tournament weekend. We will have a guaranteed $100 Ace pool that must be won. If there are no Aces, everyone will throw off for the $100! :cool:

Do you know what will be available for lunch? This year it seems everyone has been doing some sort of Mexican and that can be dangerous sometimes :D.

First thought was Jambalaya but I shot that down quick. It should be sandwiches one day and still to be decided the other.

Does anyone have any votes on what lunch should be?

For lunch I'm always a fan of Subs or something similar. In Burlington they did boxed lunches from Jersey Mike's and I thought that worked out really well.

A shout out to the Zebulon club. You did an excellent job. Lucas did a great job as a TD. On time, well informed, course looked great, and wonderful lunches. Makes for a great tournament. Good to see a tournament ran great. Ill be back.

I got in a couple of practice rounds beofre the event and before we put the wife in the hospital in early labor. The course looks best it ever has and the event sounded first class, hate I had to miss it. I apparently left a firebird on the course and would love to get it back. It is yellow with a dragon fly drawn on the top....she has a few aces and my pdga number underneath. I will gladly give a disc or cash reward if anyone can send her back to me. Thanks.
