San Antonio Disc Club was asked once again by Long's Creek Elementary School to participate in the Annual Science Day. This year it will be on April 1, 2011 starting at 8:00 AM and usually ends before 2:00 PM. This is a FUN Event that I personally like to volunteer for every year. I think this is our 3rd year showing the students "The Science of Disc Golf". We are looking for volunteers to help out on this one. Please let me know if you can help. Lunch is provided free for all volunteers.

I know I cant go but I wanted to throw a little plug in here if I could.

For those of you that dont have anything to do on April 1st you need to be at this school science fair. Everyone always talks about how we want to better the sport of disc golf and get more people playing well this is the way. Kids are much easier to persuade than adults and if you get a kid to go home and talk about disc golf to their parents I am more than positive their parents are going to take them OUTSIDE to play. Before you know it you have a whole family playing.
Ive participated before at this science fair and the kids love it. Dont skip out on this opportunity.
