Great Cause Jason! My daughter went to the Sunshine Cottage School For Deaf Children to get tested and it was free. What a great service so families can know early on if their child may have hearing issues. I know the earlier people find out about those issues, the better they can react and make sure the kids don't fall behind developmentally. :)

This is gonna be a great event. And ditto to what Scott says... a GREAT cause!!! Let's show 'em that the SADC family really cares about what they are doing!

YES!! i want this to be a lady friendly event!!! hence, the MIXED division. i've always enjoyed mixed doubles. how many of you guys are bringing the wives/girlfriends? i know of at least 3 women from the Corpus/Rockport area who are planning on making it here. PLUS, some from San Antonio as well!!! the more the merrier!!!

I'm learning about a couple of women only teams (3 that i can think of). I think in the past few years combined we only had one. Since i haven't planned for that i'm gonna have to add them to the mixed division. Hopefully next year we will be able to accomodate a women's only division.

thanks scott! being my first time out, i'm not sure what else i need. and i would definately like to do this again, i just hope i don't blow it.

i have not set a cap. last year i believe we had 106 players (53 teams) and a course comfortable holds 72 so there will obviously (SP) be some cards of 6. i'll just try to figure out which divisions would be the best for that. that i'll need help/advise with.

as for the scorepoint, i'm off thursday and friday, which means i'll be out at mccalin getting some last minute trash pickup and walking for anything else that might need to be adjusted. and i have 2 hour lunches this week. i work by where you live so it may be easy to meet then. so i'm sure something can be arranged. you have my number right?

i don't think i have mentioned this but keep getting asked... we will be using all the original concrete tees and pin positions.

but while everyone is out, keep checking behind you and around fairways for some orange flags denoting alternate tee and pin locations.
