Alright Sports Fans... here's the low down on the Nightmare.

What: PDGA XC Tier event

Where: Nani Falcone Disc Golf Course (San Antonio, Texas 78250)

When: Jan. 8th, 2011

Cost: Open/ Advanced $45 (ace pot included)
Interm. / Rec. $35 (ace pot included)
*Non-PDGA members fee of $10 not included*

Schedule: 1pm-230pm- Registration
245pm- Players Meeting
3pm-530pm Round 1 (18 Holes)
730pm-930pm Round 2 (18 holes)

Round 1 will be a similar to last years daytime round. 18 holes of OB fun! Round 2 will kick off once the sun goes down. Bring lights for your discs and we will light up the baskets. Nine extra holes will be installed for the event.

Since the event is so close already. We will be doing "DAY OF" sign ups only. No worries on the time though...I will be running a flex-start Dubz from 10am-1pm that morning.

Micah wants to walk through the course next week. I don't see why anything would change. I'll have distances mesured once we ok the holes.

We are going to have to push the walk through back to Thurs. @ 5pm.

Don't forget that this year's Nightmare @ Nani is a PDGA sanctioned event. That means it's $10 off the tourney entry fee if you are a PDGA member. The San Antonio Disc Club will be out registering new PDGA members and renewing existing members for 2011. If you register through SADC you'll receive a $5 discount on your membership/renewal!

Micah, Scott and Marcos were my safety nets for this. I don't know how Scott did all the events last year... he must have it down to a science! HUGE Thanks to them!

I want to thank Disc Golf Station, Dave Wimer, Patrick Wright, Jayson Houston, Corey, Scott and Marcos for bringing out their baskets. The one I brought out was Aced during DubZ! Super Sweet!

And the rain held off till just the right time!! What a great way to start off the 2011 Alamo Disc Series!

For the record I dueced that hole 2 of 3 times (doubles & round 1), all 3 shots landing in the safe area.

Including doubles, I played 53 of 54 holes that day without a bogey+. My only bogey+ holes was hole 18 round 1 (double circle 6).
