** This entry fee is BEFORE the 5 dollar deduction and 2 dollar PDGA fee. Payouts will be based on a 43 dollar, a 28 dollar, and a 23 dollar entry fee.

Once again,this will be for the top 4 pros and will count in their overall total.

1 - Behind 4's basket to 3
2 - Temp tee about 100 feet behind 11's tee to 11
3 - 14 to 5
4 - Behind 15's tee down the hill to 17
5 - 5 to 15 (Par 4)
6 - 16 to 17
7 - 18 to 9
8 - 1 to 2 - Mando left from tree in front of 1's basket (Par 4)
9 - 3 to 4 - Mando left from tree in front of creek of 3 (Par 4)

Assistant TD Justin Jernigan and I went out to Kentwood today to play the final 9. As it is with most things, the way you picture something in your head and the way things really are aren't always the same. A few of the holes that in our heads were really good in reality were not and we have made a few changes for the final 9 for the following holes of the final 9:

1 - We will tee from the shelter area and play to 2's basket.

The reverse 4 idea is a good hole, just had too many limbs in the flight of the disc to make this a fair hole.

4 - We will tee behind 15 and play to 4's basket

15 to 17 was just too much of a tweener where I didn't see anyone carding a 2 but didn't see anyone carding a 4 either. 15 to 4 is a tricky placement par 4 that requires players to either go over or around the ball field.

We feel this final 9 will produce the best combination of score separation and exciting shots for the gallery to see.

This event is WELL ahead in terms of pre-registration this year than any year prior. Most years when we would have 80 people, we would have 30 or 40 pre registrations. We should hit 50 tomorrow. I can name 20 - 30 people who are playing who havent signed up NOT on the list. Very important to know all 50 people on the list HAVE paid. Don't delay. And if you dont want to pay the online fee, just mail a check.

I wish I could play but won't be able to play in Raleigh until July 16 - 17.

The Winter Jam is now Full. Thanks to all for pre-registering. Please contact me at [email protected] to be added to the waitlist. All players must check in by 9:30 or risk losing their spot. If someone drops before the tournament starts, the waitlist member next in line will be contact and they can then pay day of.

Wished I could have come to this event. I have to make up a snow day with the high school. Have fun!

With a waiting list, I have to be a sticular for checking in on time. I've been slack in the past with allowing people to check in around 9:45, but NOT this year.

If you do not check in by 9:30, you will lose your spot and you will lose your entry fee.

DON'T BE THAT GUY!

I have contacted Raleigh Parks and Rec regarding the bathrooms at Kentwood being locked. Due to the cold temperatures recently and the expected sub freezing temperatures this weekend, Raleigh Parks and Rec will NOT unlock the bathrooms for the tournament.

I really wish there is something I could do about this but there is nothing. There are plenty of fast food and gas stations within minutes of the course

ONCE AGAIN, THE BATHROOMS WILL NOT BE OPEN DURING THE EVENT. PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY.
