Hey I thought that I would post this here because after three attempts I could not get a response from anyone on the contacts list. I became a member a few weeks ago and registered as a pro. pretty much because I thought it would be cool to win money. I have only been playing a little while and have come to the realization, after actually playing in some tournies, that I won't get cash in the am division anyway. How do I change it back to am status, or do I have to?

If you ever want to play in an Amateur Major event like Am Worlds or Am Nationals, you cannot do it if you are listed as a pro member. Otherwise, as long as your rating is under 970, you can play in pro in some events and maybe win cash and sometimes play in an Am division based on your rating and maybe win prizes. If you want to change to Am member status, contact the Memberships Manager at the PDGA office.
