No post for this?!?!?! TALK IT UP! Looks like we got a full field and 15 on the waiting list. 3 people have made it on so far from waiting list too so looks like Jonas keeps getting registrations! CAN'T WAIT to make it back down this year. It's been many of years since I've gotten down to this one and got to jump in that duck doo filled pond full of glass, nails and sharp objects to cut your feet and infect your body with all the toxins in the pond!

Glad to have you back. I figure to put a half-dozen discs in the drink, and it's nice to know WaterBoy will be available so perhaps some of them will make it back to me.
Or are you older and wiser?
Always wonderful to play Hampton Park. Kudos to the Charlestonians for all the extra work of setting up a temporary course for a tournament. And since I'm one of the Lucky 100, I applaud the move to Hampton-only for the Charleston Classic.....we'll have plenty of chances to play Trophy Lakes in the summer.

AGREE! CC is and should have always been only for Hampton. You know David, I have completely forgot about the "Waterboy" name. That's so 9 years ago!!! Yes difference from 13,14,15 years old and now being 23 is much more wiser. Paul has one of the nice retrievers so I plan to use them. Unfortunately I lose many disc in Stoney Hill pond last weekend so my bag is slim. I do however have a bag full of new discs from playing AM in 2009 so that'll help. I'm okay if I lose in the fountain, the pond is different though. Can't wait to make it!

The Mt. Pleasant Red Roof Inn is my usual lodging in Charleston---but this year we'll be elsewhere (not sure where; Chris has something worked out somewhere else). Get a room on the back, facing the pond---more peaceful. And it's pretty convenient to everything.

I'm staying with Duane. I'm not coming down til Friday night, wife wants me home...SO i'm not usually the one who gets the room. I'm just good with having a room and some fast food and playing disc golf. I come down broke and still bring $$ back.

Greetings Disc Golfers,
I just got in off the waitlist for this tourney and do not have any lodging arrangements.
If any one local can host, or anyone has a room to split with spare bed, floor space, barn, dog house, etc...it would be greatly appreciated. Please PM me.
Thanks,
Matthew Halton Smith

Leaving tomorrow @ noon from Lexington. I should be there by 1:30 or so. Give me a call. (803) 917-3726. We may be able to work something out for you. I think we're packing 6 deep or so in a hotel room @ the Red Roof Inn in Mt. Pleasant so if we get enough people it may be worth splitting. Give me a call and I'll let you know more tomorrow.

Looks to better than Tupelo next weekend. Rainy/snowy/windy!!!! Not good since it's litterally across the street from the ocean.

I won't know for sure who is staying where until tomorrow afternoon. Call me then. Either way, the hotel we're staying in is $65/night.

Hold up. What happened to the 70 degree weather? I'm sure the flyer said something about sunny 70 degree weather. Or at least implied it.
And it doesn't make it any better if Trophy Lakes is 95 degrees and Hampton Park 55 degrees and so the average Charleston tournament weather is 75.

I just accepted an offer for a free ticket to the SEC Championship game. Took about 4 seconds to decide. D#mn Gameocks. Can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em. If your next up on the wait list, your in.

Big thanks to Jonas, Lauren, Kevin, & whoever else was involved in running this tournament. I know it's quite a project compared to an event on a permanent course.
