We are asking that you please Pre Register online with Dynamic Discs to receive your players pack. This makes it much easier to keep track of players signed up.

And remember that we are capping at 90 but players pack to the first 75.

Alright !!!!!! This event will be only two years old and already a "B" tier !!!!! WAFDA ROCKS !!!!!!

The community of Greenwood has welcomed disc golf with open arms and the future of this course has potential to be great depending on the imagination of the design !!!!!!!

I can't wait 'til Nov. 20th !!!!!!! Should be alot of FUN !!!!!! :)

I'm curious though, is Dynamic Discs going to be there ????

If not why the pre-reg through them instead of the PDGA or another site !!!!!!

Reason for DD is: less expensive than PDGA online sign up, and they do some sponsorship based upon amount of entries received

lots of good options for online entry - we're just checking out DD for this trial run

also note, players packs will be provided for #76 - #90 - just not as large of a package

to guarantee the big players pack - pre-reg online!!

These Players Packs are FREE & High Quality - nothing is deducted from entry for them and Ams and Pros are eligible for them

I haven't been that way in a while. What was done with the course after all the construction? How many holes were moved? Are there concrete pads yet? Regardless, I know we are bringing a HUGE Russellville crew over and we can't wait.

Hey Matt:

original hole 10 is gone, hole 11's tee is currently dangerous in a tourney setting, it's going over hole 12's tee

the course should play close to the same except for these issues which Eads will be plotting out, this will require some temp holes, knowing us, we'll try to stretch it out and trick it up for the tourney layout

we'll make sure to have it marked several days in advance of the event to allow for practice

as for the future of the course:

thankfully there are no concrete tees - the course layout is likely to go through a major renovation this winter - very possible to have several wooded holes going around the entire hill therefore eliminating and changing many of the current holes

the parks director has heard about horseshoe canyon is impressed

of course the new layout will not be anything close to that magnitude but we're gonna try to work some serious elevation into the new layout

Only if you bring two other Tourney players with you. :)

Im sure I can get my Sister to take care of them while you play. There is a playground right next to the course that would be perfect for them to play on

Eads. How is it that we can travel to disc golf tournaments together every other weekend and you still spell my name wrong on the pre-reg. list? ONE "L"!!! You're never getting that pink Surge back now.

It's ok - not a SN event so at least your points, ect. will go to the right person and your personalized product will be close, nothing a sharpie can't fix - I'd still throw that pink surge in the Pleasant View Lake though :)

Listen Mr. LOYD I had nothing to do with the registration list. Dynamic Discs was the one who put it up on the pdga. As many times that I have heard you "complain" about your name being misspelled I promise you that I would never mess it up now. :P

Please be patient - Chris has never done em' before and I'll do my best to help him get them up - he tried Saturday night and had problems and I missed his call late that night to help (phone still on vibrate after tourney)

Chris had to finish out a state wide series on Sunday out of town (swept it - over $400 in winnings) and back to the day job today

I'm really interested to see the ratings with the wild swings in scoring 1st round to 2nd round without different weather except I guess alot of people who had never played the course before figured out the lines for the 2nd round - it's gonna be real interesting seeing the % of payout also with the free $40 + players packs, $525 added to pros and a few hundred in merch added to ams also

I want to thank everyone for coming, I had an absolute blast playing instead of TDing plus we raised over $700 for EDGE :)

Looks like this tournament really went great. Wish I could have gone. Pretty good turn out for a November event.

However, it looks like theres some serious sandbagging issues in the Intermediate Division. Dissappointing to see so few of players in the Advanced Division, but yet the top four scores in Intermediate tied or beat the 1st place Advanced scores. No suprise or anything. Wish something could be done to prevent this from happening. Hopefully these players who tied or beat the top advanced scores will move up for the next event.

Congrats to WAFDA for holding another successful event.

Thank you Ryan. We were def hoping to see a few more NWA players than we actually did. I was very happy with the turn out. I think it has a lot to do with the reputation that WAFDA has when it comes to running tournaments.
As far as the sandbagging comment I think the scores are a little misleading because this course is not difficult in length but more difficult in OB's and if you stay away from danger you can shoot really well no matter the skill level.
I think if this had been Alma or Ben Geren you would have noticed a little more separation in the divisions.
